Nov 12, 2011I have a 9300 and it won't let me register my fsmail.net (orange) email account. Don't really want to open another account as I have had this for years!

Mar 23, 2010I'm running 5.0.0.314 with Blackberry messenger 5.0.0.57.First of all, when i try and backup my blackberry messenger contacts it says it will send a confirmation email to my email address, but it just stays pending forever. I never recieve the email. (not in junk or deleted) I am however able to recieve emails on my blackberry device whenever my email account does recieve an email.Secondly everyone on my blackberry messenger list doesnt show their display pictures nor does display picture changes on the other end of my contacts.Anyone know how I can fix this or is this an issue?

Jun 1, 2012I changed my phone from iphone to blackberry Curve 9220. I am using Airtel postpaid plan for data. Not, I am able to see edge in blackberry but I guess if it is not caps (EDGE), it means service provider is not registering it.
As checked in various forums, I did follow KB00510- to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network.
I also tried to follow KB05000 but couldn't becuase I was never able to set any Internet service e-mail account. I also tried following KB02830 - sending the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service but couldn't because I don't see an option of choosing Internet mail account. When i click setup-> email accounts, it automatically takes me to enterprise account. I also tried doing it from provider's website (url...) but the dialogue box asked me repeat the step of registering at Host routing table, which i already did earlier.

Apr 7, 2011Is there a known issue with the 9300 not charging. I purchased my first in December 2010 by mid Feb 2011 it had stopped charging. I returned the phone to my carrier in the uk 3. The phone was unrepairable and was replaced under warranty. Now the replacement phone has the same problem but they are saying that it is a user issue and not a warranty issue. If they are to repair it, I need to pay £119 which is ridiculous as I could buy a new one for £179. They have told me that the charging connection is damaged on one of the internal terminals.

Jan 31, 2012I just updated a blackberry 9300 to OS6 and found some issues regarding the email settings. Here are the issues I've found
1. Somtimes, it takes a very long time to load up email settings. For this , I clicked on "Settings", and then "Email Accounts"
2. Under Email accounts, it is obvious that there are 2 types of emails, one being enterprise, and one for the other types. I wanted to add an emaiil account, however when I click on the first option , nothing happens.
I tried to do some research about this, and came accross articles saying that I need to install "Email Settings", from the desktop manager. So I did, but apparently , it gives me an error that there are dependency issues, which means that I can't install "Email Settings" afterall.

Sep 19, 2012My email does not seem to be working on my curve 9300, I recently had a curve 9230 which I set up the same email on to that but then wiped the phone and took the email off, I am now using my 9300 and my email does not work, everytime I try to add my email back onto it it does not go on to the email setup, the email setup icon is there but I click it and nothing happens, I tried registering my blackberry again to the network but it still never helped, I security wiped it aswell n tried to add my email but the same problem occurred, i really need my email on my blackberry.

As I understand from the online manuals you can setup an Internet Mail Account (which is what I want) or an Enterprise Account (i don't have)When I go to email setup I get the title to the screen of 'Enterprise Activation' and options to enter my email account and 'activation password'. In the set up menu the only option for email takes me straight to the Enterprise option - I think I need personal email set up but I do not know where to find it.Also have a music download issue. I have synced it to our itunes and although I spent ages specify which tracks to add (using BB desktop software) and it seems to have added the whole libary! I then tried to remove it all with no success. Now seem to have double copies of everything! How do I remove all the music and start again and get it right.
