I need to know whether it is normal or is it issue with my Lumia 1520.
At all corners and sides, the image is stretched. For example, if I take a photo of person whose head will be in the middle of the screen, then image comes out perfect.
But if I tilt my phone so that bring head close to top of the screen, then I see head is stretched.
If you rotate the phone it fixes itself, and displays the images as normal. I THINK it is only on mobile type sites but could be mistaken. It is like its rendering a tiny version and scaling it up to fill the screen. Which is kind of how mobile sites work on hi res phone displays but the images don't get reentered, they stay super blurry..
This is very odd.. But after a factory reset Nokia Camera no longer shows the option to enable live images in the settings. Not sure how this could've happened. I came across the app "Lumia Camera Classic" which does allow me to enable this option.
Am I the only one having trouble with Nokia camera. Even with the living images turned off the picture comes out blurry slightly. I now have to use the bing camera. Using a 1520 in England on WP 8.1 with cyan. Since cyan I noticed the camera is like this
when i take a picture the top part of the picture gets stretched upwards and makes my head look distorted, my forehead looks huge and my eyebrows also get stretched.... is this normal in low light the camera has all these dots... also i would like to know if i can get these issues if valid fixed with the warranty i received from the shop i bought it from.
Once I've added a face (image) to the contact, that image is displayed full screen when the person calls. No problem, how to fix that ridiculous stretched view? Its like the aspect ratio has gone doolally?
I am having issues with some Apps like the game Jewel with graphics not being stretched to the full size of screen.Just started after 3.2 update from yesterday. Is this a video compatibility issue with some Apps not updating yet to catch up with 3.2?
I have a Nokia Lumia 1020 with the 'Black' update.I have set the camera via settings to take JPEG(5 MP) +DNG (34 MP) - I have taken a good few pictures now. However, when I try to upload the pictures - I cant see any .DNG files - my files are listed as either WP_20140101_10_00_00_Raw.jpg or WP_20140101_10_00_00_Pro.jpg..how do i set fully for .DNG images and where are they located on the phone ?
i can't login anymore...give me an error: username or password incorect, and when i try to change passwor ....still this error How i can put multiple icons (message,calls,browser...etc) in one of my homescreen corner...
Perhaps i'm preaching to the converted, but since hi-res images do not show up as thumbnails, just as DNG files when looking at the files on the phone, using windows explorer,i decided to copy all the hi-res images to a new folder on the computer. On looking at the new folder in explorer, thumbnails where being shown, but with strange purple and green casts.I then decided to run all the images through Adobes DNG convertor, and lo and behold all the images where now normal, and easily viewable.
If I reformat my SD card in my ATT 950 (since it seems to be wreaking all sorts of having since I installed it), will the pictures that have been uploaded to OneDrive still contain the "Living Images" 1 second video clip?
Alternatively, is there a way to move the pictures/videos from the SD to the internal storage, reformat the SD card, and then move them back without having them re-uploaded to OneDrive after moving them?
I just bought a 1020 and I'm really not sure how to access the full resolution images I've taken. The phone is supposed to take two images, one over-sampled 5 mpixel image, and another at full resolution. I used the Windows Phone app to upload my images to my PC, and when I look at the info I see the images are 3072x1729 @ 72 dpi. Surely that's not the full res image?
Finally took the plunge and bought a 1020. Just starting to learn how to use it and was wondering how I can access the hi res images ? In the settings I selected 5mp & 34mp in "Capture Mode," but when I connect the camera to my pc, all I see are the low res images.
Using the Outlook app, all three of my accounts (Outlook, Gmail, Office365 work email) aren't showing any embedded images...instead, it shows an error in place of each picture (box with an x in it, with an error message). This happens even if I set the setting to automatically download pictures.
I have been getting used to using LC5 like many of you but was curious about what I can really do with the Living Images function. I took a picture of my son with the rich capture turned on and when I view the living images the first few frames are perfect, but when the living image (video) finishes the end result is a blurry and unusable photo.
How do I control what shortcut icons appear in the screen corners ?? And yes I have attempted to glean the info from the manual but without success. My immediate problem is that the bottom left & botton right icons have changed to something I never use, which makes it a PITA to find the applications I really want there.
I'm considering purchasing a Lumia 1020, I'm looking for a little clarification on the camera.I've read that the full res images don't get uploaded to SkyDrive, this is pretty important to me, the main reason I like my existing Lumia is the auto-upload of images, and I don't have to plug in a USB cable. Is this correct, or do the full res images get uploaded. If it only works over WiFi, that's fine.
Today I acquired a Lumia 1020, black, from the at&t store. Have to admit, I was super excited until I got home and saw the images this thing produces. Maybe I got a bad phone, but I doubt it. The images are incredibly noisy, and I expected much better.I'm looking at the images with high-res in the file name. And all of these were on automatic settings (except for one or two where I turned the flash to "assist only".)
Is it this bad everywhere? Maybe a bad phone? The images is horribly oversampled and pixelated even at low zoom levels, or default "just looking at the picture". My Lumia 920 doesn't look like this on normal photos (when you don't zoom in). URL...
Possible to restore high res photos on the 1020 after flashing? Before flashing my 1020 with a country variant, I backed up all my images (pro and high res) to the computer then after flashing, I copied them back to the phone. However, when viewing the images in the gallery or even from ProCam, there's no option to view the image in ProCam so effectively, I have lost the ability to view the high res versions. This is a bit of a shame as I can no longer show off the impressive pinch to zoom as well as other features.
How I delete images from the phone? I use the windows phone app on my Mac but it when I delete all the images via the app it still shows that there is still images on the phone even though my camera roll on the actual phone shows no images. It's still showing 7GB worth of images on the windows phone app when the phone is connected to the app. I even deleted all media content and it still shows it.
I bought a NOKIA 1020 yesterday. After I connected it to a wi-fi it did multiple updates and now the windows version is 8.10.14226.359.An update in the Store was stuck and in another thread the restore factory defaults option was proposed, and so I did a factory reset after all the OS updates had taken place. After that I also updated all applications in the Store. The problem is, that only one Camera application is installed on the phone and I cannot find the NOKIA camera app which allows the 38 MP raw images to be captured. I searched the Store for the NOKIA camera app, but nothing came up.The question is how can I shoot 38 MPixel raw images in windows version 8.10.14226.359.
I'm using Outlook Mail with an Outlook account on the Lumia 950 XL.Despite changing the settings to download the whole e-mail and images, non of the images are actually visible, they are all x-ed out. Images show up for the same e-mail just fine in outlook.com and in Outlook 2016.
