BB Curve :: 9300 - Missing USB Drivers?
Jul 7, 2012I get an error that says "This device cannot charge your phone" and clicking more information tells me I don't have the USB drivers installed. Two problems. The first is that I have the desktop app which supposeduly was supposed to install these automatically, and second was that the first time I saw this error, I had it plugged into the wall via a USB -> AC adapter. So, no computer involved.I'm getting seriously frustrated, because I've already had to take the phone back twice for replacement and a new battery. This seems like it can be fixed on my end, but I can't find a download for the drivers.

Apr 27, 2011I have a curve 9300 v5.0 it was working fine I think that it was because I was trying to update to the last version of it, but it didn't work and show some kind of error, after this the bbm was working and the next day the icon was Gonne! I already reboot my phone, wipe it (reset) and started from scratch but nothing seems to work! My icon is not there! When I tried to install blackberry messenger again it said that the application already exist! idk what else to do!!! Can anyone please help me! Also when I tried to work on it form my PC it said that my device has not enough memory!

Jun 10, 2011I recently noticed that my Blackberry App World icon was missing from my home screen. I drilled into each of the sub folders, selecting 'show all' for each, and still could not find the icon. I attempted to re-download the app from the blackberry website using my browser, but was informed that I already had the application on my device. I then attempted to replace the existing version, and still no icon.I then decided to navigate to the application center and remove the app world application. I then navigated back to my browser (cleared the cache) and attempted to download the app. I received a 'download failed' notification, with the details of 'Invalid COD error 907' message (or something to that affect).
Specs:
Device: Curve 9300
Carrier: Vodaphone UK
OS: 6.0 Bundle (v6.0.0.448, platform 6.6.0.124)
App world: v2.1.1.19 (i think)

Feb 18, 2011After installing OS6 on my Blackberry 9300 the icon for Blackberry App World has disappeared. App World is installed in the application list but the icon does not appear on the Home screen even after the show all command.

However when I go into Media>>>Highlight Pictures and instead of opening pictures I click to BB key and choose the explore option, I can find my pictures by going through Device Memory/home/user/pictures

Nov 11, 2011Upgraded my 9300 Curve from OS5 to OS6 but Application Center Icon is missing. The application is listed on the Application Manager but nowhere to be found on the Menu even after trying to show all application icons. Oct 15, 2012Ok, so my 9300's trackpad stopped working a while ago. I've got myself a new non BB phone, as the support from BB was pretty non existent, however i've taken loads of pics on the 9300 which are saved only on the phone itself, not the sim or card. When I plug it in to the laptop it's permanently 'stuck' on 'charge only', there's no way it seems to move it to 'sync media' or the other one! Is there any way to get the pics off the phone or am i going to lose them all?? would be so much simpler if BB had put 4 little arrow keys on the keyboard, save all the faffing about on this seemingly very common fault.

Feb 23, 2015I went to see Topgear live at the weekend. I recorded a few videos in 4k. After about the 3rd one I got the error up about camera over heating and would shut down if it continued to get hot, so I carried on recording until it did.
I then got the message that space was running low and would I like to transfer data to sd card, since I had a 64gb in I chose yes then closed my phone cover.
Then when I got home I went to show the missus the videos and nearly all my videos and pictures from February have gone. I've even tried a new memory card today to see if they come back.

Jul 21, 2012I discovered that when I click Media/Expore only the Device file folder displays. The Media file is gone. My camera had 400+ photos on it, and now it says only 16 pictures available, with 0 items in the Camera Pictures. Not only that, the flash is continually lit, and the device gets quite warm, and the battery runs low quickly. I had not recently done a back up, but when I did, it indicated that there were no photos to back up! There is no SD card installed, never had one. I have pulled the battery multiple times, even over night, and nothing is fixed. The camera was working the night before, and when I went to look at the pics the following morning, the flash light was on, and the file and all photos were gone!

Sep 26, 2011I am using hosted Exchange server 2010 for many years and have around 500 contacts with pictures in my contact book. Once I receive Motorola Photon 4G same as on my prior Epic 4G I sync to exchange account and all my contacts with pictures was there. I do not even yet sync to any other account. I need to reflush my phone, using regular stock software I did stock reset (factory default with erasing data from both storage cards) and once phone back I again link it to my exchange account. It resync all contacts as expected, but this time without any pictures. I did not make any changes on exchange server between 2 sync. I can still see picture on exchange webinterface, ipad and outlook. I repeat delete, reset and resync on my android multiple time, I went to exchange webinterface and delete link to this phone account. No pictures, whatever I do can not get it back, but I know it was working. I installed for fun exchange by touchdown and it sync all ocntacts with pictures, problem I do not like it as it keep contact and calendar in it own database and it not easy to integrate with other apps.

I bought the device a month ago and had a brand new battery installed in no later than yesterday.Battery life is about 3 to 5 hours at the very best, whilst I am not using any specific 3rd party application.In addition, the "clock" apprears on a very frequent basis, slowing the system dramatically.I do not have any files saved on the media card ... Wi-fi has been disabled already as have Bluetooth. LAt, connection the mobile network is fine so I do not believe it has to do with the device desperately seeking connection.PS: I am based in France with SFR being my provider.
