Apr 1, 2011I just got a Blackberry last week and there's no option in the email set up for a personal email address add, only for a business one. how to change this?

May 17, 2011I have just got my blackberry curve, and am working through the set up wizard and it only allows me to set up a business email with the blackberry enterprise server.
How do i set up a personal email ??

Feb 19, 2012I am trying to configure a personal email address on my blackberry curve 8520 but it only gives me the option on the Email Set-up - i want to use a work email account with a Blackberry Enterprise Server and not the option ' i want to create or add an email address. I have currently got an ASDA SIM Card. Is there a way of setting up an e-mail address on this phone?

Dec 19, 2011I want to setup email connection. On this 9360 I do not have any Connection Assistant so I use "setup" mode and "mail accounts" options. Usually (as on my previous Curve 8520) I used to have two options when entering there :
- Use my own email address (personal address) or create a new one
- Use my Enterprise email address
But when I launch Email setup on my curve 9360, I have only the Enterprise option so that I Cannot setup email! My 9360 runs under OS 7.

Jun 1, 2012I changed my phone from iphone to blackberry Curve 9220. I am using Airtel postpaid plan for data. Not, I am able to see edge in blackberry but I guess if it is not caps (EDGE), it means service provider is not registering it.
As checked in various forums, I did follow KB00510- to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network.
I also tried to follow KB05000 but couldn't becuase I was never able to set any Internet service e-mail account. I also tried following KB02830 - sending the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service but couldn't because I don't see an option of choosing Internet mail account. When i click setup-> email accounts, it automatically takes me to enterprise account. I also tried doing it from provider's website (url...) but the dialogue box asked me repeat the step of registering at Host routing table, which i already did earlier.
