Apr 3, 2011I cannot view HTML emails on my Blackberry Curve 8530, but when I go to email options, HTML is selected. Why isn't it working?

Jul 29, 2010I have html emails enabled and download images automatically set to yes. why does all new emails that arrive on my blackberry still have missing images? i have to hit get images inorder to see those images? anyone experiencing the same issues on their 8520?

Jan 17, 2010I'm wondering why I can't view full HTML emails on my Storm2 like the iPhone or Droid? What I mean is I never automatically see the pictures or the email that it would normally show as in a regular email. Is it supposed to do this? A "shrunk" down email on bb? I always thought it can render everything in the email but each time I open my email (gamestop, HP deals for example) it never loads fully.I know theres apps that can help but is that the only solution? It will always only be plain text on blackberries and never full HTML?

May 5, 2010I could not seem to find the right postings to help me with this.I attached a simple small .jpg file and sent it to the new Sprint 8530 BB phone to use as a desktop background.The attachment is a 'Winmail.dat' file. I have downloaded the file to what I thought to me the picture folder but it does not show up.
1) Is there a setting that would automatically show the attached pics like on my old Tmobile Blackberry? (Like an 8320 series)
If I have to 'Download images' manually everytime, I am taking this thing (actually 3 of them) back to Sprint and going back to T-mobile.

Mar 27, 2010I got the Curve 8530 on Verizon... I receive a text message from a person, go to the sms icon on my home screen and click on it. My bb shows the new message with the persons's name and a preview of the text. I click on it to view it but it doesnt open the conversation. Then I'll try an older conversation and it works fine. But what is strange is that it will only continue to happen to that one contact. So ill receive a new text from someone else and i can read it with no problems.

May 29, 2010I've gotten texts from several different people over the past couple days and I can open all of them but one...my friend is texting me from a Verizon phone and she is the only one from Verizon who's texts I can't open. My company has several E72 Nokias & NONE can view emails due to a html bug in the Nokia E72.If I can change my emails to be viewed in html that might be better. I also get a sync error after emails have downloaded & all i can see if the subject of the email. All other phones on our network that are not Nokia have no problems viewing emails.

Everytime I get an email, it never downloads emails automatically. I've got my settings so that it is supposed to, but when I open one up, I just have image boxes with no images. Is there anything special I need to do? I normally just go into options and hit get images, but it would be nice if this were done automatically.

Dec 4, 2015I got my unlocked dual-sim 950 last week. All is good except for the new Outlook Mail app. It does fine with plain text emails, but cannot render HTML (web style) emails correctly at all. The formatting looks horrible and many items and images are just missing.
I read on another forum that this was due to the new Outlook app using MS Word as its rendering engine, rather than Internet Explorer, as was the case with Windows Phone 8.1 on my old Lumia 920. If the e-mail happens to contains a "view in browser" link, then it will open correctly in the Edge browser.
But many HTML emails don't have such a link. A decent email client should be able to render most correctly-coded HTML emails perfectly. Funny thing is that Outlook is supposed to be a Universal Windows App and it works fine on my Windows 10 desktop, but not on my phone.

Apr 14, 2012I have 3 emails accounts set on my device and they used to work perfectly. i dont know what happend but now dont work. Ive erased the email and set it back and doesnt work. I fe el that this problemas migth something to do with syncronization or so. Also i send the book service for each accounts and i dont receive it. Feb 12, 2010Had a BB in the past but never needed to use it with my 4 pop e-mail accounts. Just switched from HTC Snap to a new BB curve 8530 and it does not seem to do what I need it to. On the snap it would check for new messages from all 4 pop accounts hourly and when doing so any new unread messages on the pop server would go to the snap phone and any deletions that were made on the pop server were removed from the snap phone also. I am sure BB has a way to do this but I am not seeing where or how to set this up. So far it seems I have to delete it on my BB to delete it off both but it will not take deletions from the pop and remove them from the BB. I have so many e-mails I have to manage and it is making me want to go back to the Snap since this is causing a lot more work.
Also, is it normal for PDF files to take a while to load and become clear to view as e-mail attachments? I seem to be waiting a while in comparison to the snap I had prior.

Apr 21, 2010It's been happening since this today, when I receive a SMS or email the phone rings/vibrates and everything, then when I go to to the SMS&MMS or email icon nothing new is there. Earlier this morning everything was fine, I was sending/receiving texts without any problem. Then I connected my bb to my computer and opened desktop manager, received a SMS while it was plugged in, I tried reading it and saw nothing. That's exactly when I started having this issue. The only unusual thing was that I was running warcraft 3 at the same time but that has nothing to do with the bb. I already tried turning off the phone then turning it back on, did a battery pull using quickpull, did a battery pull physically and it's still the same.
