Lumia 1520 :: Phone Front Facing Camera Not Working

Just noticed that my front facing cam isn't working when I toggle it in the menu, both on phone's cam and Nokia cam. The screen appears black momentarily, and then it revert to homescreen.
I am not sure if it was this way when on W8.0 'cos I didn't test it then.

Feb 11, 2015When I upgraded to DP 8.1, I developed a couple of problems that I had hoped Denim would resolve. For example, my camera button stopped working. Also, I lost the function to hold my finger on the screen to move the cursor around in text. So I can't edit messages very easily. I was hoping these were issues with the DP version and Denim would resolve the problems. But I loaded the upgrade this morning, and none of these issues are resolved. I still can't use the camera button. And I still get hold my finger on the screen to get a cursor.

Dec 24, 2012So my lumia 920 is 10 days old and Ive noticed a lot of dust under the glass of the FFC.
- I have read a lot of the posts here. Some people claim its the dust entering through the ear vent.
- I used a cannister of pressurised air onit today - and it indeed cleared all the dust out of the camera.
Where did the dust go? I read soemwhere that this blown out dust can wind up under the screen..Could it also end up obstructing the proximity sensor and mess up calls (blanking screen out)?

Sep 11, 2013My 1020's FFC has been working fine until yesterday when I tried to use the FFC and it just showed a black screen and you couldn't press any buttons on the screen, I just had to go back to the home screen to do anything else. The regular camera is working fine. Proximity sensor seems to working fine as well. I have done a soft reset with no luck, about to do a hard reset... It's not a huge deal but I do like my phone to be working at 100%!

Jun 19, 2015Lumia 1520 used to be flawless connecting to the paired Bluetooth in my car. Nothing has changed in the car. No updates or upgrades.
After the Denim update the phone will sometimes connect, and then after 1 or 2 successful connections, it will fail to connect although it still shows as paired. A reboot or re-pairing usually solves the issue and the cycle repeats.

Android tablets and iPhones having no issues connecting. Have restarted the router, verified MAC Address. Deleted MAC from access control. Disabled all security (made it an open network) and it still will not connect.

Cortana comes up often and I have to turn off the screen and then turn it back on for the screen to actually work. I have tried hard resetting it...both from the Lumia Software Recovery Tool and from the phone itself. It still does the same thing.

Jul 20, 2014I just purchased the htc one today, and have loved it so far. Until I sensed it was time for a selfie, and then frustration set in. The first picture I took with the front camera I noticed my head had grown about 3 times its normal size. Like all good selfie takers, I naturally raise my phone to take the picture, but the distortion does not happen when taking a picture straight on. It distorts at the bottom, and top of the picture, and also gets very dark in the same places and unnaturally light in the middle of the frame. The picture quality is also very grainy and slightly blurry.
