How do i transfer my contacts,messages, apps and BBM contacts to a new BB phone from the old phone, to a new BB phone? Must i individually informed my friends of the new device pin?

I may come to regret this (because I'm happy with AT&T and I've heard Sprint's network *****), but because of an unbelievable deal through my brother in law who works for Sprint, I am switching to an iphone 4s through them. I now seem to have lost all my contacts, SMS messages, some apps and all photos.

Verizon BB8530. And Desktop 5.0. BB8530 has all the updates.Had a 8320 maybe and lost it recently.Running Vista on the laptop and everthing seemed to work before I lost the old phone.Now I am trying to download all my information and contacts into the BB8530. All my files seem to have downloaded except the contacts.I get an error message stating something to the effect that my files are set for/to a wireless and will not transfer. I am new to all this so. This weekend we were all setting up our BBM through wi-fi and everything was working great except he can not receive messages from my daughter. He can send and receive to everyone in his contact list except her. She has deleted and re added him to her contacts several time, both by email and by pin. The both show up on each others contact list but he can not get her messages but he can send to her. She has been able to send to everyone except him. We searched for hours online for an answer but have come up with nothing.
