IPhone :: Two Contacts Same Number / Caller ID / Just Want One To Show

I have read about this on this forum and others. I cant find a definitive answer. I have three contacts that are also in my ICE (in case of emergency) contact. They are my wife, my mom, and my parent's house.
When my wife calls I just see her number and her photo on the caller id. - No ICE.
When either my parents home or mom call I get ICE and MOM, but no photo. I have searched through all the ways I listed these contacts and cannot figure out how I got my wife's to "work". I want a way to tell the phone to not display the caller id from ICE.

I have this weird problem on my 3GS. This is what happens:
1. Someone calls me from number not in my contacts.
2. I go to my "recents" and click the arrow, and then "create new contact".
3. I type a name (Lyle) and click "save".
4. In "recents" the number now shows up as "Lyle", everything seems ok.
5. In the "contacts app" Lyle does not exist. Therefore also does not sync with mobileme.
If I add a contact in the contact app itself, everything works fine.

I loaded all my accounts and all my contacts are there but when someone calls the caller id doesnt match to my contacts and just shows the number, if I go to save that call to a contact, the number is already there..

A friend, with an older version of Galaxy Note, can Show only contacts with phone number on his contact list. It's seem to be impossible with my S6... Is it possible to add the trick? Or maybe I Missed something.

i'm having a problem with the 2 leaks for 9550 i just installed the newest and the same problem i live in Saudi Arabia and the smart dialing says smart dialing is not available for this country numbers will be diled without modification. can someone help me or do i have to replace my 9550 with something that have this feature and + i cant modify the call forwarding it's not there in the options Q: why blackberrys always tend to **** me off

I called the phone company, and they gave me this code I plug it in call pay money to get the service of Blocking my number when calling someone. I signed up for the service, but when I went to Settings --> Phone --> Show Callers ID, I was not able to turn it OFF, it was blocked to ON. What do I do to make it work, I really don't want to jailbreak my iPhone for this.

When I call people whether it is landline or cellular it shows up private/unkown. my Iphone 3gs is unlocked for T-Mobile I called them and they said it has to be because of Apple, This has never happened before.

I have an iPhone 4s. All software is up to date but the setting to turn Show My Caller ID is greyed out on OFF and can't be changed.
I have contacted my carrier and it is enabled from their end.I have put my SIM in another 4s and the setting works on that phone.
I have done a full restore and reset all settings with no success.

When receiving a text off someone in my contacts their name does not show just the number (however it does not do this with everyone - just a few). I've searched for duplicates and there are none, all my numbers are saved to phone memory and begin with 07. What is wrong?

when somebody calls me, phone shows who is calling and everything that it should show ,but when i answer it moves callers name, picture, time and everything that goes with call and it shows on the top of the screen that i have active call but i can not see anything about that call unless i press menu button for multitasking and than change to phone. i had three e71's but i never had this problem. i tried with removing active desktop

After upgrading to OS 5 on my BB storm 9500 caller id contact wont show on screen when I receive a call, I just can see the number but not the "contact name" stored under "contacts" I tried puttin my country code at the beginning of the number and that fixed the issue with the sms but with the caller ID just displays the number without the name....

I have problem with my Nokia 101. I have contact saved on both SIM cards, but when that contacts call me, the phone does not show contact name nor from one SIM, but only a phone number. I tried to save contact also to phone, but nothing happened.

Having problems with the E7 caller ID? Randomly the phone doesn't show the callers name, even if he/she is listed on my phonebook. This is not related to duplicate entries, because it works right after phone restart, but fails randomly. The SMS list is also affected, but not all the time. Few times a have seen a call come in and not show the name of the caller. After I have missed that call, I'll go to the missed calls list and there is the name of the caller?!

Since a few days, whenever somebody calls me from a number that is in my agenda, it only shows the number, but not the name in the agenda. This is something that has happened since some days ago, as before this did not happen and I did not change any settings in between.

I have added my facebook account, and clicked the box, to sync contacts.
All contacts are synched, profile pics show up on the contact list but Caller ID photos do not show up during calls.

I downloaded the latest update for the Blackberry Torch (6.0) and I cannot charge my phone. I have tried to charge via a USB port and several wall outlets. I have removed the battery (following possible solutions found on this forum) - while the phone is on, with it turned off, and while it was plugged into a wall socket. It displays the charging icon for a few moments and then stops charging. Also, my phone does not always show the caller ID of an incoming call. I have edited my contacts list on several occasions to have each contact saved as +11234567 and 1234567. I have reformatted the phone twice since purchasing. I was so excited about this phone when it came out, bought it shortly after release.

Many of us have private numbers ...we dont want the number to flash when they call us or when we call them ....The problem is that Nokia C7 N8 N86 N82 and many latest mobile from nokia, are displaying the name along with the number of the caller We dont want our private contacts number to flash each time they call us ... please come up with a solution for this Millions and millions of nokians will be happy ....currently Only iphone doesnt flash number along with name Old models of nokia like N73 n80 never flashed the number ......

I do have two problems with my s2 which i bought one week ago, 1- some time (NOT ALWAYS) the screen stay black when some one call, and it doesn''t even activate when i touch it to answer the call.2- the other problem is that the callers cannot hear my voice clearlydid any one encounter this problem B-4 and how ican solve it , or i have to go back to the dealer?

I have just bought a Nokia 2220 slide, and have always had Nokias and loved them, as easy to use. However, I can not make this phone display the number that is calling? For example I have added my home number as a contact, as well as my partners mobile, and both phones when they ring it comes up as "call" and then if I miss the call, it states (no number). And I know for a fact both of these numbers are not private. Is there a setting I need to change to make the number display? I have turned on my info display for other callers, but this has not helped.

I have just installed spb windows mobile shell 3.5 on my phone everyhting works great except for the caller id. When getting an incoming call only the picture shows up, but no name or number at all. The funny thing is if i ignore, then all the info shows up in my missed calls list. Is this a bug in the spb software or is there a windows setting i missed? P.S. I've already tried the registry fix for call id match, ive used the key value 7, 10, and 11 hoping it would recognize, but it doesnt.
