Jan 19, 2016Right after taking a picture (sometimes, but not all of the time) I can see the picture but cannot pinch zoom it. This drives me nuts! Especially if I need to snap a quick picture of something like a nameplate on a device and then zoom to read the info.

It feels like is not using hardware acceleration or something, for example when I pinch to zoom in chrome or the stock ics browser it feels really smooth, but when I do the same from the gallery app, or camera app, it is totally slow.

Also the pinch/zoon works fine on the internet but differently when on photos that i have taken. You cannot pinch, to zoom you have to drag your finger up and it vibrates when you touch the screen and a white streak comes up on the pic while you are draging your finger, visa verse to zoom out.

I'm running 8.1 DP but I don't believe I was having this issue before and I don't believe I have had any recent big falls or jolts to the phone that might cause mechanical problems and I believe the zoom works fine in still pictures.

I don't have the chive app installed which was supposed to cause this issue sometime ago. May 18, 2015Several times per day, my screen just stops working. The LCD portion of the screen still turns on and off, but it won't recognize any touches. The only way out is a soft reset, since I can't swipe down to turn the phone off, then it works again. I have the Windows 10 preview installed, if that matters.
I'm thinking that it's a hardware issue, but I'm not 100% on that, since a soft reset temporarily solves the problem.
I also tried a hard reset and that had me hopeful, because it worked most of the day, then the issue returned in the evening.
Lumia 1520 :: Outlook Notification Are No Longer Working
Aug 1, 2014looks like my notifications for Outlook are no longer working. I have a notification sound setup as well as "show in action center" enabled and "show notification banners" checked. This was working previously but a day or so ago I decided to do a hard reset and clean install of everything and after that I haven't been receiving the Outlook notifications. All other notifications that I have setup within the action center are working correctly.
So far I've tried re-syncing the Outlook account, unchecking it to sync and then rechecking, multiple soft resets, unchecking the action center settings for Outlook and nothing has worked.

Apr 15, 2014i just updated my lumia 1520 to WP 8.1 and it worked perfectly. However, when i tried to factory reset my phone to change region and make Cortana work (before the factory reset i cannot open cortana even when i change region), suddenly the access point and internet sharing didn't work anymore, the operator always show inactive. Moreover, on the top of the screen next to the operator and wifi icon it has a sim tray icon. I've tried couple ways such as restart the phone, update or reinstall the access point but it doesn't fix the issue.
