I have two email accounts on my Bold and periodically it will not allow me to open emails. I can see new emails received but when I try to open it won't. Is this a space issue? Is there a way to purge deleted messages, when I had my Curve there was a way to purge deleted items.
View 5 Repliesi got a blackberry bold 9700 for christmas and i've been having only one problem with the phone. Sometimes when I've been having a conversation, through sms text messages, with someone I will be randomly unable to open a newly received sms text message and cannot open it for a while. I got it checked and they gave me a new phone, and this one is doing the same thing. Sometimes i can't open it for 10 mins and then sometimes i have to delete it because it's been over 2 hours. this is getting really annoying and more and more frequent. does anyone know what i should do? cause the bell people dont even know.

I have following three mail accounts configured with my device;
1) Enterprise/ Office Mail ID (Folder Named as Desktop)
2) Yahoo Mail ID (Folder Named as Yahoo)
3) GMail ID (Folder Named as GMail)
Now in the Messages, Yahoo & SMS Folders; I am only able to view the mails from office mail id. The Messages folder which ideally comprise of messages from all the folders shows only the messages of the Desktop. Similarly for the Yahoo Folder. I am even not able to view my SMS in the SMS & MMS Folder.
I have a BlackBerry Curve 8900. Off late, I am not able to open all mails on my device. Some open but many do not. I do not remember changing any settings on my device for the same. When I click the trackball to open, nothing happens and it hangs up. I use the back button then.

I connected my BlackBerry with the wireless router it says that it's connected, but there is a dash and I can't activate the Internet nor getting mails.
It is very strange as it worked till 24 hours ago. by the way, I'm using a portable PC with wifi connection which works very well.
All was fine with my BB before I switched to an iPhone 2 weeks ago, then back to my same BB Bold 9780 unlocked. All was find before the regretfull move. View 2 Replies View RelatedOn my Blackberry bold 9000 since last night (approximately) I have not been receiving e-mails however I am still able to send e-mails.On the diagnostics check everything came back as yes apart from connected to e-mail, however this is the first time this has happened and I have confirmed that I have entered the correct log in details. Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening as I would have thought that if I wasn't connected to my e-mail account that I would not have been able to send e-mails? View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a brand new E7 configured with my corporate Exchange 2003 server account and my private gmail. E7 runs the most current SW P1.1 014.002.263.03.Mail/calendar/contacts sync works but opening a received mail with any attachment listed (even how tiny, like 1kb jpeg) on the mail application takes ages. If I click on a message on the mail list it can take upto 30 seconds before the screen shows the message. During the time the phone freezes, even the hardware buttons are not responding. The symptom is the same on Exchange and Gmail accounts. Messages not having any attachments open in about 4 secs. I have tried to delete the accounts etc. but no joy.The mails are received as push, I have tried also scheduled receiving, offline mode etc. but the speed is the same. Is anyone else seeing this and is there anything to be done? The speed of the mail application is so poor that it prevents me to use the E7 as the business phone.
