View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been experiencing some problems with my blackberry 9300, when I receive an incoming email, the blackberry does not sound but the led works, other notifications like pins and sms and call ringing, does sound in the loud profile; I had made a lot of things in order to repair this problem, I have made a hard reset to the BB, I have tried to set again the sound scheme in the selected profile, I have changed the bb to others profiles and I have also take out the battery for some minutes and I have not make possible the bb sound again when I receive a email.

I have a yahoo email account that is forwarded to the blackberry device.My carrier is AT&T. I tried taking out the SIM card, taking out the battery etc. but nothing seems to be working. Have tried options - advanced options - host routing table - menu- register now. and it hasnt worked.
For some reason I am only receiving a portion of my emails on my 8330 blackberry curve. I have had my carrier's support desk (Verizon) walk me through procedures to make sure I am capable of receiving these messages (which I am receiving on my computer, but not all show up on the blackberry).........and now I am hearing from Verizon that I need to contact Blackberry support. Is there a # to call? I don't know where to start. I can see on the Blackberry email setup icon that I have my verizon email address listed there with the correct password (and again, I am receiving some messages, just not all). Am I missing something here?
p.s. Also, I can't tell a difference between the emails that show up and those that do not...it's not like it's all the 'gmail and yahoo' messages that I don't receive, for instance...seems to be random.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter setting up my phone I was recieving e-mails fine however I am no longer recieving any e-mails. It appears that this could be a common problem, being as it is in the troubleshooting in the manual however... I cannot seem to solve it.
I have tried sending service books. Nothing appears to happen as a result of this. I have tried deleting the account from the phone and then adding it again but that doesnt appear to have worked. I didn't recieve an activation message when i re-added it and I don't know if that is important!
I think it may have happened around about when I was solving another problem and I installed the desktop software and backed up and restored all data. I am wondering if some settings got changed somehow as it is since then that I have not recieved any messages.
I am receiving old emails from 3 contacts, over and over onto my BB Bold.I have tried everything to stop them, but they just keep on coming in.An example is an email received two days ago, from a friend, just keeps on coming in, even after deleting the contact and changing my gmail password. View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a blackberry curve 9300 and i noticed that when i am reading an email and i use the trackpad left and right, instead of miving right and left within the line i am reading, it flips through e-mails (left gets the prefious mail and right gets the following mail) inlike when it is scrolled up and down, as it moves up and down the same mail.
is this notmal? can it be adjsuted from teh settings? this wasn't the case with my older curve 8520.
I bought a 9300 literally yesterday, and I'm using it with my current contract sim (which includes data) until I can get a blackberry contract.Apart from the fact that I was abroad this morning, had to turn off mobile services and use only wifi, and I couldn't browse past google (I did use the hotspot browser)...I want to set up my email even though I read I can't get push until I get BB service. However I seem to be lacking the wizard. When I try to set up an email account I get asked whether I have something something Enterprise (which I don't) and can't answer anything but yes. There is a selected dot I can't de-select. So I can't use my email.Also I didn't have App World, so I downloaded it from the browser, and now its in my menu. However if I try and log in with my BB account I get an error and the app crashes, even though the details are correct. So I can't download anything.

I have tried a hard boot many times, also tried "registering the network" and got to "sending service books" and couldn't get passed the "e-mail accounts setup" because it says "your device had a problem connecting to the server".
I have 3 email accounts on the device but for the past week no new emails are being picked up. When going to Setup and Emails, the device displays "Connecting to email settings" and then after a few minutes says "Your device had a problem connecting too the server".

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe track-pad on my BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 stopped working so Sprint replaced my BlackBerry earlier today and I haven't received an email yet on my new BlackBerry. Email setup brings me to the screen where I, "Move Email Accounts", and after I click it, it says that the device change was successful and prompts me to enter my password. After doing so, it takes me to a screen to synchronize my contacts and when I click that, it says, "Activation failed. An error was encountered when sending the activation transmission." I REALLY don't feel like running down to Sprint again and asking them to configure the email for me. I need my emails.

I have 5 different email addresses that go to my phone and the only ones that are giving me problems are my 2 Outlook emails. I am able to send messages from them, but am not able to receive any. I have checked out the charge on the battery i.e. is it below 5-10% charge, when i believe everything gets disabled to save the battery.Policies have been applied to the curve, one of which is to disable connection to pc's, could this be having an affect does anyone know?
