BB Curve :: Not Receiving Some IMAP Emails?

After initial setup, I'm able to receive SOME, but not all, e-mails on my BB Curve 8530. The others not received on my BB DO appear in Outlook 2007. I can't seem to identify any difference between those e-mails I receive on the BB and those I don't. On the recommendation of my web hosting company, I'm using their IMAP server. POP3 remains an option too. I have completed the registration and reconciliation processes. I've consulted with my web hosting company, and with both Verizon Wireless and RIM;

Right after the ICS update to my D4, my IMAP email stopped receiving emails. I kept getting an error saying "username or password incorrect." I tried rebooting the phone and deleting/recreating the email account but I still get the same message. I didn't change the password to my email account in the 30-40 minutes it took to update my phone.

I have been using gmail as my personal email and it's been syncing wonderfully via IMAP with my blackberry. My company just migrated over to a hosted gmail and I've added the email address to my BB and have configured the setting to IMAP enabled. I added the additional Lab to make sure the "show in imap" is checked off. However, I'm not receiving any emails. The ironic thing is that I'm able to send emails via my bb but when I reply from the outside address (reply via online), the reply message arrives in my actual inbox but not on my bb.

For some reason I am only receiving a portion of my emails on my 8330 blackberry curve. I have had my carrier's support desk (Verizon) walk me through procedures to make sure I am capable of receiving these messages (which I am receiving on my computer, but not all show up on the blackberry).........and now I am hearing from Verizon that I need to contact Blackberry support. Is there a # to call? I don't know where to start. I can see on the Blackberry email setup icon that I have my verizon email address listed there with the correct password (and again, I am receiving some messages, just not all). Am I missing something here?
p.s. Also, I can't tell a difference between the emails that show up and those that do not...it's not like it's all the 'gmail and yahoo' messages that I don't receive, for instance...seems to be random.

My old BB 9300 became faulty so i returned & recieved new BB 9300 yesterday. I set up my email (hotmail) and recieved notification that it was regiesterd but no emails have arrived but my inbox has 23. I can send email from BB

After setting up my phone I was recieving e-mails fine however I am no longer recieving any e-mails. It appears that this could be a common problem, being as it is in the troubleshooting in the manual however... I cannot seem to solve it.
I have tried sending service books. Nothing appears to happen as a result of this. I have tried deleting the account from the phone and then adding it again but that doesnt appear to have worked. I didn't recieve an activation message when i re-added it and I don't know if that is important!
I think it may have happened around about when I was solving another problem and I installed the desktop software and backed up and restored all data. I am wondering if some settings got changed somehow as it is since then that I have not recieved any messages.

I am receiving old emails from 3 contacts, over and over onto my BB Bold.I have tried everything to stop them, but they just keep on coming in.An example is an email received two days ago, from a friend, just keeps on coming in, even after deleting the contact and changing my gmail password. All the emails are gmail-based.

I just upgraded my 8530 to OS 5, funny thing though, when I'm not at home on my WiFi, I don't receive my emails, the browser doesn't seem to find anything (sticks are "requesting") and the FB app doesn't work.However, when I am away from my WiFi, my Pandora App still streams music from the web, so I'm wondering if there are any settings that may have been reset regarding the internet or data?

I am having trouble receiving and keeping emails. BT yahoo is my main web mail address, although I now open everything in windows mail, but my blackberry is not receiving anything at the moment. This has been an on going problem and I don't know where the fault lies, sometimes I receive emails, but then they disappear once opened, or I don't receive them at all!

I recently replaced my 8900, and I'm not exactly sure what I did wrong. Before I moved all my email accounts over to the new phone, I apparently set up my Gmail account on the phone wrong. At any rate, I keep getting my Gmail messages via SMS message. It's driving me crazy! It shows the sender as "700."

The track-pad on my BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 stopped working so Sprint replaced my BlackBerry earlier today and I haven't received an email yet on my new BlackBerry. Email setup brings me to the screen where I, "Move Email Accounts", and after I click it, it says that the device change was successful and prompts me to enter my password. After doing so, it takes me to a screen to synchronize my contacts and when I click that, it says, "Activation failed. An error was encountered when sending the activation transmission." I REALLY don't feel like running down to Sprint again and asking them to configure the email for me. I need my emails.

For the past 2 days, I have been unable to receive any of my Outlook emails to my phone. I have 5 different email addresses that go to my phone and the only ones that are giving me problems are my 2 Outlook emails. I am able to send messages from them, but am not able to receive any. I am getting all of my messages in Outlook, so I think there is some kind of incoming server issue with Outlook and Blackberry.Here are the things that I have tried (with no success):1, I have tried to send my Service Books several times2. I have recently had to reformat my 8900 and for some reason after setting up my gmail account i an receiving one copy of each email in my gmail folder and also recieving another copy of the same email in my messages folder. this means that i really am recieving 1 in the email folder and 2copies of the same email in the messages folder. i am using BIS and have tried deleting and re-adding the email account and also resending the service books. i tried looking around but couldn't see the same problem which makes me think it's something simple I'm missing. it's nothing to do with sent messages which i have no problems with.

I have two different hotmail account synced with my Blackberry. One of my hotmail accounts is receiving emails just fine to my blackberry. The other is not receiving any! I have tried sending serivice books and a battery pull. What else am I missing? Yesterday they both worked fine and now today only one works.

At 4:30am this morning, my email was working as normal, but when I checked again at 7am, it was not receiving emails, although I can send them to myself. I had my wife try from her work email and I have gone to my laptop and all email functions are normal. Do you need to know that I am on Verizon.

I have a curve 8330 through verizon. for the last two days i have been receiving all of my emails constantly every hour. i have over 400 "new" emails in my inbox, most of which i have already received and have been receiving for the past two days. they are all coming in at the same time and have flooded my inbox and are slowing down my phone. i went to verizon yesterday and they re-freshed my connection with gmail but it didn't do anything to help.

So, Ive had my blackberry for a few months now and it was working fine but then earlier today it stopped receiving emails... I have 3 emails linked two hotmail and one Gmail...I have deleted and re added the emails and still nothing the odd email comes through. I'm in the UK have a curve 8250 and my network is Virgin Mobile.

I'm having receiving emails on my BB. I receieved an email on my BB this morning saying I needed to validate my password to continue receiving emails on my BB. Unfortunately I cannot remember what password I used when I set it up several years ago.
I went to the BB internet service website to do a 'forgotten password' request but unfortunately the password reminder email is not coming into my main email inbox on my laptop and is only going to my BB, but because my BB is not recieivng emails I cannot retrieve the password, so I am in a bit of a catch 22 situation.
