My Blackberry has worked fine for 13 months. Today I looked up a contact in Outlook on my laptop and I only had 11 instead of the 1200+ I used to have. I still have all the contacts on my device. When I synced my device with my laptop it only synced those 11 contacts. I can't get the other 1200+ into Outlook on my computer. Help!

I am trying to sync my bold 9000 with my calender and contacts in outlook, had success with the calender but contacts don't show up in the address book. The heading in the address book is business-is that my problem or are the contacts located somewhere else.

My other organizer files synch okay. I am able to make calendar entries on my device and on Outlook but unable to synch calendars. I tried everything I could think of.

No matter what I do, when I sync the first round of results will show that most of my Outlook entries will be deleted. When I then choose Resync it does the sync correctly. I have deleted my BB calander and resynced by xferring all Outlook items to the device - sync again and the same problem occurs. All I want to do is a simple sync of all items both ways but somehow I cannot get it right. Any advise? Thx a lot
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I open an email on the BB and read it, it shows as being read on my PC, when I open email in outlook, it still shows unread on BB. Is there a setting I am missing somewhere? I would like to see the messages as read on my BB so I don't have to keep opening emails that I have already read.

I have just switched from a Windows Mobile phone to a BB 9000. I live in Cyprus and have subscribed to the local BIS service offered here. So I sync with my PC via USB cable. Everything seems to be working fine, apart from the calendar. It appears to sync, asks me to accept changes, which I do, but the new entries do not appear in my Outlook calendar. Am I missing something simple?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am using curve 9300. I installed blackberry desktop sw and tried to sync my outlook contacts. The sw read all the 745 contacts and asked me to accept or reject. So when I clicked on accept, it just copied 4 items without any contact details and just crashed and gave an error msg "unknown error". I tried to delete those contacts and it's not allowing me to do so without giving any msg. I don't even get a delete msg on the bb. I even tried to press on menu when I go to the contacts and it won't appear on those particular records. I rebooted the pc and the phone and tried again and got "error encountered, error code 0x80040fb3". I even uninstalled the application and tried ver 4 & 5. The result is the same. I am stuck with those records and can't delete them. Further 740 contact that can't have on my blackberry.

I lost all my info on the BB so had to sync with my old PC again..

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm done banging my head against a wall and have searched and searched on how to fix this, as although I'm a newbie to this site, I feel like I can generally navigate myself around my BB to fix issues here and there. This one, I cannot, for the life of me! Here's the situation: I had to wipe my entire BB Bold the other day. I did that successful, reloaded all my settings/applications and all was well and good, including syncing my Calendar and Contacts. I realized that my contacts were double, triple and sometimes quadropled during the syncing process, thus having the duplicates on both my device and Outlook. Not to mention, totally reconfigured my "File As" in my Outlook - but that's another topic. Issue at hand, after turning the Wireless Syncronization OFF, checking my Default services and following any advice here on the forums. I now can't get ANY of my contacts to sync from Outlook to my device. Except 2 random contacts. When I go to sync, it registers the address book and asks if I want to delete 8XX contacts from Outlook to Device, which I DON't!Anyway, long winded.

I would like to sync my contacts but currently have that setting turned to "off" because I want to add my Outlook contacts but not lose my contacts on my phone. When I sync my bb 9000 with outlook on my laptop, it automatically selects old appointments to be deleted. I want to retain my old appointments (they come in handy for my billing fees). If I select reject it does not sync updated details. How can I resolve this? Basically I do not want to delete any old appointments. I have selected the accept button and it wiped out all my old appointments.

I am running iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.1 Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit iTunes 10.6.1.7 Microsoft Outlook Professional Plus 2010 32-bit My Outlook calendar syncs just fine.
Also, I could not sync my contacts with Google either. Neither Outlook nor Google works. I have reinstalled iTunes and followed all of the directions found on this forum to no avail.
