Since this morning I am unable to open any notifications (whatsapp, bbm, facebook, etc) via the touchscreen! I must physically press the trackpad button to view all messages. Is it a setting that changed by itself? I only received this phone 2 weeks ago.

my recent mail from eBay to my Blackberry 9900 won't open! I get the coloured envelope on my email list to show that an ebay message has been sent. When I try to open this envelope, the phone takes me straight to compose a new email. This happens whether I try to open the mail from the message notifier along the top of my home screen, or if I use the email icon on the tool bar.

Sometimes when I've been having a conversation, through sms text messages, with someone I will be randomly unable to open a newly received sms text message and cannot open it for a while. I got it checked and they gave me a new phone, and this one is doing the same thing. Sometimes i can't open it for 10 mins and then sometimes i have to delete it because it's been over 2 hours. this is getting really annoying and more and more frequent. does anyone know what i should do? cause the bell people dont even know.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI was using my phone normaly and then later on I went to send a text message and I was unable to use the qwerty row of the touchscreen. at first I thught it was a glitch on the text message section of the phone. But afterwards I discovered that even on the home screen that that area was totally unresponsive.The area is a horizontal area that goes all the way accros the touchscreen area it is about 1cm in height in portrait mode. The same area is unresponsive ene in landscpae mode.I dont know what to do, I've only had it for about two months so it is very new, im really upset about this issue. I live in the Uk and I dont really want to send it in for repairs becasue of the horror stories that I've heard about the waiting times!

It's been a bit funny from time to time, but near Christmas it turned itself off and the camera stopped working. In January, the touchscreen started to become unresponsive and difficult to operate, to the point where I am often unable to get into the phone. And typing a text / navigating around the menu is an absolute nightmare. I've tried to calibrate the screen, but that doesn't help, as it doesn't recognise that it's being touched sometimes.I haven't dropped the phone or got it wet. I don't use the internet on it either, so I presumably can't have a virus.Would it still be under warranty? I've had nothing but trouble with it and it certainly reinforces the notion of 'buy cheap, buy twice'.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I am viewing an SMS conversation, with lets say someone named bob, and bob sends me another message, it does not beep if I am still in the bob sms window. I get no notification. To get a notification I have to back out or lock the screen each time.
Sometimes I sit my phone down waiting for a reply and when it beeps I know I have a reply. however, with the s6 I am forced to back out of mine and bob's chat window each and every time just so I can receive the notification beep again to know when he has replied. Is there a way to fix this? Or am I forced to use a 3rd party app (not preferred)
both my notifications and home page open up at the same time instead of seperately and it isnt possible to open notifications through this i have to go on to the actual application to do it, how to change this so they both open seperately and work?

1st problem: I moved from german to sweden recently, and now whenever I get messages from my german friends and a notification comes at the top of the screen, i click on it and it goes to a new message instead of opening the conversation.Â
2nd problem: I also have to save my friends' numbers twice under mobil and iphone once with 0 and once with +49 because otherwise it just shows their number instead of the name i have saved in my phone.

I have to do a physical battery pull and then it starts working again. Only about 2 days ago I bought a new Blackberry Bold 9900 with Virgin Mobile and unfortunately I had it resting on a table when a dart landed on top of the screen while I was away. Sadly, now the screen is cracked in the upper left area and the touchscreen is completely irresponsive. I can still see everything on the screen and manuever using the buttons. Along with this, when I run my hand across the crack, I cannot even feel it, so the crack seems to be under the initial protective coating.

Then at the moment I plug my charger cable into my phone (at battery level 15) it reboots and after the reboot the touchscreen no longer works. Then I upgraded Whatsapp and rebooted my phone again to see if it is fixed, but it still isn't the touchscreen simply doesn't work... It doesn't respond when I press on screen icon or scroll or whatever I do.
