View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using Advanced Task Killer which I'm finding really useful. I have an ignore list set and it kills the apps that aren't being used regularly. However, I'm wondering why these apps keep restarting again. The sort of things that keep restarting are Gallery, Messaging, Yahoo! Messenger, Email, Skype, Maps, etc. I'm sure that I'm signed out on all of these apps and have the settings set such that they shouldn't keep restarting/synching. Are there any apps similar to 'msconfig' in Windows where you can tick which things you want to start up and what you don't?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a new phone, the Samsung Galaxy s6. I was really excited as I had heard nothing but good things.
Unfortunately the reality is very disappointing. My phone restarts itself all the time (6x in the last hour alone) and there are constant 'Unfortunately app x has stopped working' messages (15 in the last hour). The applications that crash are everything from FB to the keyboard to the Play Store, nothing consistent.
I have tried starting in safe mode to check if it was a third party app causing the problem, deleting the app cache, wiping the cache partition, a soft reset, a hard factory reset. Unfortunately nothing works and the problems continue.
I'm running Android version 5.1.1

View 1 Replies View RelatedOccasionally when using my device, it will freeze for a brief moment and the running apps window will pop up by itself. It will then start cycling through the running apps list (I use the card view), and it will randomly open one of the applications, and then sometimes repeat this process a couple of times in quick succession before I can regain control of the screen. The whole event will usually last about 3 seconds, but as you can imagine it is becoming quite annoying. I would say that it happens about every 3 days or so.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAny good app to speed up Internet access on Galaxy S2 running ICS. Wifi connection is fine, it's when I am connected via 3G that speed drops and applications such as facebook takes a long time to open and sometimes I encounter timeout errors. For a phone with such a fast processor this is a little bit disappointing. My question therefore is there an app that can run in the background to speed the 3g connection up?
