BB Bold :: Unable To Register Professional Email
Jul 6, 2012Since two days, I am unable to register my professional e-mail. In the configuration, I enter my e-mail adress and enter the password received from Administrator. The message error says: no reply from company server The IT team, cancelled the account and re-create a new one with password and I still have same problem.The opertaor Maroc Telecom couldn't help me; they say I need to provide the password of the company's server; information I can't provide?

Mar 23, 2010I'm running 5.0.0.314 with Blackberry messenger 5.0.0.57.First of all, when i try and backup my blackberry messenger contacts it says it will send a confirmation email to my email address, but it just stays pending forever. I never recieve the email. (not in junk or deleted) I am however able to recieve emails on my blackberry device whenever my email account does recieve an email.Secondly everyone on my blackberry messenger list doesnt show their display pictures nor does display picture changes on the other end of my contacts.Anyone know how I can fix this or is this an issue?

Jun 29, 2011i am trying to register on my carriers BIS webpage, via a browser on a pc.i get the following error,Your account is not accessible via HTML browser. Please use your device to access BlackBerry Internet Service.i can access email settings on the device and configure email, however i prefer to do this via a webpage.in the email settings app on the device, when i press the menu button i dont get the create user account as outlined here blackberry support doc ?my 9780 is on OS 6, and i guess the support doc linked above was written for a previous version of BIS?

Jul 31, 2012I have been using Bold 9780 for a year now without a problem. Because I Changed my password for my email account (Gmail) yesterday, I needed to update it on my Bold also. But when I tried to access Email Account Management, I got a message "Unable to open email setup application. Contact your wireless service provider". I did, and they told me that the only remedy would be to clean install the operating system. As I would like to avoid this, I searched the web a bit, and found the advice to setup my email account online. I tried this, but got an error message saying that my device was not registered, although I did register it a few minutes earlier (Houst Routing Table -> Register now). I re-registered, reboothed the device - same error.

Sep 28, 2010I recently (24th Sept 2010) purchased a Blackberry Curve 8520 on Orange PAYG. The main reason for doing so was the internet and BBM applications.Upon attempting to register with Orange for BIS (£5 per month deducted from your credit - quite good value i though) by ringing through to customer services and asking them to activate it, i was told it would take 24 hours. I've been told this everyday up to now (28th September 2010) and so far it has not been activated. Today however i did feel asif i got somewhere as i recieved a message from Blackberry saying that my handheld had been registered with my network provider. But still nothing is working. My credit has not been deducted, but i do now have "GPRS" in the top right hand of my screen whereas before i had "gprs". I've tried to activate my BIS through the www.blackberry.orange.co.uk website but I just get told..

BB Torch :: Cannot Register My Email Account
Dec 3, 2011Last night my phone kept rejecting my password which caused a security wipe out on my phone. Surprisingly my 2 email addresses were still on the phone when I tried to set up my email account via the set up option. everytime I entered the passwords to my email accounts I keep getting a message saying "sorry, unable to continue your session it does not give ne the option to delete these accounts and re-enter them and now I am unable to use my email on my phone.

Jun 1, 2012I changed my phone from iphone to blackberry Curve 9220. I am using Airtel postpaid plan for data. Not, I am able to see edge in blackberry but I guess if it is not caps (EDGE), it means service provider is not registering it.
As checked in various forums, I did follow KB00510- to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network.
I also tried to follow KB05000 but couldn't becuase I was never able to set any Internet service e-mail account. I also tried following KB02830 - sending the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service but couldn't because I don't see an option of choosing Internet mail account. When i click setup-> email accounts, it automatically takes me to enterprise account. I also tried doing it from provider's website (url...) but the dialogue box asked me repeat the step of registering at Host routing table, which i already did earlier.

Jul 2, 2011I have a BB 9630 Tour Verizon which I am using in India on the Vodafone network.The phone was working fine for the first 10 days or so.I am unable to use the data services on the phone for the past 7 days. I have checked with vodafone and they say that they have checked their systems and as per their system all my services are active.The have asked me to hard re-boot the phone by removing the battery and SIM card. But this has not solved the problem.Then they asked me to go to options -> advanced options -> host routing table ->register now. The screen then shows "Registration message sent". But nothing happens beyond that and I have not received any message from BB that my phone has been registered.

Please try again."One can dismiss that complaint and continue with the attempted registration, selecting carrier, MFN, and Primary Device, adding purchase date and clicking submit, but that only take one to abject failure:"There has been an error with your request."Perhaps it is because the Photon Q is so new? Jan 12, 2012I have a Bold 9000, bought new and unlocked about 3 years ago. It was working fine with all services like BBM and push email working flawlessly on Idea Cellular. While out of town, my Bold 9000 seemed to run out of battery and wouldn't turn on even after attempting to charge it. It would continue to flash 11110000, where 1 indicates a flash of red LED and 0 meaning LED off. Once home, I had to reload the OS on the device. I have the latest OS5 running of the system. And since the device was security wiped, the settings were set to the defaults. But the handset fails to register and instead of 'EDGE' it shows 'edge' or sometimes 'GSM'. I am however, able to make phone calls and send/receive text messages. So far I have tried the following: 1. Hard reset the device numerous times and after every change of settings, leaving the battery out for 2-10 minutes 2. Ensured that the firewall is off 3. Send registration message from Host Routing Table, which is empty 4. Manually set the APN to 'blackberry.net' in TCP/IP 5. Enabled Data, Data roaming and network is 2G only. I have called up Idea customer care and they ensure that my services are working fine and asked me to only perform the steps listed above. This was confirmed by using my Idea sim card on a friend's Torch 9800. Her handset is successfully registered using my sim card and can use BB services. I tried her Airtel sim card and my Bold still failed to register on that network.

Sep 25, 2011I have a big issue.I purchased a BB 9930 from ebay that was confirmed to be unlocked.When I received it there was a SIM-Card (Sprint) inserted and it also had a Sprint logo on the phone... Anyway, I swapped the SIM-Card from my carrier in Switzerland (Europe) and everything looked OK as I was able to make phone calls, use the BB-App and so on. The problem is that I cant go online with browser and I cant use email services. I have sent "Host Routing Services" doesnt work.I have tried to Update Profile/PRL "The profile could not be updated. Please try again later. If problem persists, contact your wireless service provider" I have pulled batt. I have tried to register my BB over the website of my carrier with PIN code and Imei and it denies it because the phone isnt registered with the carrier... and so on tried about a 100 times! Of course I have the Blackberry service option with my carrier.My provider says that the former carrier has to give the BB free for them to register my phone... Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?
