Motorola Droid Turbo :: Phone Dialer Contact List - How To Change It
Dec 4, 2015On my droid turbo I have my contact list on the contacts icon on the main screen. In the phone dialer contacts list I have my wife's contact list that comes up. I can't figure out how to change that to my contacts lost.

Aug 4, 2015Every once in a while (has happened 2 times in as many weeks) the phone or dialer APP will suck battery and throw off my typical discharge time WITHOUT me ever placing a call (let alone opening the phone interface). For example, as shown in the attached, I'm down almost 70% on just 19 hours and change of use, with just 2.5 hours of screen on time, with the phone app draining 7% without any phone usage. Typically, I can make it 24+ hours with 4+ hours of screen time on that level of battery drain.
Aside from those instances, battery has been great on L. Used to get, typically, about 26 hours before charging at 25%. Now, I consistently get 29+ hours on the same usage.

Mar 5, 2015I just got my Droid Turbo last night and I love it. Coming from an S3 its amazing! I only have one thing I cannot figure out. How do you add another tile to that drop down menu? I want to add volume control as its the only thing missing that I use all the time. It's driving me nuts because at the moment the only way to silence my phone is to hold down the volume key. I went through all the settings and didnt see the "notification drawer" option anywhere.

On mine, I have "Owner", Brightness, Settings, etc. I'd really like be able to silence my phone from this menu. There are more spaces, so I feel like I should be able to change what's on there. Jan 27, 2015So I noticed that my moto action (approach) stopped working on my phone.
I know some people hate this feature because it seems to wake up the phone unnecessarily, but in terms of impact to battery it's minuscule to none.
I actually like this feature because using the power button to wake up the phone seems rather inconvenient after having gotten used to the approach feature.
The problem is that it suddenly stopped working for me. I know that people are going to ask if I enabled this in the moto actions menu, it's definitely turned on. I rebooted the phone several times with it on and off. None of those measures have worked.

Jul 9, 2015Prior to the lollipop update everything was working fine. Now if I am listening to something on the Audible app or Pocketcast app the Google Maps voice will not break in with directions. There will just be a brief silence where it is trying to speak but no actual voice. If I pause the book or music the maps voice works. If I turn the Bluetooth on the phone off the voice breaks through just fine on the phone speaker. It's very frustrating.

Dec 7, 2015I have a Droid Turbo. Sometime today the little microphone button on my home page has stopped working when pressed. It only happens on my homepages on the phone, so if I tap on Google and bring up the browser page or then I can tap on the microphone and talk.
If I'm on the Home Screen; however, I can press it again and again and it is totally unresponsive. I have tried:
-turning the phone off and on again,
- going onto home-screen settings and turning google search on and off
- downloaded a anti-virus program suggested by a friend with the same phone and done searches.
This may seem like a rather small issue, but I use that microphone button a lot when using my phone.

Jul 1, 2015I have my phone set to respond to "OK Google Now". When I am not connected to Bluetooth, this works great. When connected to BT, the Moto Voice Blue "Listening" window pops up, then minimizes/closes after 1 second. This did not happen with KitKat.

If I press the lock button myself, the phone will lock and stay black with the time. If I unlock my phone and let it be, it'll turn to the rainbow colors. Apr 15, 2012Anyone else have problems with the dialer not responding? I have issues as well with links not responding, same issue I believe but to the dialer first. On occasion I will try to make a phone call and when I press on the person I want to call it will highlight but not dial. I can do this over and over again with just the name highlighting for like thirty times. Then all of a sudden (30 seconds to 3 minutes later) all the phone calls will try to go through and I can hear the persons (usually my wife) voicemail and ringing at the same time. As for the links, it's a similar issue. I will click on a link and it will highlight but will not do anything. Usually when this happens I have to click it three or four times before it registers and the link is followed.

Sep 12, 2011We've had nothing but problems, and Verizon nor Moto through any sort of advertising weight behind these phones.What's more, you can't really even buy one right now, because everyone is "sold out."Pft.More like, they aren't selling anymore because we were the soak test guinea pigs for the Bionic, and they know that the D3 is a buggy mess and people are returning them in hordes for replacements.We have the same exact everything, except less RAM, and adding LTE.So in other words they worked out the software (and probably hardware as well) kinks on us with less RAM so that coding for something with more RAM would be easy. So the plot is, quietly release a phone so that only people who read tech blogs would know about it (aka, low sales) and then wait to see what issues arise from this extended real world soak test so they will have some additional last minute data for the Bionic.

May 24, 2011Anything to do with dialing, I'll touch the contact I want to dial and it will take up to 20 seconds for the phone to resond. Other times, I'll end up touching the contact twice and by the time it connects, the phone is asking me to merge calls..I'm running 2.2.1 OTA, I'm rooted, but have not made any changes, no ROM's, pretty straight forward. I just took the phone in to a VZW store a few weeks back and they did a full reset on it. Can the dialer cache get full?

Apr 21, 2012My droid X is still in version 4.5.605.MB810. When I try to do much of anything with the phone, the notification bar will disappear and the green light at the top starts blinking. After this happens, I cannot receive any test messages or phone calls. the only way that I can get the phone to work correctly again is to cut it off and reboot it. Yesterday it showed the update for the new software but wouldn't download it.
