Dec 4, 2015On my droid turbo I have my contact list on the contacts icon on the main screen. In the phone dialer contacts list I have my wife's contact list that comes up. I can't figure out how to change that to my contacts lost.

May 24, 2012i have a problem by adding/editing new contact, after i added/edited the contact, it will shown on top of all my contact list, and i can't scroll the letter before the alphabet i added/edited.For example: i added James into my new contact list, it will appear on top of all my contacts with the alphabet J, then i can't scroll down using the scroll bar beside to search for the contacts name with alphabet before J like i want to search Benjamin using scroll bar but i can't, if i want to search someone name with alpahbet after J is fine, what's wrong with my phone?

Jun 2, 2011when I hit the text mess. icon then the green + in top right corner to compose new text I now have to type in name, and can't scroll down contact list. Also the email address comes up instead of the contacts phone number.

Homescreen - Contacts App - displays only the name and picture of each contact.

Homescreen - Phone App (stock app) - All Contacts - displays name, picture and phone number(s) with labels (i.e., mobile, work, etc.)
Why for the love of all things Moto are these two different?? I prefer view #2 given it displays the phone numbers.
Is there any way at all to change the settings to where I see view #2 no matter how I access my contacts list?
This is unbelievably annoying!!
Also, on my old Razr Maxx, when viewing the contacts list, the alphabet was aligned vertically along the right side of the screen and I could jump to a specific letter by touching it.
Now on my Turbo, there is no alphabet and I can't jump directly to the Ts for example.. I now have to scroll through the entire blasted list. Any way to add the quick-jump alphabet to the Turbo contact list?
Here are pictures to demonstrate my issues. Mainly the different views problem as I don't have my Razr Maxx any longer to show the quick-jump alphabet I'm talking about wanting again.

I would like to create a contact with the main call number and add each persons passcode to their contact information as an "other" phone number. Is there a way to call the contact number then when prompted for the passcode, go to a the appropriate contact and have their "other" number sent to enter the conference call?

Apr 15, 2012Anyone else have problems with the dialer not responding? I have issues as well with links not responding, same issue I believe but to the dialer first. On occasion I will try to make a phone call and when I press on the person I want to call it will highlight but not dial. I can do this over and over again with just the name highlighting for like thirty times. Then all of a sudden (30 seconds to 3 minutes later) all the phone calls will try to go through and I can hear the persons (usually my wife) voicemail and ringing at the same time. As for the links, it's a similar issue. I will click on a link and it will highlight but will not do anything. Usually when this happens I have to click it three or four times before it registers and the link is followed.

May 24, 2011Anything to do with dialing, I'll touch the contact I want to dial and it will take up to 20 seconds for the phone to resond. Other times, I'll end up touching the contact twice and by the time it connects, the phone is asking me to merge calls..I'm running 2.2.1 OTA, I'm rooted, but have not made any changes, no ROM's, pretty straight forward. I just took the phone in to a VZW store a few weeks back and they did a full reset on it. Can the dialer cache get full?

Jul 12, 2011When I press the dialer icon from the home page, the screen flashes like it is trying to open the phone dialer, but nothing happens. I have tried opening the phone dialer through contacts and through the car dock. Still nothing. It just flashes open real quick and then returns to the home page. I am not looking for another dialer to download, I would just really like to get the original one working again.

Jun 28, 2011Does anyone know of a way to put the shortcut that takes you directly to the dialer in the bottom four icons? There is the one shortcut that you can put in the bottom four can take you to the dialer (as long as the dialer was the last thing you used) or to your contacts (if that was the last thing you used). The one I would like to be able to put on the bottom is the dialer shortcut that can take you to the dial pad no matter what. I can put that shortcut anywhere but in the bottom four. Does anyone know of a way to put the shortcut to the direct dialer down on the bottom without having to use something like launcher pro or ADW?

Mar 21, 2012A week ago I went to make a phone call hit the icon on my home page without looking to see it had been replaced with the Kindle app icon..and of course...opens the Kindle app. Now, in order to make a phone call...I have to open my contacts, press the dialer, and then make the call. A lot of extra effort for a phone call when the main function of the phone is making phone calls.
maybe I should just wait another two weeks and go buy an iPhone. Renewal is just around the corner.
Motorola Droid Turbo :: Random Battery Drain Due To Phone And Dialer Apps
Aug 4, 2015Every once in a while (has happened 2 times in as many weeks) the phone or dialer APP will suck battery and throw off my typical discharge time WITHOUT me ever placing a call (let alone opening the phone interface). For example, as shown in the attached, I'm down almost 70% on just 19 hours and change of use, with just 2.5 hours of screen on time, with the phone app draining 7% without any phone usage. Typically, I can make it 24+ hours with 4+ hours of screen time on that level of battery drain.
Aside from those instances, battery has been great on L. Used to get, typically, about 26 hours before charging at 25%. Now, I consistently get 29+ hours on the same usage.
Motorola Droid Bionic :: Text Messages Not Being Shown As Read?
Aug 15, 2012Does anyone have a problem (perhaps since .905, maybe an update before that) with Text Messages not being shown as being read after you've read them? It is getting really annoying... I get a text message, I read it, and I go to look at a new text message and there it is looking all Unread! It may even make an indicator appear in the top bar (but I'm not 100% positive about that). I've seen this problem arise on PC's in Outlook, but it's definitely never been a problem of mine with cell phones before.

It's worked.Purple VRS is relay service for the deaf.Then next couple days, one of my hearing kids told to downloaded Tango Video app and it worked okay.So I can talk to my hearing kids using the Tango Video. BUT the problem is that I noticed when I tried Purple VRS calls, I can see vrs person but she or he can't see me at all. I noticed that my face camera is not shown on the Droid Bionic.
I've decided to remove the Tango Video app and tried again with PurpleVRS still same problem.Is there an option to tell Droid Bionic to settle the face video camera mode to turn on whenever using the Purple VRS?I've tried with PurpleVRS Support and they forward my problem to Mirial company ( appl software company).He doesn't know how long will they response. That's why I came here to see if you know where the video mode turn on/off.

Apr 30, 2012I have a Motorola Cliq xt from T-mobile. I switched to AT&T with unlock code provided by T-Mibile. All works fine except for contact list. I downloaded contacts from SIM and now contact screen is black. Worked fine with T-Mobile. I do not use social network, any idea what causes this. The contacts are in the phone because when i dial a number in my list the name appears on the dial pad, however, contact list is black.
