View 6 Replies View RelatedI moved to BlackBerry Bold 9700 about two weeks ago. Everything works great, except for one issue. Images in my HTML email messages don't download. I have tried all combinations of settings on automatically download images and confirm images download, in the Options > Email Settings menu. What happens is: When I hard reset the phone (take out the battery and reinsert it), and then do Get Images, images download. However, this continues only for some 3-4 hours, or say about 10-15 messages. After a point, Get Images doesn't download images. Even the arrows on the top right of the screen, that indicate an attempt to download, don't come. It almost seems like the phone has kept a limited space aside to download images in HTML messages, and this space is filled up and hence it stops downloading. The moment the battery is taken out and reinserted, Get Images works. But again for some time only.Tried taking Vodafone's help. They updated my Service Book, which according to them is the "standard solution" to Images downloading problem. But nothing happened. Which is expected, because they were possibly giving me a solution for images never downloading. In my case, they download for a bit, and then refuse to, till hard reset.Tried finding where any memory related settings could be there. Found a thing in Settings > Memory > Compression. Tried both Enabled and Disabled, it doesn't help.

Can anybody tell me that how to enable HTML formatted emails in nokia e72? I Owned a E71 & it has such a feature that I can activate HTML formatted email & Non-HTML formated emails. But I don't find any feature in Nokia E72. I receive all the mails as text messages. I use Other Emails.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAs I say, is there a setting on the Nokia E72 where i can set my emails to be read by plain text instead of html? My company has several E72 Nokias & NONE can view emails due to a html bug in the Nokia E72.If I can change my emails to be viewed in html that might be better. I also get a sync error after emails have downloaded & all i can see if the subject of the email. All other phones on our network that are not Nokia have no problems viewing emails.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am running 5.0.0.419 right now on my VZW Tour. I don't know if this is normal or not, but I'm having some HTML E-Mail issues. Everytime I get an email, it never downloads emails automatically. I've got my settings so that it is supposed to, but when I open one up, I just have image boxes with no images. Is there anything special I need to do? I normally just go into options and hit get images, but it would be nice if this were done automatically.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI got my unlocked dual-sim 950 last week. All is good except for the new Outlook Mail app. It does fine with plain text emails, but cannot render HTML (web style) emails correctly at all. The formatting looks horrible and many items and images are just missing.
I read on another forum that this was due to the new Outlook app using MS Word as its rendering engine, rather than Internet Explorer, as was the case with Windows Phone 8.1 on my old Lumia 920. If the e-mail happens to contains a "view in browser" link, then it will open correctly in the Edge browser.
But many HTML emails don't have such a link. A decent email client should be able to render most correctly-coded HTML emails perfectly. Funny thing is that Outlook is supposed to be a Universal Windows App and it works fine on my Windows 10 desktop, but not on my phone.
I'm wondering why I can't view full HTML emails on my Storm2 like the iPhone or Droid? What I mean is I never automatically see the pictures or the email that it would normally show as in a regular email. Is it supposed to do this? A "shrunk" down email on bb? I always thought it can render everything in the email but each time I open my email (gamestop, HP deals for example) it never loads fully.I know theres apps that can help but is that the only solution? It will always only be plain text on blackberries and never full HTML?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI live outside the US and own a Blackberry Bold 9700 which has Blackberry Enterprise Service; I recently purchased a Bold 9930 unlocked from verizon in the US and wish to use it instead of my old 9700. How can I go about switching the Blackberry service from my old phone to my new 9930?
I am able to make calls with the 9930 but have been unable to activate the Enterprise service on it. I have tried using the desktop software to switch devices but that seems to have only transfered the data from my old phone to the new one.
When I get emails when I select download images nothing happens. I get all the text and place holders for the images and that's it. It use to work but now dosent.

View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing the Outlook app, all three of my accounts (Outlook, Gmail, Office365 work email) aren't showing any embedded images...instead, it shows an error in place of each picture (box with an x in it, with an error message). This happens even if I set the setting to automatically download pictures.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded to the official RIM release of 7.1 from [URL] which means that I'm running 7.1 .0.205. With this I get the Mobile Hotspot functionality, finally! I've configured the APN username and password requested, and created a 16 charactor password for the hotspot itself. I've verified these are correct. Now, whenever I try to enable the Mobile Hotspot, I get a pop up error message that states:"The mobile data network that your device is connected to does not support this feature" with the title "Mobile HotSpot".To complicate matters, I am currently abroad, and hence roaming away from my home network. However, I can confirm that I am able to access the internet on the built in browser and can send and receive emails on the blackberry itself.
On another note, I thought that maybe the problem may be incorrect APN settings, so I tried to access the 'Mobile HotSpot' settings in order to update this, and I get a very unhelpful message that says:'Before Opening Mobile HotSpot Options, go to Manage Connections and turn on Mobile Hotspot'Clearly, I can't do that, so am pretty much stuck. I found that wiping the device allows me to re enter the credentials, and these still do not work. I even tried to add in the APN details of the network that I am roaming onto, and still no luck.

I've been sending quite a few texts and emails with pictures attached for the last few weeks and then only recently realized that they were not being received. Text or emails by themselves with links or just words are fine. Also I tried to set an appointment with an email invitation to others and that also isn't working ever after trying it multiple times.

1. Is this possible from the built-in browser ? I can do it from Opera Mini, but haven't found a straightforward method for the Nokia browser.
2. The images I did download are very small (certainly smaller than the were when uploaded). Is it possible to download the full-sized image ? If not, is this a phone/browser or Facebook limitation ?
I'm running .400 and I cannot figure out why my Gmail doesn't forward to my BB emails sent to myself.
