Took my phone apart to switch cases last night and when I put it all back together it doesn't recognize any touch inputs. I thought I was very careful, didn't pry on anything just let the case splitting tool do its job. The phone powers up and the screen looks fine, but no touch or swipe is recognized.

I had someone swap out the Bluetooth chip for a working one and it still doesn't work. Ive tried updating it and hard resetting it as well... I am exasperated and running out of options.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe official Twitter app stop working completely? This has happen about 4 times within a month and the only resolution I came up with is to uninstall and reinstall. I tried soft reset but that doesn't work. The app icon is there but it is faded out and "unclickable". It's real frustrating to have to uninstall and reinstall multiple every time this happens.

1. In the whatsapp application, when you choose "take a picture" in the attachment tab, the camera flash always light up for focusing even you inhibited in setting.
2. When using lumia camera, cant share photo via whatsapp in the pic review tab.
My Nokia Lumia 1520 power button has suddenly stopped working. Things I have already tried are soft reset and hard reset without luck. I don't have the chive app installed which was supposed to cause this issue sometime ago. Also, I can do a soft reset - which means the power button works in some situations, just not with normal on/off operation.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSeveral times per day, my screen just stops working. The LCD portion of the screen still turns on and off, but it won't recognize any touches. The only way out is a soft reset, since I can't swipe down to turn the phone off, then it works again. I have the Windows 10 preview installed, if that matters.
I'm thinking that it's a hardware issue, but I'm not 100% on that, since a soft reset temporarily solves the problem.
I also tried a hard reset and that had me hopeful, because it worked most of the day, then the issue returned in the evening.
looks like my notifications for Outlook are no longer working. I have a notification sound setup as well as "show in action center" enabled and "show notification banners" checked. This was working previously but a day or so ago I decided to do a hard reset and clean install of everything and after that I haven't been receiving the Outlook notifications. All other notifications that I have setup within the action center are working correctly.
So far I've tried re-syncing the Outlook account, unchecking it to sync and then rechecking, multiple soft resets, unchecking the action center settings for Outlook and nothing has worked.
Is there a known issue with getting the artist and album artwork to show up in xbox music on the 1520.3, or is it just my phone? I thought it was because I put the songs on via usb rather than buying through xbox music, but I transferred them to my wife's icon and they worked as they should.

However, when i tried to factory reset my phone to change region and make Cortana work (before the factory reset i cannot open cortana even when i change region), suddenly the access point and internet sharing didn't work anymore, the operator always show inactive. Moreover, on the top of the screen next to the operator and wifi icon it has a sim tray icon. I've tried couple ways such as restart the phone, update or reinstall the access point but it doesn't fix the issue.

The actual apps do not appear in the notifications + actions, as an option. I cannot turn on the notifications at all ! When I open Whatsapp I receive a message saying the following: Whatsapp detected an issue with your phone that will prevent you from recieving new message notifications. Please reboot your phone.

Just noticed that my front facing cam isn't working when I toggle it in the menu, both on phone's cam and Nokia cam. The screen appears black momentarily, and then it revert to homescreen.
I am not sure if it was this way when on W8.0 'cos I didn't test it then.

When you were playing music, the artist picture would show on the tile and then have the name of the artist running across the tile. Looked really nice and smooth.
Since the update though there is nothing. The tile just shows the headphones...
The lock screen button in my Lumia 1520 is not working. I cannot unlock the screen by pressing it but I can switch it off by holding it for a few seconds. I already did a couple of soft resets but the problem is still there. I can't do ah hard reset at this moment.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my Lumia 610 with charger, Its touch screen gets stuck. It does not allow me to unlock the phone by sliding the wallpaper upside. When I disconnect charger then it works like anything. I had also noted that some times, the wallpaper keeps jumping and suddenly slides upside and random applications gets started. But again when I remove the charger then it works normally. Is there any issue regarding the USB connector?
View 3 Replies View RelatedSometimes my touchscreen freezes up when im unlocking the phone, it may happen when sliding up the lock screen or when entering the password i set for it to unlock.I have to turn my screen off and back on again to get it to work properly again.It's not a huge problem, but it gets irritating when receiving a call and not being able to answer it without turning your screen off and on.
This started happening recently, already tried a factory reset which didnt work obviously.Deleted all applications i had installed, and made sure all applications were closed properly by using the back button.
