BB Curve :: 9300 Stopped Sending And Receiving Messages
Aug 24, 2012Its completely stopped sending and receiving messages. Ive tried the battery pull and that worked for a while but now there's a red x beside every message I send. I've also deleted and reinstalled BBM but no luck.

Sep 1, 2012I am having issues receiving all of my messages on my blackberry curve.I receive most but some I never get. I have a yahoo email account that is forwarded to the blackberry device.My carrier is AT&T. I tried taking out the SIM card, taking out the battery etc. but nothing seems to be working. For instance I just sent a message to myself from my device it never showed up but when I logged in the yahoo mail acct from my lap top it is there.

Jul 12, 2011what happens with text/sms messages when your blackberry is stolen but you keep the same number.So, for example, my blackberry was stolen last week and I am due to receive a new one this week that will have the same phone number. If people have texted/sms'd me on that number during the week I had no phone, will I receive the texts messages? I imagine not since it will be a different Sim Card.

May 3, 2012I am using BB curve 9300 3G, and OS 6.0. Around 2 months back, I was having issue with my BB so sent it to service center. When it came back, the OS was upgraded to 6.0 from 5.0. All is fine except now the text messages are getting deleted after few days. What remains is the name of the sender in green with no message in it. Even in settings, I have kept "forever" in the tab "Days to keep messages".

Today, for the last 4-5 hrs, I've been receiving numerous spam SMS msgs from 2 area codes in the Atlanta, GA area that are 3 different mobile numbers, and some of which are from the same repeating mobile number. Sep 13, 2015I am having troubles with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925W8 running Android 5.1.1. Ever since I upgraded to 5.1.1 I have sometimes been unable to receive text messages. This never used to happen with the older version of software I ran when I first got my device, and it is becoming rather annoying.
At random times I cannot receive text messages, and I have found the only way to 'spur' my device to receive messages would be to sending one. But this can be rather tedious, because if I haven't received a text in a while I'm not sure if it's my phone acting up again (so I must send a random text to try and download the waiting texts) or I just genuinely have not received a text.
Galaxy S5 :: Not Receiving Group Text Messages
Mar 18, 2015Since the Lollipop update (I know, I know...) my group text messages haven't been downloading. Sometimes I'll see the MMS trying to download but it just times out and I never see it.
But then tonight I found out that I wasn't receiving any text messages from my roommates. The individually sent texts would come through but not the group ones.
Verizon ended up having me do a hard reset and it still didn't work.
The kicker though, my roommates turned off the iMessage/turn to regular SMS on their iPhones and app future text messages started coming through.
But I wasn't getting text messages from others with Androids too. It seems to be only on group messages though.
RIM :: BB Pearl 8130 Not Receiving Some Text Messages
Oct 22, 2012I have a BB Pearl 8130 and I'm having problems. Phone is very slow/flaky sometimes, sometimes I don't get text messages that people tell me about later, if it's busy thinking it won't ring when somebody calls, and then the caller ID doesn't always work. (That especially happens when I've just disconnected from the computer.)
I have plenty of free memory and pull the battery about once a day. Last week I reset, reprogrammed, and reinstalled the OS. But I'm kinda suspicious because I didn't lose my preferences/options for most of the programs that I reinstalled, and that makes me wonder if it wasn't thorough enough.
