View 9 RepliesPhone will not vibrate when receiving Emails (8530). I tried changing and editing the profile for Vibrate only, everything looks right but yet its still doesnt work.
View 8 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, I can't receive emails on my @sprint.blackberry.net account. My Yahoo, AOL and Gmail work just fine. I signed up for a BB address on my phone's browser. When I try to log in on my desktop, it says my device is not accessible and I must visit the website on my phone. I have tried sending emails TO my phone and sending emails FROM my phone. Neither one works.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have had my bb curve for a few months now, no real problems. suddenly it refuses to grab net, any other servers, or send/receive any mms. tried the battery pull reboot several times, no change. signal showes 1xev. signal strength is fine. followed several other forms of advice given on other similar problems, they either dont apply or dont fix the problem. problem started two days ago.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi just purchased a Verizon BB 8530 on Ebay. FCopied my local PRL file on it and got it configured on my local network (Mauritius).
I am unable to receive calls (NO NUMBER DISPLAYING) and my service provider asked me to contact blackberry as all their setting are ok. ARROW TOP RIGHT CORNER BLINKS when caller is ringing my number but no number displaying.
I can receive call only on call waiting. I can't even see the call waiting options to disablem it on my blackberry.
I was wondering if there's any option that allow you to send a message to someone who actually is calling you, like when you're in a meeting and you get a phone call but you can't answer but instead send a default message right away like "call me back later". Is this possible?
View 4 Replies View RelatedOver last 24 hours I cannot get emails or access internet. Everytime I try to reset the email the message comes up "your device had a problem connecting to the server".
View 1 Replies View RelatedHaven't received messages all day. Tried to go to set up and reset the email;however, it will not connect. Need my emails.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some reason I am only receiving a portion of my emails on my 8330 blackberry curve. I have had my carrier's support desk (Verizon) walk me through procedures to make sure I am capable of receiving these messages (which I am receiving on my computer, but not all show up on the blackberry).........and now I am hearing from Verizon that I need to contact Blackberry support. Is there a # to call? I don't know where to start. I can see on the Blackberry email setup icon that I have my verizon email address listed there with the correct password (and again, I am receiving some messages, just not all). Am I missing something here?
p.s. Also, I can't tell a difference between the emails that show up and those that do not...it's not like it's all the 'gmail and yahoo' messages that I don't receive, for instance...seems to be random.
My old BB 9300 became faulty so i returned & recieved new BB 9300 yesterday. I set up my email (hotmail) and recieved notification that it was regiesterd but no emails have arrived but my inbox has 23. I can send email from BB
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter initial setup, I'm able to receive SOME, but not all, e-mails on my BB Curve 8530. The others not received on my BB DO appear in Outlook 2007. I can't seem to identify any difference between those e-mails I receive on the BB and those I don't. On the recommendation of my web hosting company, I'm using their IMAP server. POP3 remains an option too. I have completed the registration and reconciliation processes. I've consulted with my web hosting company, and with both Verizon Wireless and RIM;
View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter setting up my phone I was recieving e-mails fine however I am no longer recieving any e-mails. It appears that this could be a common problem, being as it is in the troubleshooting in the manual however... I cannot seem to solve it.
I have tried sending service books. Nothing appears to happen as a result of this. I have tried deleting the account from the phone and then adding it again but that doesnt appear to have worked. I didn't recieve an activation message when i re-added it and I don't know if that is important!
I think it may have happened around about when I was solving another problem and I installed the desktop software and backed up and restored all data. I am wondering if some settings got changed somehow as it is since then that I have not recieved any messages.
I am receiving old emails from 3 contacts, over and over onto my BB Bold.I have tried everything to stop them, but they just keep on coming in.An example is an email received two days ago, from a friend, just keeps on coming in, even after deleting the contact and changing my gmail password. All the emails are gmail-based.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have 3 emails accounts set on my device and they used to work perfectly. i dont know what happend but now dont work. Ive erased the email and set it back and doesnt work. I fe el that this problemas migth something to do with syncronization or so. Also i send the book service for each accounts and i dont receive it. View 8 Replies View RelatedHad a BB in the past but never needed to use it with my 4 pop e-mail accounts. Just switched from HTC Snap to a new BB curve 8530 and it does not seem to do what I need it to. On the snap it would check for new messages from all 4 pop accounts hourly and when doing so any new unread messages on the pop server would go to the snap phone and any deletions that were made on the pop server were removed from the snap phone also. I am sure BB has a way to do this but I am not seeing where or how to set this up. So far it seems I have to delete it on my BB to delete it off both but it will not take deletions from the pop and remove them from the BB. I have so many e-mails I have to manage and it is making me want to go back to the Snap since this is causing a lot more work.
Also, is it normal for PDF files to take a while to load and become clear to view as e-mail attachments? I seem to be waiting a while in comparison to the snap I had prior.
I just upgraded my 8530 to OS 5, funny thing though, when I'm not at home on my WiFi, I don't receive my emails, the browser doesn't seem to find anything (sticks are "requesting") and the FB app doesn't work. However, when I am away from my WiFi, my Pandora App still streams music from the web, so I'm wondering if there are any settings that may have been reset regarding the internet or data?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble receiving and keeping emails. BT yahoo is my main web mail address, although I now open everything in windows mail, but my blackberry is not receiving anything at the moment. This has been an on going problem and I don't know where the fault lies, sometimes I receive emails, but then they disappear once opened, or I don't receive them at all!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently replaced my 8900, and I'm not exactly sure what I did wrong. Before I moved all my email accounts over to the new phone, I apparently set up my Gmail account on the phone wrong. At any rate, I keep getting my Gmail messages via SMS message. It's driving me crazy! It shows the sender as "700."
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy blackberry suddenly stopped receiving e-mails and when I go to the Options menu I do not see an email settings prompt so cannot fix it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe track-pad on my BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 stopped working so Sprint replaced my BlackBerry earlier today and I haven't received an email yet on my new BlackBerry. Email setup brings me to the screen where I, "Move Email Accounts", and after I click it, it says that the device change was successful and prompts me to enter my password. After doing so, it takes me to a screen to synchronize my contacts and when I click that, it says, "Activation failed. An error was encountered when sending the activation transmission." I REALLY don't feel like running down to Sprint again and asking them to configure the email for me. I need my emails.

View 5 Replies View RelatedFor the past 2 days, I have been unable to receive any of my Outlook emails to my phone. I have 5 different email addresses that go to my phone and the only ones that are giving me problems are my 2 Outlook emails. I am able to send messages from them, but am not able to receive any. I am getting all of my messages in Outlook, so I think there is some kind of incoming server issue with Outlook and Blackberry. Here are the things that I have tried (with no success):1, I have tried to send my Service Books several times2. Tried deleting and recreating the email addresses on the phone.3. Tried several battery pulls for a rebootDDED INFO:Your carrier: T-MobileModel info and OS version (Go to Settings, then Options, then about): Blackberry 8900, v5.0.0.900
View 1 Replies View RelatedDon't know what is going on, can't send MMS, SMS, or any Emails.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIt's been happening since this today, when I receive a SMS or email the phone rings/vibrates and everything, then when I go to to the SMS&MMS or email icon nothing new is there. Earlier this morning everything was fine, I was sending/receiving texts without any problem. Then I connected my bb to my computer and opened desktop manager, received a SMS while it was plugged in, I tried reading it and saw nothing. That's exactly when I started having this issue. The only unusual thing was that I was running warcraft 3 at the same time but that has nothing to do with the bb. I already tried turning off the phone then turning it back on, did a battery pull using quickpull, did a battery pull physically and it's still the same.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have recently had to reformat my 8900 and for some reason after setting up my gmail account i an receiving one copy of each email in my gmail folder and also recieving another copy of the same email in my messages folder. this means that i really am recieving 1 in the email folder and 2copies of the same email in the messages folder. i am using BIS and have tried deleting and re-adding the email account and also resending the service books. i tried looking around but couldn't see the same problem which makes me think it's something simple I'm missing. it's nothing to do with sent messages which i have no problems with.
