If you rotate the phone it fixes itself, and displays the images as normal. I THINK it is only on mobile type sites but could be mistaken. It is like its rendering a tiny version and scaling it up to fill the screen. Which is kind of how mobile sites work on hi res phone displays but the images don't get reentered, they stay super blurry..

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo today I went to take some pictures on my 1520 and they all came out blurry. Verifying my phone I discovered that the camera is at fault shaking drastically. I can see from the rear of the phone that when I activate the camera in any app that uses it, it start jumping all around as if the electronic stabilization has gone bad. I did a restart with no luck. I do have a 2 year warrantee with the ms store so it wont be a problem to exchange. But I just don't want to have to redownload everything again.

At all corners and sides, the image is stretched. For example, if I take a photo of person whose head will be in the middle of the screen, then image comes out perfect.
But if I tilt my phone so that bring head close to top of the screen, then I see head is stretched.
This is very odd.. But after a factory reset Nokia Camera no longer shows the option to enable live images in the settings. Not sure how this could've happened. I came across the app "Lumia Camera Classic" which does allow me to enable this option.

Im using the 1520 and 1-2 times a day I have to restart my phone and "scan" my SD card because I get the message that I removed the card. It actually quite frustrating because it takes about 15 minutes to actually scan the SD card not to mention that I have to wait to reboot the phone.
I basically put all my movies, apps, and pictures on the card...using a 64GB Transcend PRO. I dont think the card is corrupt because I literally got it about 2 months ago.
I've searched all over the place and cant get at least a relating topic, off google searches or here.I just got the phone and what Ive noticed whenever I view still images in internet browser on my E72 they all appear blurry, like very bad quality, yet other images like the letters on Google Website are in high quality.Why is that?
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy nexus 6p is now about 1 month old and since yesterday i noticed my rear camera has been producing unfocused and blurry images. It also make a little cracking noise when i open the camera app or switch back to the rear camera from the front facing camera. I tried to clean the lens and I even buy fv camera 5 and try manual focus but it did not work. The images produces from the rear camera are now even worse than the front facing camera.

While mobile sites are nice, sometimes I need to see the real, actual site. Is there a way to force Safari to go to the real site? Some sites have a link to the real site, but others do not? I'd like it be MY choice whether I use a mobile version of site or not, but I can't currently figure out how to make Safari take me to the real site when a mobile one is available.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having the problem that some of the sites I use are blocked by ISPs in Denmark - torrent sites. Of course I use Googles DNS servers on my home WiFi - problem solved. I would also like to be able to use Googles DNS servers when on mobile data.
I would much rather change some system file that overwrites the APN settings, than install a VPN or DNS changer app.
I'm not rooted, running stock 6.0.1.
How can I stop the Safari browser from loading the mobile version of certain sites?

It seems like it takes pictures of close up things okay but anything else is hit or miss (more miss than anything). I use the pro cam app (The update today did not fix any of this). View 8 Replies View RelatedI am having a strange and irritating problem after upgrading Nokia E71 Symbian firmware to version 410..Nokia Web Browser displays broken images (the ones which are like icons, next to the user names in the news feed) on the Facebook Mobile website. Opera Mini Browser displays the page correctly. Nokia E61 Native Browser also displays the page correctly. Tried another web connection (i.e. different router etc) but problem persists.
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy 1020 seems to have a problem when set to infinity focus...the pictures end up a bit blurry. The strange thing is that on autofocus the picture is perfectly sharp...which makes me think this is a software issue rather than hardware.
I uploaded 2 pictures to show you the issue. Both were taken on a tripod and 2 seconds self timer to avoid handshake. ISO was set at 100 and everything else left on auto except for focus mode.

So I got my Icon over the weekend and I've been playing around with it and I have a few questions about the camera settings. I was taking some pictures, and noticed that sometimes they were a bit blurry/not focused. I cannot tell if its me or the camera. Also, when I zoom in on the pictures, I feel that it looks more grainy than they should.
Also, side note - has power, volume and camera button feel slightly wiggly/loose? I noticed the side buttons on my Icon are not as firm as they were on my 928.
I'm using my Lumia 950XL connected to an external monitor via the HD-500 display dock. All the fonts look blurry on the connected monitor. I tried using another HD-500 display dock, reset my phone and using other monitors and I get the same results. I tried monitors that supported different resolution (1920X1080 and lower) but I still find that the smaller fonts are blurry.

No matter what I do, the pictures are blurry. The farther away from the object I am, the blurrier they get. I know how to use my camera well, I have reset the settings on the camera app, done a soft reset on the phone, cleaned the lens, everything, but the pictures are still blurry.

Don't get me wrong, the Icon does take the best videos I've seen on a phone and the sound is perfect. But my pictures always seem to end up blurry rather even when I am holding still. View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a Nokia 1020 and i suspect that there are something wrong with the camera. The quality of the photos that i take are, in my opinion, nowhere near the ones you can se in reviews and those released by Nokia.
To me it looks like it's only the middle part of every photo that is correctly focused. The edges are very blurry. I have no case on the phone, no dirt on the lens and i have tried to reset the camera and reboot, no difference.
I will attach some photos on which I think you can see it clearly. The images are very sharp in the middle but when you move towards the edges it quickly becomes blurry. Both pictures are taken in daylight with Nokia Pro Cam, all settings on auto.

Is this really normal, i can't recall that I have had these issues on point-and-shoot cameras?
I also noticed that there are a rattling sound when i shake the phone or put it down on a table. I know that the lens is suspended in a "ball-bearing" so this is normal if the camera app are closed, however I get this sound even when the camera app is open and the camera has locked focus. I'm pretty sure the sound is coming from the camera optics. Is this normal?
Photos I take with 920 in day light and lowlight are not sharp and appears soft. Is this a general issue or something specific to my phone?

I have a Nokia Lumia 1020 with the 'Black' update.I have set the camera via settings to take JPEG(5 MP) +DNG (34 MP) - I have taken a good few pictures now. However, when I try to upload the pictures - I cant see any .DNG files - my files are listed as either WP_20140101_10_00_00_Raw.jpg or WP_20140101_10_00_00_Pro.jpg..how do i set fully for .DNG images and where are they located on the phone ?
