I send a SMS to my friend example Ahmad, the phone number is 0199690970. Ahmad name is in my contact list. The problem is when Ahmad reply me, the number shown is +0199690970. The problem is this number not in my list then i dont know who is sending me a message because in the contact list Ahmad number is only 0199690970.

View 5 Replies View RelatedOnce I updated my IPhone to the latest OS 5.1, I noticed the keyboard shown at search Page is now shown at all pages which means I can't use the application in the lower half of the page. I have to lock and unlock to remove the keyboard!!!

After upgrading to 4.1.B an incoming SMS was shown, but after reading it disappeared from discussion.Weired - a part of it can still be seen after entering "messaging" in the SMS overview, but opening SMS history the current SMS is not listed.Another (not long) funny observation is that incoming SMS from a contact "Tom" will show up as sender "Tn". Ok, there is one analogy. Both names begins with a "T".

When I receive a text from one particular contact in my phone book, the number displayed is a combination of 4 different numbers, all of which belong to different contacts in my phone book. When I reply the text is sent to the first number of the four which is not the contact who sent me the text! None of these four contacts are connected, nor are they adjacent in my contacts list! I tried deleting the contact affected and then adding back in but this did not fix it. View 5 Replies View RelatedMy z2 has a camera problem. initially worked fine , then stopped taking photos - they show as broken files and can't be opened. I factory reset the phone and the camera worked for one day. it then stopped taking photos - when you take a pic, it shows the little orange circle going round and round , but then doesn't store the photo. Yesterday I cleared the cache and this appeared to make it work. The camera now takes photos, but I cannot message or bluetooth them - just says could not add item. I tried to transfer them to my computer , via usb and they all show as broken files , but with the .jpg extension , so not the lost.dir problem. Any better camera to download thru playstore that works well ...

I can send them, and people recieve them, but when people text me, I don't get their texts.I have put my sim card into another phone, and have been able to recieve texts perfectly.HOWEVER. I have resolved this issue once, I was reccomended to do a factory reset on my phone. I did it, and I was receiving texts again.But, after a while, I stopped receiving texts.I don't want to have to do a factory reset again and again, since reinstalling all the apps is a pain.

Then shoes "Emergency Nos Only". It won't receive texts but I am able to send them. Calls appear to be working ok other than I had a couple of missed calls yesterday which apparently rang once and then said phone is switched off. I recently added someone after my upgrade, but I am not able to receive sms from that 1 person.I can send sms, call and receieve calls from the contact. I've check the phone of the contact and everything seems to be going through and they havenot had any problems with anyone else and neither have I.I do remember at the very beginning, when the contact sent their first message, I was on a phone call and I saw and heard a notification that I hadan sms from them, but when I went to check it, it just disappeared and I have never received anything since. First, I thought people where crazy, sending me the same sms two or three times in a row. But now I've realized that they aren't, it's just my phone that receives them over and over again. It is the same thing with notifications. If I set a reminder in the calendar, the reminder pops up in my notification bar sometimes five or six times before I get to angry and delete the whole event from the calendar.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI had had many bugs regarding this phone, but this is one of them. Even though, I have researched and they blamed that it was the SIM card. Replacing a new SIM card might be a solution, but I think this may also be a cause of a defective device since the same SIM card still worked perfectly in another phone. This is my second Sony phone and I will not have a third with any reason.
Other major issue that I also had was the phone was automatically reset and erased all data (including external SD). I also researched and they blamed this might be due to someone logged into google account and triggered it. All right, this can be just an explanation, but since this is a very serious issue since the device could hold all types of data that are very critical to users.
