how to sync all my contacts, messages and pictures from my Nokia Ovi Suite to my Blackberry curve 9300. If this isnt possible, is there a way i can export it using another format?
View 1 RepliesI sync my phone trying to do a backup.. but instead it has wiped everything on my iphone.I have tried to re-import sim contact but that is very few, i had over 200 contacts on this phone.All pictures cant be found.I've searched all over iTunes to see if it hidden in groups.I've searched outlook.. there are no contacts sync on there either.

I have a N97 with latest firmware. Does anybody know how to sync contacts group with Ovi PC suite or Ovi.com? I go to the option in (Menu/Settings/Connectivity/Data transfer/Sync/), then edit profile. But don't know how to define the database of contacts group.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am new to the Blackberry game, having used Nokia smartphones mostly.I got a Blackberry Curve 3G 9300 couple of days back. It came with OS 5 pre-installed. I got a BB plan activated with my provider (Airtel - www.airtel.in ) and got it to sync my work email, contacts and calendar using the BIS site. My employer uses Google Apps Premier Edition, so it was a rather painless process.Afterwards, I upgraded the device to OS6. Once the upgrade was complete, my emails started syncing automatically - nothing really needed from my side. But the Calendar and Contacts do not sync any more. I can see that the checkboxes for Calendar and Contacts are enabled both on the BIS site as well as the device, but they simply do not sync.

i have updated sofware in device and desktop both. i have tried Google Mobile Sync, but i am unable to fetch all the field contacts a indvidua entry i.e i have got only default no. [home, work, mobile 2 are left] only one no.

When I go in to Tools > Options then select Contacts and select Microsoft Outlook, Ovi Suite crashes. There is the first Nokia phone so there has been no other Nokia software installed on this PC before.
I am using curve 9300. I installed blackberry desktop sw and tried to sync my outlook contacts. The sw read all the 745 contacts and asked me to accept or reject. So when I clicked on accept, it just copied 4 items without any contact details and just crashed and gave an error msg "unknown error". I tried to delete those contacts and it's not allowing me to do so without giving any msg. I don't even get a delete msg on the bb. I even tried to press on menu when I go to the contacts and it won't appear on those particular records. I rebooted the pc and the phone and tried again and got "error encountered, error code 0x80040fb3". I even uninstalled the application and tried ver 4 & 5. The result is the same. I am stuck with those records and can't delete them. Further 740 contact that can't have on my blackberry.

I have a Nokia E71, and i was using Nokia PC Suite to sync it with my outlook 2007 it all worked fine, contacts, to do notes and calendar (i wasn't syncing mail cuase i use gmail), untill the new ovi suite came out and i decided to try it since It sounded better.turns out It really sucked this ovi suite!! one of the worst softwares I've ever used, it duplicated all of the appointments that had color categories in outlook 2007, it is dead slow to sync!!!(i mean reeeaaly slow), even tough the Suite integrates more stuff in to one place it has reduced funcionality to sync stuff with my phone, it offers less funtions, not to mention that the user interface sukcs (its poorly desingned, it takes long to accses stuff, it shows me stuff as if it was advertisement).PC suite was very simple but funcional, oviously i went back to pc suite, to my surprise i couldn't sync, pc suite & the phone would do as if they were syncing, but when i checked at the end it wouldn't sync stuff.
View 5 Replies View RelatedBack again with more probelms, i seem to have taken a step back by installing Ovi maps and now get the error 2148532241 reported when trying to sync.Using vista home edition and the latest version of PC suite.I had problems with Ovi suite so only installed it for the maps then uninstalled to revert back to the PC suite which previously was working sort of ok.I can still access contacts and meesages no problem but no sync - any ideas?as much as i love the phone E72 it's going back if this is an indication of things to come.

I've got myself a new non BB phone, as the support from BB was pretty non existent, however i've taken loads of pics on the 9300 which are saved only on the phone itself, not the sim or card. When I plug it in to the laptop it's permanently 'stuck' on 'charge only', there's no way it seems to move it to 'sync media' or the other one! Is there any way to get the pics off the phone or am i going to lose them all?? would be so much simpler if BB had put 4 little arrow keys on the keyboard, save all the faffing about on this seemingly very common fault.

Whet I startup the program the first message I get is "Operation failed - Unable to read tracks" (the audio tracks from the phone). The software can read and edit contacts in the phone as well as work with messages, but it won't sync either. The error code I get is 83940004. Except for notes.I use notes all the time at work, but they don't synchronise at all.If I create a new note on the phone, it will sync to Outlook.Same vice-versa.But if I update a note on the phone, it won't update to Outlook. Annoying as I constantly update and change notes as the day goes on.Basically, if there is a new note, it works.If there is an update to an existing note, it doesn't.I was thinking of trying Ovi, but I have in the past and it doesn't do all PC Suite does (I can't set another Calendar other than default to sync. View 3 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy to an Atrix 2. All my contacts are stored on my corporate exchange server. I had no trouble setting up my Atrix 2 for corporate sync, and all my e-mails, calendar appointments, and contacts came down to my phone quickly.
However, none of my contacts have pictures. I have searched the forums and found an article telling me to go to the accounts menu to select which account pictures should come from, but there is no such menu on my phone.
What do I need to do to get contact pictures on my phone ? I administer the phones for my corporation, and this is the only smart phone I have ever encountered that did not show contact pictures (Samsung, HTC, Iphone, etc, etc).
