I've more than 700 contacts on my BB. Most of them are in sync with the old email address and 60+ are in sync with the new email address. If I download any application that has to do something with the contacts it only picks up the contacts. In sync with the new email. Please tell me the way to sync all the contacts with 1 email address.I'm using BB 9700 OS 6.Regards.

I can view the selection when I click on a contact (at the top above the contact name), but I am unable to change it. Is there a way to change which email the contact sync's to?
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry has worked fine for 13 months. Today I looked up a contact in Outlook on my laptop and I only had 11 instead of the 1200+ I used to have. I still have all the contacts on my device. When I synced my device with my laptop it only synced those 11 contacts. I can't get the other 1200+ into Outlook on my computer. Help!

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have just synced my new blackberry bold 9780 with my pc via the desktop software.The first time it synced no problem as all but I now have duplicate contacts for both email address's and now it wont sync at all. Comes up with an error saying yahoo server is temporary unavailable.This happened with my old blackberry too and I never did manage to get it solved as Vodafone was saying its Yahoo problem and yahoo was saying it was a vodafone problem.

So does anybody know of an easy way to sync my contacts FROM my blackberry TO my gmail contacts? I have google sync on my phone, but that only messed up my contacts by dumping a bunch of duplicates into my BB contacts and it doesnt seem to reverse sync. I have since deleted my gmail contacts so I dont suffer this fate again, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to reverse sync from BB to gmail.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Boss has 2 Blackberry phones , one is Blackberry torchand another one is Blackberry Bold 9000.Blackberry Torch is synced to company Blackberry server. The Blackberry Bold is not synced with the Blackberry server but has about 1000 contacts (200 in 1st contact folder and 800 and in the 2nd).when I check the contacts options I see 2 contact folders both named "Desktop". My Boss wants me to merge all these 1000 contacts with the contacts on his Blackberry Torch. When I back up the contacts from Bold to outlook only 200 contacts gets restored and the remaining 800 dont.
I am using following method to merge I intend to use following steps to merge the contacts from 2 phones
I backed up both the devicesI exported all the contacts from outlook to csv fileDeleted all the contacts from outlookSynced the contacts from Blackberry Bold to outlook but in this case only 200 contacts get synced and not the remaining 800.Export the outlook to csv againMerge the 2 csvs and import to outlook
Despite the new update to PC Companion, I still cannot sync my Contacts. I can synch my Bookmarks which shows the connection is there, and I have to say that I think the SE website needs a total overhaul. I get a lot of blank pages and have to constantly refresh.

View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday I decided to sync my iPhone to a different PC which my husband uses to sync his ipod. Before I sync-ed I upgraded itunes to v10. When I tried to sync however I noticed that the contacts section in the Info tab had nothing in the list (i.e. The title reads "Sync Contacts with " followed by a list but the list is empty) and when I click the Configure button nothing happens. Anyway I checked the option to sync contacts anyway but got an error saying "itunes was unable to load dataclass information from sync services."
Stupidly I then chose to restore my iphone as suggested in the Summary tab and thereby lost all of the contacts on my phone which I of course cannot sync back.

I use Outlook on my PC and need Outlook Connector to sync it (Outlook) to my email, contacts, and calendar.(that's a whole different rant there- why do I need special software to use a MS email account when it (Outlook) doesn't need it for gmail, yahoo, or another?)For whatever reason, the Tour will not sync ANYTHING with Outlook. The (**bleep**)Desktop Manager is no help as it doesn't recognize ANYTHING from Outlook- not email, not calendar, not contacts, etc.I am under the impression that somehow Outlook Connector messes things up. Fine. Whatever. I setup a MS Exchange email account and got it up and running, both on the PC and on the phone.Still nothing works. Oh sure my emails come through, but that's it. my contacts list doesn't sync, my calendar has zero events/tasks/appointments on it (it does but the phone doesn't think so). So I uninstalled and reinstalled and chose a work email address, but of course, no one tells you how to activate the damned phone to do this. View 19 Replies View RelatedI am using curve 9300. I installed blackberry desktop sw and tried to sync my outlook contacts. The sw read all the 745 contacts and asked me to accept or reject. So when I clicked on accept, it just copied 4 items without any contact details and just crashed and gave an error msg "unknown error". I tried to delete those contacts and it's not allowing me to do so without giving any msg. I don't even get a delete msg on the bb. I even tried to press on menu when I go to the contacts and it won't appear on those particular records. I rebooted the pc and the phone and tried again and got "error encountered, error code 0x80040fb3". I even uninstalled the application and tried ver 4 & 5. The result is the same. I am stuck with those records and can't delete them. Further 740 contact that can't have on my blackberry.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had a GS5 and I was able to sync facebook contacts to my device contact list with ease. However, I can't do the same with my GS6 Edge. Going to accounts-> facebook, only shows my account with a gray "refresh" bar saying " sync turned off" and it gives me no option to turn it on. Master Sync is turned on, and Sync from the main pulldown bar is turned on as well. I'm getting ready to chuck this phone at the wall cuz Im so frustrated. This was not an Issue with my GS5.

Contacts are auto-sync and now I have the same contact twice although in the "setting" "setup" I have untick the sync contact box I just do not understand why does that happen. I have use blackberry before but none of these happen this is so un-cool!

I don't want to use my gmail account to hold all my contacts because I used Outlook.com for emails. If i were to ever make a new contact on my phone, it then wouldn't sync with my windows live acct. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Nexus 6 that I absolutely love but I've just updated it to Lollipop and now my Gmail and Google Contacts are not syncing automatically. I've gone through all the settings about a million times and everything is setup properly. I'm currently using an app called Force Gmail Sync to keep my Google account synced up . It works great but I'd prefer to just be running Google apps on my phone and keep everything stock. I've tried a factory reset with no luck. Any secret way to set a sync frequency for Google's Gmail and Contacts apps without using a third party app?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a DroidX version 2.2.1 and I use Corporate email. When I type in a new Calendar event into the phone it sync's to Google fine but it does not sync to my Corp Calendar. The same happens for Contacts. Here's what I've found:
1) Phone to Google works
2) Phone to Corp does not work
3) Corp to Phone works
4) Corp to Google does not work
When I first setup the phone, I setup Corp email and Gmail and the sync worked well. Some time later I removed my Corp email account from the phone only to re-add it a couple weeks later. Since then, the sync does not work the way it once did. I have set the phone so that my Corp account is the default account. I receive email on the phone with no issues. I want my Corp Calendar/Contacts to match my phone no matter whether I enter them from the phone, Google or my Corp Desktop.
