I restored my iPhone 4 the other day and since then when reading emails any images don't display and certain sites don't display properly like Facebook mobile.

If you rotate the phone it fixes itself, and displays the images as normal. I THINK it is only on mobile type sites but could be mistaken. It is like its rendering a tiny version and scaling it up to fill the screen. Which is kind of how mobile sites work on hi res phone displays but the images don't get reentered, they stay super blurry..
View 4 Replies View RelatedLast year I went on holiday and at the time I took lots of photos, around 500 in total. However some of the photos aren't displaying the image of the photo, just black or white squares. When I took the pictures they registered as pictures and you could see the photo without any problem. Soon after I returned home, when I tried to upload them to my laptop, I noticed some weren't displaying anything anymore. The photo thumbnail is just a black or white square, and when I tap on it pulls up the 'photo' but there is no image. I'm uploading them to Facebook and I thought it was just an issue with the file format (even though they were taken on the iPhone) and maybe they would display once uploaded, but they haven't. If I remember correctly, when I checked the file size on my laptop they read 0KB. What happened to my photos? Can I get them back?Â
This is what it looks like. They used to be photos but now they're blank thumbnails. The exact same happens but in black on some photos.

I'm currently running IOS 5.1.1 on an iphone 4, these messages can't be deleted. I have tried deleting and readding the account, restoring the iPhone and still nothing. This is happening for Gmail, Exchange, and icloud.

We're trying to send some tabular data from our internal email (Exchange Server with Outlook 2003 clients) by copying from Excel 2003 and pasting into Outlook. When the message is viewed on the Blackberry (Bold 9600) the layout is all screwed up. Column widths change and it seems to randomly wrap onto a new line, sometimes with what appears to be multiple lines in between. We've tried various options (HTML mail, pictures (bitmap and metafile, the latter appearing as .gif files) and whilst the picture option seems the best so far, it still gets distorted, presumably by re-sizing.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have had problems with emails in my Microsoft Exchange account not displaying (completely blank body), not showing correct HTML content, and in some cases not showing the sender address. Now I don't know if it is inappropriate to say so on this forum, but I rooted the phone in order to uninstall the Moto email client, and install the stock ICS email client. Once I did that, none of my emails are blank, most HTML content shows correctly, and other quirky issues seem to have improved. But, the stock email client also does not have a search feature (big problem), you cannot swipe in the message list, and it's application icon does not show a badge for the number of unread emails. So it is a bit of a sacrifice to have to revert to the stock client just to be able to read my email. I have also tried TouchDown email and it displays all the Exchange emails fantastically, but it's look and feel is a bit crummy and it costs $20.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was in gmail and I thought all of the e-mails in the All Mail folder were old/deleted emails. I checked the first hundred and they were all old. So I deleted them and that moved them to the Trash. Then I deleted the Trash. Apparently ALL of my e-mails were in the All Mail folder.. but that's not what it appeared when I looked in the All Mail folder to make sure that wasn't the case.
I use IMAP with my gmail account. They are gone when I log into gmail. They are gone in Thunderbird. But I have not updated my mail on my iPhone...any chance I can recover them from there?

Everything is superb however 1 thing is annoying me and i cant seem to sort it, ive had a look round the forum and cant see this elsewhere.
When viewing "Messages" im getting Emails but its also displaying BBM messages too, the help files say check Filters but i dont even have that as an option when clicking Menu > Options. I just want Emails displayed in messages nothing else, SMS and MMS is together in another view, which is fine.
I would like to download images to my phone e.g. from my Facebook albums.
1. Is this possible from the built-in browser ? I can do it from Opera Mini, but haven't found a straightforward method for the Nokia browser.
2. The images I did download are very small (certainly smaller than the were when uploaded). Is it possible to download the full-sized image ? If not, is this a phone/browser or Facebook limitation ?
I had to wipe my Blackberry because of a camera problem. I had everything backed up in Blackberry Desktop Manager. None of my emails or MMS's were restored when I connected my Blackberry again to restore all of the data.
