IPhone :: Make New Apple Podcasts App Download Podcasts Over Wifi?
Jun 26, 2012There isn't a specific forum for this in the iOS Apps category so I am putting it here.I just downloaded the new Apple Podcasts app to my iPhone 4S.[URL]I have figured out how to find and subscribe to the podcasts I normally listen to but I am not sure how to get the podcasts to download over wifi so I can listen to them later.Don't want to burn up my data plan streaming podcasts when I'm on the road.The description says that you can do this, "Stream episodes or download to listen while offline" but I am not sure if it is happening.There is no visual clue to let me know that the casts are downloading or not.Do I just need to be patient? Or am I doing something wrong.

When I sync to my iPhone, four of these appear in iTunes>Podcasts and the other two appear in Videos>Podcasts.
(a) Why don't they all appear in the same place?
(b) How can I make them all appear in the same place?

Apr 21, 2010Within the music player on a 5800XM, how can I control the ordering of podcasts when using the Podcasts->By Title search option with the music player...? What this currently does is orders these is the newest first order, where as if you a listening to a radio drama (like me, who listens to the Archers approx twice a week)
you want these to be in the oldest first order!

Jul 20, 2010I have just installed the Media Go s/w for my new Experia phone (as I want to use it to play podcasts to replace my aging Zune) Trouble is when I ran the set up of Media Go, it found all my music and podcasts but sees them ALL as music (and has put nothing into the Podcasts menu (LHS panel) and found a way to make them go to the right place?
Also, when I almost gave up and tried to just set them all up again by subscribing to them insode Media Go, the choice is REALLY limited, so is no use either.
BB Bold :: Unable To Open Notifications Via Touchscreen
Jun 20, 2012Since this morning I am unable to open any notifications (whatsapp, bbm, facebook, etc) via the touchscreen! I must physically press the trackpad button to view all messages. Is it a setting that changed by itself? I only received this phone 2 weeks ago.

May 12, 2012I have an iPhone 3gs 16gig and the I broke the screen, the digitizer worked for a while so I just kept using it with the cracks on it. after the digitizer stopped working I did a full backup and went in to a local shop and had the screen and digitizer replaced. I then came home and did a restore and that gave me ios5.1. The phone worked great for a day then the touch screen started to stop working after about 10-30 seconds of use. I cant do anything with the phone without having to lock the screen and unlock it (sometimes that works, and sometimes I have to do that a few times because the touch screen doesn't work to unlock the phone) to continue using my phone.I am thinking it is because I upgraded to ios5.1, or is it a bad digitizer?

Dec 4, 2014I have an iphone 4s that is less than 2years old. The service warranty has expired. A few days ago the lock/sleep/power button stopped working so I had to access the assistive touch icon to lock the phone. Now, the assistive touch button works when I touch the screen (I can move it around) but my phone will not slide to unlock, let me open the camera by sliding up or let me open the flashlight/brightness panel from the bottom. I cannot reset my phone because the lock button stopped working. My contract is up in February so I cant buy a new phone

Feb 6, 2012I have a severe Nokia C7 problem. I woke up yesterday and found out that the phone touchscreen is not working while it is always locked. I tried several solutions but it didn't work. I tried to do a hard reset. Now the phone is asking me for a language setup but the screen is not responsive at all.

Dec 17, 2012Bought a SK17i about 1 year ago, I was perfectly happy.. Then after some time the touchscreen responded slower as normal. Helpdesk advised to do system update. Problem seemed solved, but returned after some time again. I removed pictures and movies and emptied out the inbox, phone worked normal. Last month it just failed on me, it just stopped working.. I get no respons from the touchscreen, tried recalibrating & system update & even hard reset ( advised by sony helpdesk) without result! When I slide it open to use the keyboard, the display flips and I can navigate with the arrows ect so the phone seems still fully functional except for the touch screen

Jun 15, 2015I rinsed my phone under the tap today because someone got chocolate icing on the screen. I didn't submerse it in water and i haven't dropped it. I simply ran it under the tap for no more than 5 seconds then dried it on my shirt and now the touchscreen doesnt work.
I made sure the flaps were closed and i've checked the indicators, on both sides they are yellow/white and not pink.
I'm trying a repair through the computer as restarting the phone has done nothing.

Sadly, now the screen is cracked in the upper left area and the touchscreen is completely irresponsive. I can still see everything on the screen and manuever using the buttons. Along with this, when I run my hand across the crack, I cannot even feel it, so the crack seems to be under the initial protective coating.

May 7, 2015I use Xperia Z2 and SCR10 cover. There is a protective glass, but problem was before I started to use that glass. A firmware is the last 23.4.A.1.232, but problem began earlier (about two months ago).
During a phone conversation the cover Scr10 is closed, the screen is switched off (no lighting). But a touchscreen is still working, and by my ear I press the buttons on the display (lighting of screen is turned off!!!), I start programs, I open the top bar, I come into settings (most often in power management, because battery is on center of top bar), etc.

Apr 28, 2012I recently dropped my phone about 2 feet and the screen cracked a bit in the upper right-hand corner. The phone has been fine for about a week since the incident, no problems at all. Yesterday I noticed there was some slight bugginess with regards to the touchscreen. I turned it off then back on, and it began to be unresponsive entirely, so I put the phone away and ignored it for a minute. I try again and it works just fine. A few minutes later, the same issue happened again, but I had no luck just ignoring it. I am unable to unlock my phone at all. I can still navigate through the power options just fine using the d-pad. I tried connecting it to a computer and to a power source and had no luck with that either. The phone won't charge and won't mount on a computer.

At the beginning I thought that the screen was malfunctioning or it was broken but for some reason when I connect my device to my PC the part that is not working changes and the part that was not working before is working. There are times when the entire screen is not working and there are times when the entire screen is working properly. I tried to reinstall the software of my device by wiping the memory and then installing the os using Loader but it didn't work at all.
