View 1 Replies View Relatedmy PC can't read it any more. When I plug it into the card reader, it is detected, but always with a message like "The disk in drive H: is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?". The card seems to work fine in the phone, all the data is available. I didn't used to have this issue before, but I wouldn't be able to tell you off hand when I last used the card via card reader.
So my first guess was that some recent firmware upgrade may have changed the filesystem on the mem card. I downloaded the ext2/3 drivers from ext2fsd.com , but that didn't help either. I haven't yet had a chance to connect the phone via USB directly and explore the card that way, but it usually takes quite long to transfer files that way. So what can I try to get Windows to read the card? Is it a filesystem issue? Has anybody seen this before?I am running Android 4.0.3 on Samsung firmware (I9100DXLPA).
The SG-II's built-in mail app has a most annoying "feature":it obviously marks mails that it downloaded as read on the POP server. I would prefer to have them still left as "unread", so when I access my account via Outlook later, they would be downloaded there as well. I realize, that this would mean that I have to re-read them (or mark them as read) again but I would prefer to have ALL my mails in Outlook as well. Currently, if I read my mails via the SG-II but want to keep one of them also in Outlook (e.g for archiving purposes), I have to resend the mail to my second account (which is only polled by Outlook). I find this is most stupid and annoying!
PS.: I do NOT want to switch to IMAP for other reasons and my POP account has worked as I described with Windows Mobile before, so I don't see, why I can't have that same behavior with my Andorid device.
This is not an issue with any other android phone I've seen. I have an S6. this is when viewing any pic.

View 3 Replies View RelatedLooking to upgrade soon and might have the option of getting a phone with just 850 3g band and wanted to see if there was a way to test coverage locally. My blackjack does both so that doesn't help alone, and if I set it to 850 gsm it loses all signal. That might mean no 850 3g, but wanted to be sure that was the case and if not conclusive what I can do to see signals in the area.

View 2 Replies View Relatedi discovered several questionable pics in my hubby's laptop, and the exif data says they were taken by a blackberry 9800 (torch). Hubby says they're not his, and that they were his friend's, but I know his friend does not own a BB 9800. I want to check if there is any way you could download images from another data storage and have the exif tags changed to BBs...without the users knowing how it happened..

View 4 Replies View RelatedMany of you using DNG have noticed like me that the DNGs are missing the GPS encoding that the 5MP JPG has. This workaround makes use of the ExifTool by Phil Harvey and Microsoft's Powershell to quickly tag DNGs using the JPGs uploaded to your OneDrive Camera Roll (accessed via local folder path).
The following is the ps1 script that you run from the same directory where you save the ExifTool. Don't forget to remove the (-k) tag from the filename of the ExifTool.exe it has by default.
#Set the varibles below leaving the apostrophes
#Set the $CameraRoll to the file folder path to your OneDrive Camera Roll Path
$CameraRollPath = 'D:SkyDrivePicturesCamera Roll'

View 4 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Blackberry Storm 9530 four days ago. Since the purchase was made, one email tag remains in the upper left portion of the screen, and I cannot determine what the source of it is, and therefore, cannot delete it. I have checked every email, every voicemail, every Blackberry Messenger message, every text message (all coming in or going out), and everything in the phone in and out box coming in or going out. I cannot find the source of the tag anywhere. I even took the battery out and put it back in, but I cannot determine why the tag is there. Does anyone have any idea why it is doing this, and if so, how do I get rid of it? Thanks.
