When I sync my bb 9000 with outlook on my laptop, it automatically selects old appointments to be deleted. I want to retain my old appointments (they come in handy for my billing fees). If I select reject it does not sync updated details. How can I resolve this? Basically I do not want to delete any old appointments. I have selected the accept button and it wiped out all my old appointments.
I am new to Blackberry and this site which is rather overwhelming! I have what is probably a simple question but I can't figure it out. I have a Blackberry Bold 9780 with Software version 6.0.2.44. I sync with Outlook (Office Professional 2010). The Blackberry sync mode seems to delete calender entries on Outlook after about a month. I like to retain the entries but I cannot find an option on the sync set-up that stops this.
I'm using Outlook 2003 to sync with my BB Bold 9000 (OS v4.6.0.303). No matter what I do, when I sync the first round of results will show that most of my Outlook entries will be deleted. When I then choose Resync it does the sync correctly. I have deleted my BB calander and resynced by xferring all Outlook items to the device - sync again and the same problem occurs. All I want to do is a simple sync of all items both ways but somehow I cannot get it right. Any advise? Thx a lot
I cannot get my Outlook calender to sync to my 9700. For some reason on my phone in the Calendar it's showing my Facebook and Gmail calendars but no Outlook. I have Desktop Manager set to sync my Outlook calendar so I'm confused.
I've had the phone since January and spent about 15 hours searching and trying fixes but no luck so far. Everything else works great but it is incredibly frustrating and problematic not to have my calendar with me. i am attempting to sync by Outlook Calendar with my BB Bold 9900 using BB Desktop Software V. 7.0 Bundle 2406.The address book sync's but the software stalls on my calendar Intellsync error, 'connector specific error'.
I need to sync more than one outlook calendar with my Bold 9650. When I turn on wireless sync, only my main calendar syncs. When I turn it off and hook it up to my desktop, it syncs both calendars but not when I'm mobile so updates to the calendar don't show unless I reconnect to the PC.
I have a BB Bold 9000. ATT is my service provide.I successfully set up my gmail account as a separate email account on my BB. I had two email icons on my home page - one for corporate and the other for gmail. The emails were kept separate. After I installed the Gmail Enhanced App, my gmail started to sync into my corporate acct. I uninstalled botgh the enhanced app and the gmail account. When I went to reinstall gmail from the BB device, it resumed syncing into the corporate account. How can I keep these two accts separate?
When I open an email on the BB and read it, it shows as being read on my PC, when I open email in outlook, it still shows unread on BB. Is there a setting I am missing somewhere? I would like to see the messages as read on my BB so I don't have to keep opening emails that I have already read.
I have just switched from a Windows Mobile phone to a BB 9000. I live in Cyprus and have subscribed to the local BIS service offered here. So I sync with my PC via USB cable. Everything seems to be working fine, apart from the calendar. It appears to sync, asks me to accept changes, which I do, but the new entries do not appear in my Outlook calendar. Am I missing something simple?
My Blackberry has worked fine for 13 months. Today I looked up a contact in Outlook on my laptop and I only had 11 instead of the 1200+ I used to have. I still have all the contacts on my device. When I synced my device with my laptop it only synced those 11 contacts. I can't get the other 1200+ into Outlook on my computer. Help!
I am trying to sync my bold 9000 with my calender and contacts in outlook, had success with the calender but contacts don't show up in the address book. The heading in the address book is business-is that my problem or are the contacts located somewhere else.
I am using Outlook 2000 on windows XP. I am trying to synch my bb to the calendar only. However it does not come up wih the Outlook option to highlight. I have copied the screen below as an example. You can see Microsoft Outlook is an option here. However on my pc/bb it only offers me ASCII or Yahoo as an application option? Where am I going wrong?
My old phone - Samsung Omnia - had no problem synching with Outlook Calendar. Interestingly, if I tick the contacts box, it offers Outlook Express as an application?
I have a 9790 and have set up my email accounts without a problem. However, I now want to upload and sync my calendar, contacts and notes from Microsoft Outlook.I have spent 30 minutes on the phone with O2 who don't have a clue how to do this and cannot escalate.
I just got a new crackberry and found out that I can't sync with my work outlook email and calendar b/c it's on an exchange server. Is there a way around this?
I've been searching for an answer to this problem for about four days. I apologize if it's been asked and then answered, but I just can't find it in the forums.
I'll try to explain as much as I can. I have the Blackberry Bold through AT&T. I am a single user, not through a business, just me. While at home, my email (through at&t) comes to my BB. Once I arrive at work in the morning, I open up my Outlook (version 2003) and my email downloads from my BB. I have the option checked to NOT leave a copy on the server so it is now gone from my BB and housed in my Outlook. I like this setup. This is how I want it to work.
About 4 days ago the problem started. The emails still download to Outlook but won't disappear from my BB as before. I have to go in and delete it a second time on the BB. I don't use any type of sync with my email, it's just always been an automatic thing. I double checked and in my Outlook account it's still set to NOT leave a copy on the server.
Did something get corrupted? It's annoying to see that red LED light flashing only for an email I've already read on Outlook. Hate having to delete the same email twice.
Just got a 9700 to help re work but when syncing with Outlook 2002 the tasks do not appear under any categories. Is there a way of doing this, or is there an App that lets me?
I am trying to sync work calendars with multiple Blackberry bold 9900's. I have the blackberry desktop manager v 7.1 and I haven't made it passed the "configure" button not being usable. What I'm going for here is sharing my outlook calendar with everyone that needs it on their phones, then syncing this specific calendar to be viewable via their blackberry- so that when I make changes or add jobs they are able to see them. I connected the blackberry to the desktop... I clicked organizer... I went to click configure..... It's a ghost button. How do I make this button interactive again??
There are certain Outlook calendar requests I receive which I cannot accept, and it comes up as a ....."Application/X-rimdevicecalendar"...file on my BB, but I cannot accept the request.I have downloaded the latest BB Bold software, and have the same issue. A bunch of other forums have suggested this is an ICS file issue....don't know what that is, but not being able to see or download Outlook requests to by BB Bold is a pain.
I keep getting an error stating; "Unable to add account. Please check your information and try again."Now, I'm not sure what my Mailbox name is.I was told to log in on my computer's browser to my work email via Outlook Web Access and put the cursor over the inbox to read the name on the bottom of the screen. This is all it reads: "https://webmail.(companyname).com/owa/#. What do I use for the mailbox name?
Recently I have been unable to sync my Blackberry calendar with my Outlook 2010 calendar. I am getting a message "calendar not installed" when I synch my organizer files. My other organizer files synch okay. I am able to make calendar entries on my device and on Outlook but unable to synch calendars. I tried everything I could think of.
When I was running Vista I sucessfully synced my N97 to Office Outlook.

I want to sync my Outlook contacts with my HTC One but so far have not been able to do so. I tried HTC Sync with no luck, Any good (and not to complicated way) to get my contacts from Outlook to my phone?
Okay is there a way/procedure to allow the HTC lengend tp sync up with outer look on your PC via bluetooth? I know you can use the USB cable but on my old nokia all you had to do is have a bluetooth connection from the phone to the computer in order sync up witht the outlook. I would think such an advanced phone as the HTC legend would have such a feature? Love the phone otherwise
I'm considering moving over from a Nokia E63 to a HTC Legend and would like to know if the latter can effectively synchronize with MS Outlook - that is synchronize contacts MS Outlook Calendar, Email etc or do I have to use a third party program, export all this stuff over in some messy way?i use MS Outlook a lot for storing appts, information about events and emails & really need that available as I have in the E63. I also want an Android Phone for it's effective ability for web access, multimedia viewing and so I can effectively modify its functionality.
My iPhone 5s was recently upgraded to iOS 8. Since then it will not sync the Calendar items on the iPhone up to Outlook 2010 on my Windows 7 computer, through iTunes. I am connected by USB cable to the computer.Â
What I have tried:I upgraded iTunes to 12.0.1.26 this eveningI have rebooted the iPhone and the computerÂ
Calendar items on the iPhone will not upload to Outlook.Â
Items in Outlook will sync DOWN to the iPhone.Â
I have generally been very successful over the last 11 months although the Conflict Resolver has been crashing for about six months. Will post separately on that!
Info: iPhone 5s, iOS 8.1.1, Windows 7 desktop, iTunes 12.0.1.26
Why can't RIM develop a Bold 9xxx with the body of the Bold 9000 with larger memory, Trackpad, better camera? They've done it with the Tour and Curve. Plus they've got all the parts available already, just need a little engineering to fit the trackpad and everything else. C'mon RIM. We know you can do it. I'm sure you'd sell millions of them.
