Ive been on the phone multiple times with tmobile. we finally got my internet to work through the browser but I am still getting the same error message when i try to set up my email "your BlackBerry internet service account is suspended or deactivated. contact your wireless carrier" andnothing tmobile has done has helped.i have a curve 9300 os6
View 2 RepliesI got my torch 9800 on launch day. i loved this device and definately felt like i was upgrading from my old device (iphone 3g). as much as i love the capabilities of the device i have run into a few issues, specifically network issues. it all started on sunday when all of a sudden i lost connection to the blackberry servers(the little logo in the corner was gone..) i went to at&t on monday and they could not figure it out. apparently my service book for the blackberry internet service got deleted(i didnt even know what a servicebook was lol) so i went home later that night and downnloaded the at&t software and reinstalled the os and this worked. then all of a sudden today, my fb was acting up, so i deleted the app. then i lost the connection again... do you guys have any idea what could be causing this? im currently reinstalling the os as i write this.
View 8 Replies View RelatedCurve 9300 will not use wifi connection instead of network data services. I can connect to wifi networks just fine. The phone searches the networks out, connects, puts the little icon on the home screen to say it's connected to a wifi network. It lists the name of the network up the top. Everything's great, except that when you actually go to use the internet, the phone connects to your data services instead of the wifi and you get charged for data consumption.
If you turn off the network services to try and force the phone to connect to the wifi instead, you get the error message:
"You are not currently in an area that can handle data communication. As a result, the Browser cannot retrieve any web pages.try again when you are in a different location, or contact your service provider if the problem persists."
I purchased a Blackberry Curve 9300 yesterday on pay as you go from Orange. I have activated my new sim card but when I put it in it says I am recieving Orange signal but I cannot make any calls/send any texts or set up my e-mail on there. When I try to do this it says 'Service Unavailable' but yet it lets me go on the internet browser. I have also tried my old Orange sim card in the phone and it's exactly the same.

I have a curve 8250 and I am on a vodafone contract and I do have blackberry plan in my contract so it should work but it keeps saying it is not connected. I connected toa wifi connection yesterday and when I disabled that connection, my BIS did not start up again, i tried a battery pop reboot which didn't help at all, I even ran a diagnostics test and the resutls said as follows:
blackberry registration: no
Connected to blackberry:abort
blackberry pin-pin:abort
I already have a blackberry internet data plan but I can't connect to google or any apps.

Earlier BBM stopped working so I turned the phone off and BBM came back however now I can't use the internet or any of the applications I've downloaded. i recently bought my first Blackberry phone the other day and whilst still going through the process of setting it up, i am trying to get BB internet service onto my phone. I have so much gone as far as following instructions from somewhere to go in to advanced options, into "host routing table" and selecting "register now"... which does nothing. May i have alittle help in setting this internet up, as so far it only works thorugh connecting to my home wifi network.

Or i must plug the phone on the sector and then it works ok.I have changed the battery. I have already the same problem. I asked support to Orange but i bought the phone 18 months ago so there's no more warranty. They said that blackberry warranty is 1 more year after the one year Orange warranty.

I am able to use my enterprise mails, personal mails, BBM, and other applications available in my handset. It is just that Internet does not work.. My OS is version 6 .another colleague of mine who is using OS version 5 had a similar problem but it got resolved after he changed browser settings in Advanced Options- browser- Default Browser configuration- changed from Blackberry browser to Internet Browser - after that again browser options and select all ( support Java script, allow java script pop ups, terminate slow running scripts, show images, use background images, support embedded media) after that Cache options, clear all ( content cache, pushed content, cookie chache) . There after he went to host routing table and register .. Post which after hard boot he was able to access Internet.My problem is my OS version is 6 and I do not have advanced options tab in my handset and hence I am unable to change settings.

When running any of the apps first time (after installing) connection tru 3G or WiFi is OK. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BB 9300 with a preinstalled OS 5.0 as I connect it to a the Blackberry Desktop software it prompted me to upgrade to OS 6.0. now my problem is during upgrading and downloading of modules my internet connection went off several times and error has occurred, now as I connect my 9300 to my laptop the desktop software cannot detect the unit and an error stating that my BB is rebooting thus I cannot connect with the software.
