Sep 27, 2011just bought a new Bold 9900 and installed it. something strange though. I am able to receive and send email however i am unable to open any incoming emails.

I was able to open an email setup confirmation from Blackberry but that is it. In addition I cannot surf the web or connect to the web. Verizon told me a defective phone but all else seems to work fine.Could it be a firmwear upgrade?

Opening and closing an email sent to a distribution list containing 2301 members is very slow. When opening an email with a distribution list of 6443 members, the email application hangs for awhile and then closes.

I have found out that the Attachment Service is no longer installed on my handset & when connected to the Desktop Manager it is not in the application list so there is no option to install it. Aug 17, 2011I needed to setup a secondary email addy with RogersWireless yesterday and while I was there I got the bright idea to change my password for my primary account.This totally screwed my BB (no more email being received) sent me an email saying I needed to verify my password.tried to go into Setup to access my email settings..my BB freezes and I have to shut it down and re-start.Next bright idea...go to Messages Options then try to access email settings that way...message comes up and says "Unable to open email setup application. Contact your wireless service provider."Now I'm not saying I don't enjoy spending an afternoon chatting with Rogers but is there anyway to fix this without having to waste an afternoon?
