I have set up an account on the SE website and set the same username and password in the sony ericsson synch settings in the phone.The server address for synch in the phone is [url]... this cannot be changed by the keyboard.when I press sync i get the notification "sony ericsson could not synchronise" Synchronisation seems to work ok with Gmail and facebook, although contact sync with gmail is not nuch use as it only seems to work from pc to phone
Xperia X10 :: Sync Phone Address Book With SE Web Sync?
Sep 12, 2010If I fill out the address and birthday fields on the web site contacts page. Sync to my phone fails. If I fill out the address field on my phone, then it doesn't complete the relevent fields on the web site. The address fields on the web site are different to the phone and fields on the site are not supported by the phone's address book.
It seems like the two are running different software and are slightly incompatible

Apr 26, 2012I wanted to update my software to the latest version so before i did that i made sure i synced/backed up my phone. Then i restored my phone from back up only to find that my contacts have all dissapeared. Why?
All my apps, calender, notes, photos etc have appeared except for my contacts.

I've worked out how to manually sync contacts profile pics from FB onto my contacts list, but it won't let me do it on my own contact details. Jun 4, 2012I'm a new Motoactv owner. Today is the first time I tried to sync my workouts and view them online. It takes a very long time to complete the sync (5-10 minutes). The first time it supposedly synced, my workouts were not uploaded to the site. When I log onto the website, that is also incredibly slow. Every link I click takes extraordinarilly long. When I try to view my work out, I get an error ("Internal Error has occurred..."), and it tells me to log out and log back in. But that doesn't result in anything different.

Apr 4, 2010I've just gotten a Bold 9700 and noticed that even though I have the option to sync the profile pictures of my friends with my contacts profiles on the phone, the pictures for my phone contacts remain blank. The Facebook profiles are linked to my contacts and sometimes will show the Facebook profile picture but after a while the picture reverts to a blank icon again. I've also unselected the option to sync and re-enabled the option to update Blackberry contacts with my Facebook contacts to try and force the pictures to update but no success.
I was thinking that it might also be because of a conflict wiyth other apps trying to update the contact pictures seeing as I originally imported all my contatcs from my Gmail account but I am unable to figure out which other apps, if any, are updating contact pics and thereby turn them off.
Blackberry contacts linked to a LinkedIn profile show their LinkedIn profile pics correctly though and other than that I only have BB Messenger, GTalk, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook that are linked to my Blackberry contacts.Any ideas on how I can get my contacts' pictures to sync correctly with Facebook?

Oct 11, 2010After the update to 2.1 last year, i have not been able to sync my contacts with SE sync and Gmail contacts sync. Everytime i try syncing from the phone i get an error. I did not bother because i assumed that gmail automatically syncs. Over the weekend i used SEUS to repair the phone, after which, my contacts were automatically downloaded from gmail. This morning i tried calling one of my contacts and realised they are not on my phone. Manually checked my Gmail contacts and realised most of my contacts were missing. I deleted all contacts on gmail and requested a fresh sync. Everything except my contacts gets synced. The same is the case with SE sync. Has anyone noticed this? Is there a way to correct this?

Aug 31, 2010From time to time, I experience that my Xperia X10 does not automatically sync e-mail accounts (using the supplied/standard e-mail application). I've set up a number of e-mail acocunts (6) with different update rates ranging from 15 to 60 minutes. I can go in to one of the accounts, whereby it syncs and I can see that I have received a number of new e-mails (for a period more than 6-12 hours, without receiving any type of notification.
This is really annoying since I miss important emails. What can be done to ensure that they sync automatically and that I receive notifications?
