I wiped my blackberry with jl_cmder which was succesful and wanted to update it cos it had a problem so i used apploader with/without battery but it still cuts to unable to connect to device etc and connecting to ARM now my bb's led blinks twice

View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to OS 6 on my Curve 9300 3g, (on the advice of a BB rep) and ever since my device memory has been low. When it was on OS5 it had about 90mb of free memory, now even after a reboot I' m lucky to have between 30 to 34mb. Now Web pages close unexpectedly and cannot use the tabbed browsing at all. I only a couple of small apps left on the device as I have deleted most of them already. I upgraded the OS using the desktop software, and all seemed to have worked OK. Have I missed something?, was there install files I should have cleared?

I followed the instructions to update the device software on my desktop and had the latest version (6.1.0.35).The device does not connect to the PC at all and a battery reset on the device did not help.It is frozen with the white 561 error message screen.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a curve 9300 but I cannot connect to my home wifi, everytime I try it locates it and shows there is a good signal but I get a message saying "failed to associate with the network".I have entered the WEP key a dozen times with and without spaces so I'm very sure it's not that.I've attempted several battery pop reboots recommended by other forums.Everything else on the phone works fine, I'm receiving emails no problem, I have been using the internet, BBM and facebook fine and I have been downloading apps from the app world.I have also received a message from blackberry saying "your handheld has been registered with the wireless network".

recently my phone has not been connecting to my laptop. It connects to other computers using the same cable but it just doesnt seem to work on any usb port on my laptop.When i do plug my phone to my laptop, the laptop simply acts as a outlet and carges it.
There are no prompts whatsoever on my phone, laptop or on desktop manager when its plugged in.
I have rebooted my phone, restarted my laptop, gave "microsoft fix-it" a shot at fixing tis problem, but nothing works.
Unfortunately it refuses to connect to my wifi. Everytime I try to connect I get a 'Failed to associate with the network' Message.
I've reset both my router and the phone plenty of times, I've checked my WEP passkey (We use WEP as my mum's Vista laptop doesn't seem to want to touch WPA), and well, we have had many devices on the router without issue so I doubt it's that. I've also tried disconnecting some devices from it to make sure the router isn't full up.

I have a 9300 and it was due for upgrade from A T & T spouse has Iphone wanted new one not in upgrade period. Used my number to do upgrade now email doesn't work on 9300. AT & T Tech tried to help but it was a no go. They stated that Rim might have disabled something but not sure any assistance is wonderful. (even a link to fix it is fine also if it has been posted befor)

The issue before was that the phone kept shutting off and would get stuck on the display loading bar everytime. I went to the AT&T store in town and they told me I needed to update it. View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a known issue with the 9300 not charging. I purchased my first in December 2010 by mid Feb 2011 it had stopped charging. I returned the phone to my carrier in the uk 3. The phone was unrepairable and was replaced under warranty. Now the replacement phone has the same problem but they are saying that it is a user issue and not a warranty issue. If they are to repair it, I need to pay £119 which is ridiculous as I could buy a new one for £179. They have told me that the charging connection is damaged on one of the internal terminals.
