I have a Nokia E72 device.When a contact calls me I see his/her number, but I don't see his/her name, although I have the name with the number in the contacts list. What should I do in order to see the name of the contact when s/he calls me?

in my n85 sometimes when sombody calls me his no. cannot be seen. i cheked it in recieved calls there shows in written''no number''.I checked the call log for this there also it is written ''no number''.i restored factory setting and again formated it but no improvement.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just bought a Nokia 2220 slide, and have always had Nokias and loved them, as easy to use. However, I can not make this phone display the number that is calling? For example I have added my home number as a contact, as well as my partners mobile, and both phones when they ring it comes up as "call" and then if I miss the call, it states (no number). And I know for a fact both of these numbers are not private. Is there a setting I need to change to make the number display? I have turned on my info display for other callers, but this has not helped.
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust got Lumia 710 2 days ago, and upgraded it in Zune to the latest, and now I notice when I call from iphone 4s, it does not show the caller's number. However if I call from other cell phone or primus voip, it's fine.I have tried to swap the sim cards between Lumia 710 and iphone 4s, I still have the exact the same issue, so I am sure it's something to do with the phone not carrier.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have read about this on this forum and others. I cant find a definitive answer. I have three contacts that are also in my ICE (in case of emergency) contact. They are my wife, my mom, and my parent's house.
When my wife calls I just see her number and her photo on the caller id. - No ICE.
When either my parents home or mom call I get ICE and MOM, but no photo. I have searched through all the ways I listed these contacts and cannot figure out how I got my wife's to "work". I want a way to tell the phone to not display the caller id from ICE.
I cannot find the number of a previous caller. Am I missing an icon? I don't see the "telephone"
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just installed spb windows mobile shell 3.5 on my phone everyhting works great except for the caller id. When getting an incoming call only the picture shows up, but no name or number at all. The funny thing is if i ignore, then all the info shows up in my missed calls list. Is this a bug in the spb software or is there a windows setting i missed? P.S. I've already tried the registry fix for call id match, ive used the key value 7, 10, and 11 hoping it would recognize, but it doesnt.

I bought a BB 9650 unlocked from Verizon, and i am using it in Canada with Fido, and when i get phone calls from people, it shows up as unknown number, but i realize i have these people numbers stored on my contact list super weird.
When I get a text or phone call from someone that is in my contacts list, only their number appears on my phone, not their name. Is their a fix for this??
View 4 Replies View RelatedOk I have a new problem which I think was caused by me accidentally deleting my email live tile I could not find how to replace the tile it was only tonight that I realised that it was listed as linked inbox!
anyway the only way I could see to replace the tile was to remove and add my email accounts.
Now when I get a call I get the incoming number but not the name and if I look in the call history there is just the number, when I look later it has the name displayed.
Why the names are not being displayed, I am tempted to do a full reset but my 920 bricked when I did it and it is not back from repair yet so I am scarred to do it on my 1020.
I have been getting blocked calls and it has been getting annoying. I finally found a website that reveals the caller and it needs the pin number. But I have no idea what it is.

I had the tour first and since upgrading to .732 since the BOLD has the same software and i now have the bold 9650-verizon. When my phone rings the last callers name will come up first then automatically change to current caller.Has this been happening to anyone?

When I received a phone call on the 8830, if number was in my address book, the screen would show the name of the person, their location (work, home, etc), and the number as I had it formatted in the address book, such as (555) 555-5555.I imported the address book to my Tour, and everything looks exactly the same as far as how the data is formatted in each contact.However, when a person calls, the phone just shows the persons name with an unformatted phone number, such as 5554445565, and does not show where the person is calling from, such as (Home), like the 8830 did.

I purchased an unlocked Telus Storm 2 - 9550. Currently using this phone on the Rogers network. Phone works great, but caller id does not fully work. If someone calls me on a land line the caller id works great and name appears as in my contact list. If someone calls me on a cell phone I get unknown number. I have tried battery pull and tried changing encryption or the smart dialing settings.

I think my texts are going to other devices but i dont know which ones. Is there a way to see this without having the device just so i can see a list that is using my cell phone number.
