View 1 Repliesi've made my wifi connection on my Curve 9300 nd I can see the network on the screen but when I want to connect my phone on the Internet with my wifi connection, it's seems the only way is having an abonment which includes data, what's I haven't. Can connect my phone on the by wifi or not ?

I have problem with the address Book in the Blackberry Desktop Application shows under- Applications- Address Book (not installed) this is happened after 233 out of 720 Contact of my Outlook contact was synchronized in my black Berry, I can't sync it any more? I went through configuration and reset in the Desktop application and I can click in address book and associate the contact with outlook, when I click OK, it is still "Grey out" in the Desktop Application, and still shows 'Not installed? I Checked for application update and I update the desktop from 5 to 6. It is still Grey out and shows "Address Book not installed"? Interesting point is I have BB Curve 8320 and it is in my BB desktop application and I can sync the address book and the application is not grey out?

However, when i connect the phone & sync with the BB desktop software, its recoginses the device as new & hence not all my contacts are available for use.

Or i must plug the phone on the sector and then it works ok.I have changed the battery. I have already the same problem. I asked support to Orange but i bought the phone 18 months ago so there's no more warranty. They said that blackberry warranty is 1 more year after the one year Orange warranty.

Just acquired a new blackberry 9300. Trying to set up e-mail, followed the Blackberry demo screens but I'm not getting the options demo'd. My phone isn't letting me choose between an Internet e-mail Account and an Enterprise )work related) account, so all I'm getting is an Enterprise set up, asking for an activation code. No idea how to get round this. Any ideas how i can get access to the internet mail set up.

I am able to use my enterprise mails, personal mails, BBM, and other applications available in my handset. It is just that Internet does not work.. My OS is version 6 .another colleague of mine who is using OS version 5 had a similar problem but it got resolved after he changed browser settings in Advanced Options- browser- Default Browser configuration- changed from Blackberry browser to Internet Browser - after that again browser options and select all ( support Java script, allow java script pop ups, terminate slow running scripts, show images, use background images, support embedded media) after that Cache options, clear all ( content cache, pushed content, cookie chache) . There after he went to host routing table and register .. Post which after hard boot he was able to access Internet.My problem is my OS version is 6 and I do not have advanced options tab in my handset and hence I am unable to change settings.

recently my phone has not been connecting to my laptop. It connects to other computers using the same cable but it just doesnt seem to work on any usb port on my laptop.When i do plug my phone to my laptop, the laptop simply acts as a outlet and carges it.
There are no prompts whatsoever on my phone, laptop or on desktop manager when its plugged in.
I have rebooted my phone, restarted my laptop, gave "microsoft fix-it" a shot at fixing tis problem, but nothing works.
Unfortunately it refuses to connect to my wifi. Everytime I try to connect I get a 'Failed to associate with the network' Message.
I've reset both my router and the phone plenty of times, I've checked my WEP passkey (We use WEP as my mum's Vista laptop doesn't seem to want to touch WPA), and well, we have had many devices on the router without issue so I doubt it's that. I've also tried disconnecting some devices from it to make sure the router isn't full up.

I am going to try to make this as simple and short as possible. I have a 9300 and it was due for upgrade from A T & T spouse has Iphone wanted new one not in upgrade period. Used my number to do upgrade now email doesn't work on 9300. AT & T Tech tried to help but it was a no go. They stated that Rim might have disabled something but not sure any assistance is wonderful. (even a link to fix it is fine also if it has been posted befor)
