Despite the new update to PC Companion, I still cannot sync my Contacts. I can synch my Bookmarks which shows the connection is there, and I have to say that I think the SE website needs a total overhaul. I get a lot of blank pages and have to constantly refresh.

I've worked out how to manually sync contacts profile pics from FB onto my contacts list, but it won't let me do it on my own contact details. (Basically, in text messaging, pics of my contacts are there, but I can't link mine to do the same).
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy Boss has 2 Blackberry phones , one is Blackberry torchand another one is Blackberry Bold 9000.Blackberry Torch is synced to company Blackberry server. The Blackberry Bold is not synced with the Blackberry server but has about 1000 contacts (200 in 1st contact folder and 800 and in the 2nd).when I check the contacts options I see 2 contact folders both named "Desktop". My Boss wants me to merge all these 1000 contacts with the contacts on his Blackberry Torch. When I back up the contacts from Bold to outlook only 200 contacts gets restored and the remaining 800 dont.
I am using following method to merge I intend to use following steps to merge the contacts from 2 phones
I backed up both the devicesI exported all the contacts from outlook to csv fileDeleted all the contacts from outlookSynced the contacts from Blackberry Bold to outlook but in this case only 200 contacts get synced and not the remaining 800.Export the outlook to csv againMerge the 2 csvs and import to outlook

I've more than 700 contacts on my BB. Most of them are in sync with the old email address and 60+ are in sync with the new email address. If I download any application that has to do something with the contacts it only picks up the contacts. In sync with the new email. Please tell me the way to sync all the contacts with 1 email address.I'm using BB 9700 OS 6.Regards.

I still have all the contacts on my device. When I synced my device with my laptop it only synced those 11 contacts. I can't get the other 1200+ into Outlook on my computer. Help!

View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday I decided to sync my iPhone to a different PC which my husband uses to sync his ipod. Before I sync-ed I upgraded itunes to v10. When I tried to sync however I noticed that the contacts section in the Info tab had nothing in the list (i.e. The title reads "Sync Contacts with " followed by a list but the list is empty) and when I click the Configure button nothing happens. Anyway I checked the option to sync contacts anyway but got an error saying "itunes was unable to load dataclass information from sync services."
Stupidly I then chose to restore my iphone as suggested in the Summary tab and thereby lost all of the contacts on my phone which I of course cannot sync back.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using curve 9300. I installed blackberry desktop sw and tried to sync my outlook contacts. The sw read all the 745 contacts and asked me to accept or reject. So when I clicked on accept, it just copied 4 items without any contact details and just crashed and gave an error msg "unknown error". I tried to delete those contacts and it's not allowing me to do so without giving any msg. I don't even get a delete msg on the bb. I even tried to press on menu when I go to the contacts and it won't appear on those particular records. I rebooted the pc and the phone and tried again and got "error encountered, error code 0x80040fb3". I even uninstalled the application and tried ver 4 & 5. The result is the same. I am stuck with those records and can't delete them. Further 740 contact that can't have on my blackberry.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had a GS5 and I was able to sync facebook contacts to my device contact list with ease. However, I can't do the same with my GS6 Edge. Going to accounts-> facebook, only shows my account with a gray "refresh" bar saying " sync turned off" and it gives me no option to turn it on. Master Sync is turned on, and Sync from the main pulldown bar is turned on as well. I'm getting ready to chuck this phone at the wall cuz Im so frustrated. This was not an Issue with my GS5.

I have added my facebook accounts and made sure the filters are correctly set, I have synced the facebook account several times manually, but no profile pictures nor any facebook related data is shown in the contacts.
After the update to 2.1 last year, i have not been able to sync my contacts with SE sync and Gmail contacts sync. Everytime i try syncing from the phone i get an error. I did not bother because i assumed that gmail automatically syncs. Over the weekend i used SEUS to repair the phone, after which, my contacts were automatically downloaded from gmail. This morning i tried calling one of my contacts and realised they are not on my phone. Manually checked my Gmail contacts and realised most of my contacts were missing. I deleted all contacts on gmail and requested a fresh sync. Everything except my contacts gets synced. The same is the case with SE sync. Has anyone noticed this? Is there a way to correct this?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI got some kind of problem with duplicate even triplicate contacts on the pc when i log into SE sync so i press the button on screen to merge contacts and it just says there are no duplicates to merge but they are there I can see them. And when I syn with my phone the contacts list of the phone is totally different to my contacts list on the SE contacts sync on the pc, like in the list on the PC there could be 3 contacts but on the phone there is just 1 - yet after the sync it says sync was succesful I just dont get it.

1) How could I have avoided this problem?
2) How can I get my contacts back? They are not in my google contacts.
3) Is there any way to turn off the sync order in Ericsson Sync so that the latest update does NOT overwrite the other. The trouble is that if I am to add all my lost contacts "by hand" in Ericsson Sync, and thereafter delete the few contacts still on my phone, then the deletion is the latest event - and that will overwrite my additions in Ericsson Sync... I am really bothered by this Ericsson Sync - I can´t really se the point of it, have I missed something?
When new contact is created there is option either to create it as local (no sync) or as synced on account.Once there are local contacts created there is no option to sync it with an account.I have quite a few and do not like to retype all.
