View 4 RepliesI tried with both the standard email (error message could not download attachment)Â app and Nine (progress bar stops) it's not working anymore. I have deleted and re-installed Nine, deleted the email account and added it again, changed the email download size to all, countless restarts, unmount / mount SD card - nothing worked so far.
View 10 Replies View Relatedhave just got a Samsung Galaxy S2 and created my first document on Polaris office, saving it as a .doc file. But when copying it to my computer and trying to open it, up flashes a Microsoft Office File Validation security alert, saying that a problem has been detected in trying to open the file and that opening it is probably dangerous and may allow a malicious user to take over my computer.I'm aware that there are issues with MOFV over reading some file formats -- has anyone come across this? Is it that MOFV can't read Polaris files, or is there the possibility of something sinister going on? I've run two different antivirus programme scans (installed on two different computers) on this file, which haven't flagged anything.
View 3 Replies View RelatedA friend emailed me a couple of pdfs by attachment. I downloaded them and saved them, and opened them with Quickoffice. However, I cannot find them. They are not in the downloads folder, and when I open Quickoffice they do not appear in the Recent Files. The only way to find them is to go back to the original email. Where would they be stored? (One reason that I'd like to know is so that I can delete them: at the moment the only way seems to be to delete the email, which I don't want to do).

I have Gmail on my iPhone 4 (with Verizon). I'm having a problem where I cannot download picture attachments. It was working fine just a couple days ago, but now when I tap the download picture icon in the email, it will blink, and sometimes act like it's starting to download, then the icon will reappear, and nothing has happened.
I can forward the email again, including the original attachment, and then the picture shows up fine in the new email, but with the original one, I can't get the picture to appear.

I can't seem to download attachments from my Hotmail account. It was fine when I tried opening the email in html so that i can view the attachments, but when i tried downloading, it shows me the windows live page and says 'device not supported', so i can't download the attachments.
So does the E72 email client not allow attachments downloading or do i have to use the 3rd party windows live application to download attachments?
I have a brand new BB curve 9320 and it won't download email attachments unless I perform a battery pull. I've done a security wipe, re-installed service books, totally wiped and re-installed the operating software and installed a new Sim, nothing fixes it.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWe purchased two 9800 Torch phones and both are having the same issue. Word, Excel, and PDF files all open fine on the devices. However, some emails will be received with attachments but the phone does not give the open or download attachment options. If you forward the message from the device, the attachment will still be attached. The issue is intermittent and I have not been able to pin down any consistently as I have received several emails with attachments successfully. The emails that will not give the attachment options also do not have the little paperclip on the email icon from the messages view. Again, hen this exact email is forwarded the attachment will arrive at the destination.
BES version 4.1.7.19
Both users had no issues on prior devices with multiple attachments opened daily.
My e-mail is not working correctly on my phone. I have lots of ghost "No Sender" messages and it cannot download attachments anymore. I used to restart e-mail on my previous iPhone, but I don't know how to restart/re-launch it on the iPhone 5.Â

Where do I view my email attachments after I save them?
View 8 Replies View RelatedBut for now,I have a basic inquiry.i use aol email(accessed using tmobile web n walk) and need to access music i receive to work on .when i receive a mail over 5mb,i do not have the option to open or save it?why is this(even my old c902 had no limit as such)?also an attachment accessed via my laptop measured at say for instance,4.5mb(a fairly normal music file size) will be increased by 20% or so in size when accessing it via the X10?why?this is pushing most of the files over this 5mb limit(if there is indeed a limit)Would setting up a different email account make any difference or how i view/access my mail?are there any other settings i could change?ive contacted SE and they see no reason for it not to work 'in theory' but havnt actually guided me to any solution.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOn Android 2.1, how do I access and manage email attachments? I've sent myself a simple email with a simple MS Word attachment to a regular Pop email account: the inbox list display shows a paperclip against the item, but if I open the email there is no indication of an attachment. If I long press on the email header, there's a message 'cannot view attachment'. The same email sent to Gmail shows the attachment, with a 'preview' button. If I press that the attachment appears in a viewer of some sort (the browser?).
What can I do with an attachment, beyond just viewing it?
When sending large attachments (numerous pictures), the email stays in an endless loop in the outbox even though the email has been sent.(Recepient receives email, but the email stays in the outbox saying "email could not be sent")Also, when receiving emails with multiple pictures not all pictures are accessible, why?
