I am upgrade my bb8520 using bd program , but until reconnecting to jvm it come up application loader was unable connect with your device . reconect your device , enter the password , if required , and click retry . but the phone is running at the half way .

The issue before was that the phone kept shutting off and would get stuck on the display loading bar everytime. I went to the AT&T store in town and they told me I needed to update it. View 1 Replies View RelatedSo last week or so, my phone took a bit of a swim. I did the usual, put it in rice and let it dry out. Then I turned it on to find it continously rebooting itself. Seeing as how I had no idea what was happening, I brought it to a shop to get it fixed. A week later I got it back and basically it was doing the same thing, only at the end of the reboot cycle the white screen would come up, then repeat. I googled this and saw that my blackberry was "nuked." There was an issue though; my phone had been totally wiped of handheld software. So I redownloaded it, then followed the steps to repairing it. But it would always stop at the second step saying "application loader was unable to connect to the device" when reconnecting to the jvc. Is there anything I can do or is my phone totally done?

View 3 Replies View Related1. Doesnt Turn On (I Get red light for approx 1 min with charged plugged in ONLY / then changes to charging sign on screen.
2. If chargers unplugged nothing happens no lights nothing (tried all battery pull far from this now)
3. Install all the software needed to do a full re-install BBSAK + JL_Cmder + Loader "to no avail"
4. When using the above said software i get an error on the COMPUTER saying "Cannot connect to JVM" Click either retry or cancel. the phone then seems to be going into a LOOP again, the windows device notification sounds every so many seconds.
Phone also never changes from a black screen with battery sign with lighting strike through it!Prior to the above the phone was fine, what this could be as it seems that most other threads and posts about JVM Errors seem to have a specific code and this one doesn't.
what this message means?. I cannot update my software. Nor can i find a resolution.

I am a new user of BlackBerry so I start to use Curve 8520 version 4.6.1.314 Platform 4.2.0.135 with PIN 22519E9E. I am located in the Philippines and my Service provider is Globe Telecom. My problem is I am unable to update my Device to 5.0. I tried first using the desktop software and I am getting a message That my device has the latest software. Then I tried using the web update and This time I am getting a connection error message and finally I also tried the other Option which is downloading the device sofware supported by my service provider I saw three options and downloaded them all then installed in my PC (two v4.6 and one 5.0). Then I launch my desktop sofware but this time I got an option to update my device 4.6. What I want is to upgrade it to 5.0 so I tried again via webupdate but I am also getting The option to update it to 4.6. I tried to delete the two 4.6 version folder in share folder Research in Motion folder locate in Program file folder/Common file/research in motion/shared Then tried to update again via deskstop and web but I got the same result on my first attempt To update my device..I really need someone to help me with my problem. I am unable to Install facebook 1.6 and unable to sign in to YNM applicatio that is why I wanted To update my device to 5.0.
View 16 Replies View Relatedi am trying to connect my blackberry curve 8520 to my own wi-fi at home, but it will not connect me to the router?its says to enter a pin to the router... i have watched videos on Internet and followed them step by step, but yet it still does not connect, this is what i have done:
-went to main menu
-clicked on 'manage connections'
-made sure the 'wi-fi on' box is ticked
-then clicked 'set up wi-fi network'
-scan for networks
-clicked on the network which is my router
-then it comes up saying
'provisioning wi-fi profiles...enter this pin into your wireless router: 18104707 time remaining 4:11.'
I already set up my wifi network yesterday and i was able to browse but it stopped working just this morning. It prompted that the available wifi network is available but each time I am attempting to connect it says: Unable to connect. Reason Failure to connect to the network.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just updated my BB 9700 for the first time (511 updates to be exact). The upgrade is currently at 11 out of 12 upgrades and it is taking about 45 minutes to initialize before it gives me the message: "The desktop loader is unable to connect to the device, you may need to enter a password on the device."
The BB is not asking for password and I do not have any password protection on it. I have unplugged the USB from computer and the phone, reconnected and clicked retry and it continues to give me the same message 45 minutes later. I am freaking out a bit because it cleared all my contacts off and I believe the process it is trying to do is to restore that information.
When I try to sync the contact list from outlook I get the error "unable to read application Data". I can sync my calendar, tasks and memos from Outlook, but for some reason I have problems with the contacts.

I am unable to upgrade my device core application from version 4.6 to version 5.0.When I click on the "Update Device" on the BB Desktop Software version 6.0, it states that my device does not require an update.Also when I click on the tab applications of the Desktop Software it does not show BB Core Application 4.6 and does show all other applications such Facebook, BB App World and BB Messenger 5.0.

I tried installing it as it advised, 5 times already and it still pops up the same message. I tried uninstalling and installing DM again with the latest version but it is still happening. Any clues on how to fix this?

When I start the "BlackBerry® Desktop Manager" the "BlackBerry® Application Loader" is run automatically. It's a problem if my PC is not connected to INTERNET, since I can't stop it clicking on "Cancel" and the "BlackBerry® Desktop Manager" become hanged. Therefore, I can't use my device as an External Modem.
It is happening since I updated the "BlackBerry® Desktop Manager" to Version 5.0.1.37.I want to configure the "BlackBerry® Desktop Manager" to ask me if I want to run the "BlackBerry® Application Loader", in a manual way. But I have not found how to do it.
when i plug my blackberry torch on the computer, the DM recognize it but when i go in the application section it starts loading (verifying all the stuff)but then the application loader appears to crash an i get message saying "Handheld Application Loader Wizard has stopped working" and i really dont know what to do.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am using Blackberry 9900 smartphone with OS version7.0 Bundle 1346 (V7.0.0.261, Platform 5.0.0.464)and i was initially able to connect to internet via apps and browser but after a while, i am unable to connect to internet via the application in the phone such as Facebook, Twitter, What's App and etc. I try 3G and wifi with no success but weird thing is i am still able to do web browsing via the blackberry native web browser. Have Google and found user with similar problem in the link [URL]The only way that i can able to use the app again is by taking out the battery and put it back to reboot the device. Your BlackBerry Application Loader needs to be updated before your can continue. Do you want to update now? [Yes / No]
When I click YES, the Desktop Managers starts to download the Application Loader update. Then I am instructed to close the Desktop Manager so the setup can continue. After the setup is complete, the Desktop Manager starts on its own again and directly tries to open Application Loader. And OOPPS !! it tells you again that it needs to be updated !!! I kept doing that for over 5 times! and I am still getting this wierd messages !
Here are some usefully details:
Device: BlackBerry 9700
OS: OS 5
Desktop Manager: 5.0.1
Windows: Windows 7 Ultimate
I've got a clean (wiped to factory reset) BB8800, with a first time installation of BB Desktop Manager on a new PC. The BBDM is 5.0.1.16. Everything is uncluttered with previous detritus.
However, when I connect the BB to the Desktop Manager, it asks me to update the Application Loader. I follow the instructions:
OK to upgrade
Disconnect BB
Click OK to close BBDM
Closes Desktop Manager,
Downloads 16Mb file
Goes to MS Installer
Verifies the files
Installs the files
It reopens the Desktop Manager
Then lo and behold, it asks me to UPDATE THE APPLICATION LOADER!!!
I'm on Application Loader 5.0.1.52. Is there any chance of downloading the newer Application Loader directly because everytime I go through the loop, it's downloading the installer files, and I can't find it in the cache.

I updated my blackberry software overnight on my device (curve 9330) and when I woke up in the morning there was a constant white screen with a little diagram and 561 error message underneath. I followed the instructions to update the device software on my desktop and had the latest version (6.1.0.35).The device does not connect to the PC at all and a battery reset on the device did not help.It is frozen with the white 561 error message screen.
