My husband lost his iPhone yesterday. It's still on and rings, however it's no longer in his office, and assumed stolen. Unfortunately, he did not activate "Find my phone" or any other apps of the sort.
I was wondering, since his phone is still logged in to Facebook and Skype, can it be located somehow through them?

when I was upgrading to 4, I got some error that came up (something like MobileBackup.exe has crashed, not too sure what it was) and it stopped restoring. However, it is still called "Anthony's iPhone", the same as during the last upgrade and I synced it so I still have all my old apps. Is there anyway I can recover all these lost contacts etc? It's basically like a new phone now with apps, I had to so the shift+restore method to upgrade as my iTunes account wasn't logging in.
Oh and btw, yes I was doing it on Vista because my iMac broke a few weeks ago, so no comments like "because you're on Windows" please :P

I deleted my icloud account on my iphone and in doing so was asked if I wanted to delete the contact and calendars. I thought they were talking about the icloud account. But what I did not realize was they were talking about ALL contacts. I checked my desktop and all contact are deleted. How can I get my contact list back without paying apple support 29.00 with no promise of if I can get my list back.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI previously owned an 8830 World Edition and recently bought the 9630 Tour. I had the the guy at Sprint transfer everything from the 8830 to the 9630. I gave my wife the 8830 and she had her old phone transferred to the 8830. I realized the I did not have my passwords in my password keeper on the new 9630 so I connected the 9630 to the laptop with the old desktop manager. I recovered my passwords but now I have my wife's contacts in my phone and I can't recover my contacts. If anyone could provide a solution.

I was having issues trying to change my default email to a gmail account. I finally decided to delete the gmail account and then re-register it. When I did this I accidentally chose to sync contacts. Now all my contacts are friggin' gone! If I open my call history all the info is there for everyone, but not anywhere else. Anyone have any ideas on WTF happened and how to recover them? I can't imagine that they were all wiped out irrecoverably. BTW, I've checked for any filters, and even deleted the gmail contacts service book but still no joy.

I just bought new Black Berry Bold 9930, and all of may data already transferred from my old Black Berry 9000, such as contacts, BBM contacts, memo, etc. Before I backup the I've travelling to Singapore and I used local SIM card. And the device recognized the new SIM card inserted and asked me to confirm the Black Berry ID that was created before. But the password is invalid, I tried so many times and still password invalid, and then suggest to be created new Black Berry ID, and I did it. After that all of my data were wiped and I can't use it anymore. So, how can I restore all of my data such as contacts, BBM contacts, memo, etc?
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I added a new gmail email address to my phone but by accident, when prompted told it to synch my contacts with that account. The first thing it did was import all the contacts to my gmail address book, on gmail.com, effectively erasing most of them from the phone. I took it into the t-mobile store and the guy somehow managed to recover about 1/3 of the contacts. So when I took it home, I deleted that email address and just plugged it into my computer and re-synched the contacts from my address book. However, whenever I look in my address book on the blackberry now, at the top of a contact it says "Sychronize using: emailaddress@gmail.com" (Obviously insert the email address I used). But that email address is no longer on my phone, so how is it synched with that? It also I think it is creating problems with synching up my facebook contacts as their pictures no longer show as icons on my phone. It's a minor problem, and seems to be a software issue, but is there any way to completely un-sych my contacts from this deleted email address?

I bought my bold 9900 last november and back then I connected the phone to the computer and switch from the 9700 that i own previously. Since then I never connected the phone to the computer again until yesterday to update the software. In the middle of my first attempt to update there was a crash so I started again but for my surprise after de update has finished and i reinitiate the handset it seems that almost eveything was wiped out, I had to reinstal all the applications and when the phone was on it came the option the contacts from sim to be installed but then i have some contacts missing and part of the info of some of the ones that still there are also missing, the weird thing is the pictures that i had in the phone are all there.... DO you think theres anyway to get the contacts back? SHould I restore from the backup of the 9700 that i did when i bought the new phone?

I have reverted back to the old iTunes ID but this has not recovered the contacts.
