I wanted to update my software to the latest version so before i did that i made sure i synced/backed up my phone. Then i restored my phone from back up only to find that my contacts have all dissapeared. Why?
All my apps, calender, notes, photos etc have appeared except for my contacts.

I just sold my 3gs and I want to make sure I dont have to do anything with my contacts in order for them to sync back up with my iphone 4 when it gets here. Will it automatically just do this or do I need to do something before I restore my 3gs?

In sheer frustration to try and separate my phone contact from my windows live contacts, I deleted several contacts from my Windows Phone and this has also subsequently deleted the contacts off MSN Messenger (yes I now know that they are synced).
I then logged onto the Windows Live homepage and was able to undelete the contacts but they are not re-appearing on MSN Messenger. I can see the contacts re-appear on my Windows Phone and on the Manage My Contacts page of Windows Life.
First I bought a new laptop and got on that day a new router. With the WiFi Music Sync was okay until last night. Suddenly I was able to sync any data. The iTunes playlists are no longer displayed in the BlackBerry Media Player and my BlackBerry can not longer connect to WiFi Desktop Manager. It is only through the USB connection. But after the USB connection is missing, as I said, the playlists. If I delete the WiFi application on my BlackBerry, I see now the playlists. I use the Desktop Manager 6.0, as the Speedport 722V router, a torch with the software 6.0.0.448

yesterday, i download an apps, ringtone designer (free version), and then i create a ringtone, which is good. However, when i sync the rigntone back to my computer, it said it will going to delete all my music( i thought i can sync the back to the computer, so i click yes). I have an IPhone that syncs to my Outlook 2010 via Exchange. The email and calendar syncs automatically. I would like to sync my contacts but currently have that setting turned to "off" because I want to add my Outlook contacts but not lose my contacts on my phone. I can't sync my iPhone and back up my data with my computer because iTunes says to enter the passcode into my iPhone to unlock it, but I am unable to unlock and enter in my passcode on my iPhone because the screen is shattered. I just bought an iPhone 5c and the dealer manually transferred all of my (gmail) contacts from my Samsung Galaxy. Now the contacts on my iPhone are no longer synced with my gmail account. If I make changes to a contact on my iPhone, that change does not show up on my laptop when I am logged into my gmail account.Â
Can I fix this by turning "on" the "Contacts" button under Settings > mail, contacts, calendars > Gmail > contacts > on?Â
