i just updated my operating system for my 9300 curve to version 6 and i have 2 email address both under hotmail which were previously setup. well in the setup wizard i found it strange that i couldn't select internet mail account. and when i go into messages and check inbox management. there is no email addresses listed under email accounts.

When it came back, the OS was upgraded to 6.0 from 5.0. All is fine except now the text messages are getting deleted after few days. What remains is the name of the sender in green with no message in it. Even in settings, I have kept "forever" in the tab "Days to keep messages".

I have a yahoo email account that is forwarded to the blackberry device.My carrier is AT&T. I tried taking out the SIM card, taking out the battery etc. but nothing seems to be working. View 6 Replies View RelatedI just updated a blackberry 9300 to OS6 and found some issues regarding the email settings. Here are the issues I've found
1. Somtimes, it takes a very long time to load up email settings. For this , I clicked on "Settings", and then "Email Accounts"
2. Under Email accounts, it is obvious that there are 2 types of emails, one being enterprise, and one for the other types. I wanted to add an emaiil account, however when I click on the first option , nothing happens.
I tried to do some research about this, and came accross articles saying that I need to install "Email Settings", from the desktop manager. So I did, but apparently , it gives me an error that there are dependency issues, which means that I can't install "Email Settings" afterall.
My email does not seem to be working on my curve 9300, I recently had a curve 9230 which I set up the same email on to that but then wiped the phone and took the email off, I am now using my 9300 and my email does not work, everytime I try to add my email back onto it it does not go on to the email setup, the email setup icon is there but I click it and nothing happens, I tried registering my blackberry again to the network but it still never helped, I security wiped it aswell n tried to add my email but the same problem occurred, i really need my email on my blackberry.

As I understand from the online manuals you can setup an Internet Mail Account (which is what I want) or an Enterprise Account (i don't have)When I go to email setup I get the title to the screen of 'Enterprise Activation' and options to enter my email account and 'activation password'. These seem to sugget it's trying to setup a Enterprise Account, when in fact I want an internet account.I can't see any options to change this at all? In the set up menu the only option for email takes me straight to the Enterprise option - I think I need personal email set up but I do not know where to find it.Also have a music download issue. I have synced it to our itunes and although I spent ages specify which tracks to add (using BB desktop software) and it seems to have added the whole libary! View 8 Replies View RelatedI've bought a Blackberry Curve 9300 a few weeks ago and I've added 3 e-mail accounts to it the same day to see how it works, it worked fine on the first day but on the next one it stopped working. Only then I created a BIS account - which TIM is my carrier -. Now the problem is: I can't delete these 3 accounts I've added earlier. I've tried to add them again trying to make it work properly, but I am unable to re-add them. On my BIS carrier website, It says that I've reached the maximum e-mail accounts.
How can I delete these e-mail accounts? I've tried the methods found on the web, like the one to "reconciliate"(?) the e-mail account option through wifi (on the phone). PS: My Blackberry is running a 6.0 bundle 2391 OS.
