View 4 RepliesI recently got my BB 9300 serviced, the BB guys replaced the entire hardware...so I believe the phone is is as good as new. However, when i connect the phone & sync with the BB desktop software, its recoginses the device as new & hence not all my contacts are available for use.

Yesterday, I tried to edit a contact in my address book and nothing happened, it didn't give me the option like the 'roll' button had frozen up or something. Also, the phone froze completely and I had to switch it off (which took a few seconds) and then I had to switch on again. I got an error message of some kind saying an application was not running or working.

I using os v5.0.0.1015 (Bundle 1656, Platform 4.2.0.442. I backed up all contacts in my address book by using blackberry desktop software and then did the "Wipe Handheld" from my phone, but still when you try to add a new contact when you dont have any contacts on the phone it does not respond (in some cases the phone freezes) and i have to remove battery and start the phone again. again if I try to add any contacts it wont let me edit or create new contacts. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an Xperia Z5 (E6653) and I have a microsoft office 365 (business version) account that manages all my email, calendar & contacts. I setup the account through the built in "gmail" app because the contacts & calendar would not sync at all through the native mail app.
The problem I have is that I can see & call my exchange contacts with no problems, they sync fine from the server, but I can't make any changes to the contacts via the phone's native "contacts" app, the edit symbol is there but when i tap the symbol it takes me to the next sreen (edit screen) and from there the screen is basically useless, all the details are grey and un-editable *screenshot attached* ....
