I ve just downloaded the Facebook application on my BB curve 9300 but it says I can not run it from my device how come ?
I ve try to download it again but it says i have to contact the support . I can not start the application that s the only application i have a problem with
when I use my facebook app on my blackberry curve 9300 I cannot connect to chat and keep getting this message after trying to connect and then retrying twice - unable to connect to facebook chat please try again later (401) also when I try to post comments it wont let me and I keep getting this message - the facebook server has returned an unkown error and is not able to fulfill your request (2104). My daughter can sign into her facebook using my phone and has none of the above problems, I am extremley confused. I have tried uninstalling the app and the reinstalling several times,.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Curve 9300 on a 'Social Plan' offered by Telus...it was a promotional plan that came with the phone. This plan DOES NOT INCLUDE DATA USAGE, but, it does give me unlimited usage of preloaded social networking apps (this included Facebook 1.6 or w.e it was, as well as BBM, Twitter, and a few others that don't matter).Today, I decided to 'upgrade' my Facebook app to 2.0. All attempts to log-in are met with this message: "We are unable to reach the Facebook server at this time. (0)" One other thing that should be noted is that I wasn't able to upgrade the app conventionally, due to a glitch I am unsure of. I uninstalled Facebook 1.6 and installed 2.0 from the App World site.

Your location is temporarily unavailable. Please try again.I've downloaded the recent update for the Facebook app, restarted the phone, Google maps works just fine, I've checked that the GPS is turned on, everything seems to be ok, except the check in feature is stil not working.

I do have the BIS so I'm unsure why it is working, it's been almost thirty hours since i got the new blackberry, and I've tried taking the battery out for a few seconds while it was on but that didn't work either. I'm not sure what to do. It also says that my BlackBerry internet service (BIS) is not connected, (although I do pay for it). How do i get the BIS connected and the BBM working?
View 9 Replies View Relatedi have a blackberry curve 9300 that was worning fine, untill i made the last upfgrade for teh new facebook version a few days ago. since the new FB version, when i get facebook notifications, they don't show on top of the screen (under teh clock) like teh bbm and the what's app notifications. now, for facebook, i only get teh red notification fot on teh folder where FB iis and on teh FB icon. nothihng on top on teh main screen like it used to.

I know even a sim card is replaced the other person would still be able to view my accounts. I spoke my service provider and they said here is nothing they can do, i dont know why. I dont remember creating a BIS account. It was my private gmail account lined to BB.

I also have the facebook app which comes with the phone. Now, whenever I get a notification from someone on facebook, the facebook app lets me know and it keeps a copy of it on my e-mails. However, when the time comes to delete all of my e-mails, it deletes everything except from all of the facebook notifications.

recently my phone has not been connecting to my laptop. It connects to other computers using the same cable but it just doesnt seem to work on any usb port on my laptop.When i do plug my phone to my laptop, the laptop simply acts as a outlet and carges it.
There are no prompts whatsoever on my phone, laptop or on desktop manager when its plugged in.
I have rebooted my phone, restarted my laptop, gave "microsoft fix-it" a shot at fixing tis problem, but nothing works.
Unfortunately it refuses to connect to my wifi. Everytime I try to connect I get a 'Failed to associate with the network' Message.
I've reset both my router and the phone plenty of times, I've checked my WEP passkey (We use WEP as my mum's Vista laptop doesn't seem to want to touch WPA), and well, we have had many devices on the router without issue so I doubt it's that. I've also tried disconnecting some devices from it to make sure the router isn't full up.

I have a 9300 and it was due for upgrade from A T & T spouse has Iphone wanted new one not in upgrade period. Used my number to do upgrade now email doesn't work on 9300. AT & T Tech tried to help but it was a no go. They stated that Rim might have disabled something but not sure any assistance is wonderful. (even a link to fix it is fine also if it has been posted befor)

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy wife has a bb 9300 3g on os6 and everything has been fine.However somehow she has screwed up the wi-fi settings.The phone will not connect to our home router and displays the rror message " failed to obtain an IP address".I hve tried everything on the phone from
- Removing the wi-fi setting and reentering them.
- Entering the details manually
- Removing the battery and rebooting the phone
- Reinstally the os over the computer
Nothing seems to work. I know the router is fine as I have the same phone and it connects ok along with several other devices.Has anyone any suggestions before I reset the phone to factory setting?
