I sync my phone trying to do a backup.. but instead it has wiped everything on my iphone.I have tried to re-import sim contact but that is very few, i had over 200 contacts on this phone.All pictures cant be found.I've searched all over iTunes to see if it hidden in groups.I've searched outlook.. there are no contacts sync on there either.

This morning my while checking my email on my phone, the screen went black for 5 minutes, and eventually the apple logo appeared and when blank again, i then turned on my phone and it said i had to connect it to iTunes, which i did. When it was recognized on iTunes it said this:Name:iPhoneCapacity: n/aSoftware Version: n/aSerial Number: n/a
and said it had to be restored, which i agreed to and first it recovered, and then it asked if i wanted to restore it as an iPhone found on this computer, (mine) and i said yes. After it recovered i saw that i lost all of my text messages up until April 6th, and i lost well over 200 pictures. Is there anything i can do to restore my messages and photos, or do i take it up with my wireless provider?

I recently lost an iPhone 3GS and replaced it with an old iPhone 3GS (replacement). The replacement required a software update but said that the previous phone contacts would synch after the software update. I have since completed a software update during which an error occurred, but the software eventually completed it's update. I now can't find my contacts from the previous phone. Should I restore to the original settings? Are my contacts stored on my Mac somewhere within iTunes?

I have a PC, iPhone and iPad on which contacts, reminders and calendar are turned on in iCloud.
Everything used to work fine. I missed a meeting on Thursday because it did not snych into me iPhone. I noticed contact changes were not synching. I turned of Contact Synching on the iPhone, selected keep contact on iPhone.
All contacts were erased on the iPhone. Turned synch back on and nothing downloads to the iPhone I checked iCloud on the web and the contacts are there.

I tried to sync my contacts to my mac using the Blackberry desktop software, I now have no contacts left on my phone. I didn't back up my phone before doing the sync and the contacts aren't on my mac either.Some contacts appear under recent calls and texts however there are no contacts in my address book.

I have more than one Blackberry connected onto BB desktop software and mind you that both phones have different contacts on them. I only backed up one of them prior to today and I had the option of syncing all my known contacts from my computer onto whatever phone that would be plugged in turned on. So basically I did not make a backup copy of my Curve 8320 and whatever contacts I have for my other BB has overwritten what was on it. Is there any way to recovery those lost contacts?!

View 4 Replies View RelatedHow to sync or rather resync facebook contacts back to your XPRT's contact list if lost. My son deleted my contacts and when I restored them from online back ups I noticed my facebooks were not there. Trying to remove the account to resync would not work. I received an error with each attempt. Like many users I use the Facebook app from Google's market. Even when I would force close the app it would still not remove my face book account. You cannot resync unless you remove the account. Open the facebook app and simply sign out of the app. do not close it but sign out by hitting the menu icon to the left of your home button on the touch scene. This will allow you to remove the Facebook account. It will warn you on sign out that all your Facebook data on your phone will be lost if you sign out. That is okay as soon as you log in and resync and reopen the app it will all come back.
Once you have logged out remove your account by going to My Accounts in the app drawer or from your phones settings through the menu button. Resettling your phone is not necessary but can be done at this point if you wish. Either way after this point you must add your facebook account back by going back to My Accounts. Once you add the email and password and it goes back to your accounts screen you will see two (2) facebook accounts. Click one and if it pulls up a blue and white screen to log into the facebook app stop. Hit the back button and click the other facebook account. The one you want will have a black Motorola XPRT system windows that says "sync contacts" just hit that sync button and it should as long as facebook and your MOTOBLUR app on facebook are both working resync you contacts adding them to your phones contacts.
Everytime I sync my iPhone with Outlook I lost some of my contacts, and, some of my contacts missed some other information e.g. just have office tel. no., but lost the mobile no., or notes that I drop down in the remarks in my iPhone, not appear in the outlook. In the next sync, that information not appear in my iPhone neither....
(1) How can I make sure I will not lost the information when sync?
(2) What setting should I do to make all information appear in my iPhone also appear in my outlook?
(3) How can I get my lost information? I know all information are in good condition in my iPhone on 25 March 2012.

I took a backup of my E 72 using PC suite on my laptop. and fomatted the memory card and took a hard reset of my phone as after software update the phn stopped alerting on receiving an sms. but now when I am restoring the data, i see a message everytime that "restore successful.phone will restart" but after restart there is no data restored from the back up. and also says that "due to insufficinet memory the back up file was saved on my laptop's desktop with the names - 1.) DEV and 2.) MMC".i need those messages as it has all my bank account details.i tried restoring only the messages from the backup file with extension "nbu." but all in vain.again it says "restore successful.phone will restart" but no messages are seen after the restart.
I have tried several times,restoring using ovi suite also but i get a message "something's gone wrong"
I just upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy to an Atrix 2. All my contacts are stored on my corporate exchange server. I had no trouble setting up my Atrix 2 for corporate sync, and all my e-mails, calendar appointments, and contacts came down to my phone quickly.
However, none of my contacts have pictures. I have searched the forums and found an article telling me to go to the accounts menu to select which account pictures should come from, but there is no such menu on my phone.
What do I need to do to get contact pictures on my phone ? I administer the phones for my corporation, and this is the only smart phone I have ever encountered that did not show contact pictures (Samsung, HTC, Iphone, etc, etc).
I have a Blackberry Curve 8530 which I was working fine with 250 contacts and 20 memos. I just updated my software to 5.0 1596 and when I was synching my blackberry with my computer I got the following message " The following changes from address book microsoft outlook will be applied t your device data in address book - 233 additions". When I click accept the sync stops and I got an error message - 0x80040fb3 and I only have 4 contacts and no memos.

Typically I would go to Settings > Accounts > Facebook and then choose sync with existing contacts but in the facebook account settings there are sync options, just says sync now if I choose the menu button. I'm trying to get the Facebook pictures to sync with my contacts.

View 2 Replies View RelatedBack again with more probelms, i seem to have taken a step back by installing Ovi maps and now get the error 2148532241 reported when trying to sync.Using vista home edition and the latest version of PC suite.I had problems with Ovi suite so only installed it for the maps then uninstalled to revert back to the PC suite which previously was working sort of ok.I can still access contacts and meesages no problem but no sync - any ideas?as much as i love the phone E72 it's going back if this is an indication of things to come.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've just gotten a Bold 9700 and noticed that even though I have the option to sync the profile pictures of my friends with my contacts profiles on the phone, the pictures for my phone contacts remain blank. The Facebook profiles are linked to my contacts and sometimes will show the Facebook profile picture but after a while the picture reverts to a blank icon again. I've also unselected the option to sync and re-enabled the option to update Blackberry contacts with my Facebook contacts to try and force the pictures to update but no success.
I was thinking that it might also be because of a conflict wiyth other apps trying to update the contact pictures seeing as I originally imported all my contatcs from my Gmail account but I am unable to figure out which other apps, if any, are updating contact pics and thereby turn them off.
Blackberry contacts linked to a LinkedIn profile show their LinkedIn profile pics correctly though and other than that I only have BB Messenger, GTalk, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook that are linked to my Blackberry contacts.Any ideas on how I can get my contacts' pictures to sync correctly with Facebook?

I have an N8 and haven't upgraded it to Bella. I can't access to my pictures in my phone. If I go to the pictures gallery and select albums it says "837 captured items" but when I select the file it shows nothing, it says "no images or video clips"!!!.
I know they are in E:
but when I use File manager and enter to E: I can't open the images file, it says "unable to open, file not supported". I don't know what to do, I don't have the cable to connect my phone to my computer and even if I had it I cannot enter to Ovi suite because I have a Mac.
