Once I've added a face (image) to the contact, that image is displayed full screen when the person calls. No problem, how to fix that ridiculous stretched view? Its like the aspect ratio has gone doolally?
View 15 RepliesI had the tour first and since upgrading to .732 since the BOLD has the same software and i now have the bold 9650-verizon. When my phone rings the last callers name will come up first then automatically change to current caller.Has this been happening to anyone?

I would expect, like every other phone I've ever seen, that it would display the associated name.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just bought a Nokia 2220 slide, and have always had Nokias and loved them, as easy to use. However, I can not make this phone display the number that is calling? For example I have added my home number as a contact, as well as my partners mobile, and both phones when they ring it comes up as "call" and then if I miss the call, it states (no number). And I know for a fact both of these numbers are not private. Is there a setting I need to change to make the number display? I have turned on my info display for other callers, but this has not helped.

Every time I got a phone call, it would always say it was Stephanie, but it wasn't. Then, when I'd go into my call logs, it'd show the accurate names of the people who called me.

Now...any incoming call...from any of my contacts...it says 'unknown'.
I have played with the app's Merge+ and Contacts+....nope....just will not show the contact name of incoming call. (Just want these contacts to reside IN my phone...just like they nice and simply did in my old Nokia).
After updating my Neo V to 4.1.B.0.431, contact image in the call screen is very unclear and it's displaying as mixture of pixles. I dint face this on 2.3.4

Having noticed some people have been having same problems,I have checked that I do not have any duplicate numbers stored, and have also tried saving only to sim or only to phone but neither are allowing the number to be displayed. I run my own business so this is getting annoying as if I miss a call I don't have a clue who it is and can not return any calls!! Can anybody help!

1) When I am purchased mobile it continuously hanged. After that I went it to nokia customer care gallery. They update my firmware & replace my MMC card. Then problem was reduced but now it hang when I use any application more than 1hrs. Like music player.
2) There is another problem it was related to image format. When I captured any image the process was too slow. 1st it capture in .nrw format after some time i.e. min. 30sec. It will convert into Jpg format (Standard).
3) When I connect phone to PC, Getting any data via Bluetooth & every re-insert time of mmc card one log file was created (BGSA_UPLOAD)

View 3 Replies View RelatedFirst, I had to call Simple Mobile because the internet configuration settings they provide online we no good so they message the settings to your phone and all you have to do is save them.Then, today I was trying to access my contacts to add people and it said "Contact service provider for synchronization settings."Then, I called Simple Mobile again and the woman said enter 0000, 1111, 4444, or 1234 and none of those codes worked because she wanted me to reset it to factory settings. She said something about there being no support for that phone and to call Nokia.Then, I called Nokia and luckily the person was nice and it was pretty much the same thing except this time the code was 12345. After I reset it my contacts worked so I thought that problem was finally solved but no because then my internet didn't work so I had to call Simple Mobile again to get it working.After all of that and when I finally thought it was over with now my phone says, "Contacts not available yet. Try again later." I bought this phone thinking it would was the best for the price and on the Simple Mobile website it had it as approved phones for use but now that I have it it's being a pain. I need to view my contacts and be able to add people.I think the problem is is that this phone is supposed to be for T-Mobile and I wish there was a way to turn the synchonization off in Menu>Settings>Sync & backup>Synchronization. I feel so lied to because I thought this phone would work well with my service and I didn't have this problem before I connected it.

When viewing "Messages" im getting Emails but its also displaying BBM messages too, the help files say check Filters but i dont even have that as an option when clicking Menu > Options. I just want Emails displayed in messages nothing else, SMS and MMS is together in another view, which is fine.
This is so retarded, i get a msg come in it opens into conversation view?. I want normal Inbox view.... that means i have to close message not open it, go to menue messaging inbox? Also wants me to reply via convo view its so tiny Nokia fix this with update disable Convo view choice??

At all corners and sides, the image is stretched. For example, if I take a photo of person whose head will be in the middle of the screen, then image comes out perfect.
But if I tilt my phone so that bring head close to top of the screen, then I see head is stretched.
when i take a picture the top part of the picture gets stretched upwards and makes my head look distorted, my forehead looks huge and my eyebrows also get stretched.... is this normal in low light the camera has all these dots... also i would like to know if i can get these issues if valid fixed with the warranty i received from the shop i bought it from.

How to save it, there seems to be no option for that? I keep finger on attachment but does not appear any menu to save, under options there also no save.
