get all the contacts from my NOKIA N 79 "Contacts.nbu" file to my blackberry curve 9300 and same for the messages from nokia to blackberry.
i have updated sofware in device and desktop both. i have tried Google Mobile Sync, but i am unable to fetch all the field contacts a indvidua entry i.e i have got only default no. [home, work, mobile 2 are left] only one no.
Im trying to transfer contacts list from one blackberry curve 9300 to another blackberry curve 9300 my local AT&T store tryied and failed then told me to just go home and use blackberry desk top manager and back up old phone then restore to the new phone when I do durring the restore i get the message of [OMA DM] 0 of 1 restored. most of the photos, emails, apps, phone log, get transfered but no contacts have been changed.

i just updated my operating system for my 9300 curve to version 6 and i have 2 email address both under hotmail which were previously setup. well in the setup wizard i found it strange that i couldn't select internet mail account. and when i go into messages and check inbox management. there is no email addresses listed under email accounts.

When it came back, the OS was upgraded to 6.0 from 5.0. All is fine except now the text messages are getting deleted after few days. What remains is the name of the sender in green with no message in it. Even in settings, I have kept "forever" in the tab "Days to keep messages".

I got a BB plan activated with my provider (Airtel - www.airtel.in ) and got it to sync my work email, contacts and calendar using the BIS site. My employer uses Google Apps Premier Edition, so it was a rather painless process.Afterwards, I upgraded the device to OS6. Once the upgrade was complete, my emails started syncing automatically - nothing really needed from my side. But the Calendar and Contacts do not sync any more. I can see that the checkboxes for Calendar and Contacts are enabled both on the BIS site as well as the device, but they simply do not sync.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using curve 9300. I installed blackberry desktop sw and tried to sync my outlook contacts. The sw read all the 745 contacts and asked me to accept or reject. So when I clicked on accept, it just copied 4 items without any contact details and just crashed and gave an error msg "unknown error". I tried to delete those contacts and it's not allowing me to do so without giving any msg. I don't even get a delete msg on the bb. I even tried to press on menu when I go to the contacts and it won't appear on those particular records. I rebooted the pc and the phone and tried again and got "error encountered, error code 0x80040fb3". I even uninstalled the application and tried ver 4 & 5. The result is the same. I am stuck with those records and can't delete them. Further 740 contact that can't have on my blackberry.
