Nokia :: 5030 - Contact Names Not Shown On Calls And SMS
Mar 10, 2010Nokia 5030 don't show names of all calling/sms writing people- saved in adress book. Some people numbers saved in adress book when calling to me I see, their name, but most of saved names and numbers in adress/sim book, don't show name, only number, like they aren't saved in phone book. The same thing is with sms receiving. Phone is 10 days old.

Jun 18, 2015All my contacts are synced, Facebook profile pics show up on the contact list but Caller ID photos do not show for incoming/sending calls. Its just the generic picture. However Google+ profile pictures do appear in a small circle on the bottom left corner on a gray background.
PS: The problem started after the 5.0 update. I've already reset the phone and tried doing the update with PC Companion. Nothing works.

Jul 3, 2010My z2 has a camera problem. initially worked fine , then stopped taking photos - they show as broken files and can't be opened. I factory reset the phone and the camera worked for one day. it then stopped taking photos - when you take a pic, it shows the little orange circle going round and round , but then doesn't store the photo. Yesterday I cleared the cache and this appeared to make it work. The camera now takes photos, but I cannot message or bluetooth them - just says could not add item. I tried to transfer them to my computer , via usb and they all show as broken files , but with the .jpg extension , so not the lost.dir problem. Any better camera to download thru playstore that works well ...

May 24, 2012i have a problem by adding/editing new contact, after i added/edited the contact, it will shown on top of all my contact list, and i can't scroll the letter before the alphabet i added/edited.For example: i added James into my new contact list, it will appear on top of all my contacts with the alphabet J, then i can't scroll down using the scroll bar beside to search for the contacts name with alphabet before J like i want to search Benjamin using scroll bar but i can't, if i want to search someone name with alpahbet after J is fine, what's wrong with my phone?

Jul 19, 2010Suddenly the pictures I have taken with the phone do not show up any more in the standard photos application. It shows only one picture this month but they are still existing on phone memory. Looks like the library information are corrupted. Anybody having an idea how to restore? Can do that with music, but could not find it in photos-application ?

Xperia Z3 :: Blank Default Contact Pictures During Calls
Jul 18, 2015I have the Xperia Z3 from Tmo and when I see my contacts I see the pictures on them but when I call them or they call me I get the blank default picture for them during the call. I have verify I dont have multiples contacts of the same or multi pictures. I reset the phone and in the first sync everithing was OK but after like one hour again the same probpem. I reset it and installed all apps one by one to see if one of them was giving me the error but everithing was OK after I intall them and after some hours again the same thing. I like this phone and I dont whant to go back to ios.

Mar 17, 2010I am not happy with the V 40 update for my device. The problems faced are,
1. Sometimes cannot accept calls - Error shown is request rejected
2. Music library get corrupted.
3. Camera doesnot flash on its own in low light.
4. Hangs quite a times.
5. Use OVI maps only to restart your phone.
6. Sensor controls are bad.
7. Installing a few applications gets it slow.
8. Clock doesnot display its time on the home screen.
I am seriously annoyed by this.First I did the update myself.I then visited a Nokia Care centre and the version was reinstalled. I still have the same problems. I have done it myself through the software updater and OVI suite. Thats means a total of 4 updates and still the errors are present.

When I receive a text from one particular contact in my phone book, the number displayed is a combination of 4 different numbers, all of which belong to different contacts in my phone book. When I reply the text is sent to the first number of the four which is not the contact who sent me the text! None of these four contacts are connected, nor are they adjacent in my contacts list! I tried deleting the contact affected and then adding back in but this did not fix it.
