I have added my facebook account, and clicked the box, to sync contacts.
All contacts are synched, profile pics show up on the contact list but Caller ID photos do not show up during calls.
All my contacts are synced, Facebook profile pics show up on the contact list but Caller ID photos do not show for incoming/sending calls. Its just the generic picture. However Google+ profile pictures do appear in a small circle on the bottom left corner on a gray background.
PS: The problem started after the 5.0 update. I've already reset the phone and tried doing the update with PC Companion. Nothing works.
whenever i open the album folder it takes a long time to show the photos stored in it... i dont know the reason why it takes such a long time to show the pictures... can i know how to make it to work faster..?

This is not related to duplicate entries, because it works right after phone restart, but fails randomly. The SMS list is also affected, but not all the time. Few times a have seen a call come in and not show the name of the caller. After I have missed that call, I'll go to the missed calls list and there is the name of the caller?!

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have read about this on this forum and others. I cant find a definitive answer. I have three contacts that are also in my ICE (in case of emergency) contact. They are my wife, my mom, and my parent's house.
When my wife calls I just see her number and her photo on the caller id. - No ICE.
When either my parents home or mom call I get ICE and MOM, but no photo. I have searched through all the ways I listed these contacts and cannot figure out how I got my wife's to "work". I want a way to tell the phone to not display the caller id from ICE.
I called the phone company, and they gave me this code I plug it in call pay money to get the service of Blocking my number when calling someone. I signed up for the service, but when I went to Settings --> Phone --> Show Callers ID, I was not able to turn it OFF, it was blocked to ON. What do I do to make it work, I really don't want to jailbreak my iPhone for this.

When I call people whether it is landline or cellular it shows up private/unkown. my Iphone 3gs is unlocked for T-Mobile I called them and they said it has to be because of Apple, This has never happened before.

I downloaded the latest update for the Blackberry Torch (6.0) and I cannot charge my phone. I have tried to charge via a USB port and several wall outlets. I have removed the battery (following possible solutions found on this forum) - while the phone is on, with it turned off, and while it was plugged into a wall socket. It displays the charging icon for a few moments and then stops charging. Also, my phone does not always show the caller ID of an incoming call. I have edited my contacts list on several occasions to have each contact saved as +11234567 and 1234567. I have reformatted the phone twice since purchasing. I was so excited about this phone when it came out, bought it shortly after release.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have this weird problem on my 3GS. This is what happens:
1. Someone calls me from number not in my contacts.
2. I go to my "recents" and click the arrow, and then "create new contact".
3. I type a name (Lyle) and click "save".
4. In "recents" the number now shows up as "Lyle", everything seems ok.
5. In the "contacts app" Lyle does not exist. Therefore also does not sync with mobileme.
If I add a contact in the contact app itself, everything works fine.
I have an iPhone 4s. All software is up to date but the setting to turn Show My Caller ID is greyed out on OFF and can't be changed.
I have contacted my carrier and it is enabled from their end.I have put my SIM in another 4s and the setting works on that phone.
I have done a full restore and reset all settings with no success.

after I updated my Nokia E6 to the recent software, it doesnt show the callers names when receiving a call and when receiving an sms. I have to save the same number twice, once with international prefix example +963 (thats for my home country) and once without. When receiving calls it show the name only if saved without the prefix (unless its an international call) and when receiving sms it shows the name only when its saved with the international prefix. I didnt have that problem before the update!

I had the tour first and since upgrading to .732 since the BOLD has the same software and i now have the bold 9650-verizon. When my phone rings the last callers name will come up first then automatically change to current caller.Has this been happening to anyone?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have same problem with my C7-00. It was working properly to display all caller id names those are stored with country code using + sign. I came from India to Singapore, changed my SIM, still it was working. After upgrading it with ANNA, it has stopped displaying names in calls, but works for SMS !!
There is no Duplication issue.
When I opened call with Nokia, surprisingly, I was told that this is a new issue they are having. But I am seeing so many people are struggling with it. I used *#7780# & *#7370#, but still same, problem is not resolved.
To c heck if it is subscriber issue, I put my SIM in another same model C7-00, which is still not upgraded with ANNA & there it works. Nokia supporter does not have solution to back to old software.
A friend has a Moto X and says that when an incoming call comes in that is not in his Address Book, no caller ID information is provided. The only thing that pops up is an Accept or Decline button. Is this common? Or is there a way to turn on a feature that will give him the phone number of the incoming call?
