My phone started having this pop up on the screen. I have to push "ok" to get it to close. It even pops up at night when my "night clock" is on - blocking out the time on the screen.

I have figured out how to get all of the apps I want to notify me when I have something new however I cannot get email (I'm using Gmail as my email) to notify me when I have a new email what am i doing wrong it's checked off i even checked it under moto it's one of the ones checked off as well what am I doing wrong???....
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been using K9 to connect to my IMAP email account and everything was working fine for the past month. Woke up yesterday and noticed it was no longer downloading new email and would just time out trying to connect. Tried removing and reinstalling the account - no luck, can't connect with the usual settings. Also tried creating the account with the default Android email and MailDroid and they also won't work. My provider swears that everything is working on their end and that I'm using the right settings.

I took it into the Verizon store and they told me I was covered under the warranty but that I wouldn't be able to recover my data because I have a password on my phone. Is there a way to recover my photos and videos by bypassing the password? Or will I actually lose everything?

My primary acct. is with Comcast and I have multiple folders set up for organization purposes; receipts, auto, ebay, etc. None of the email apps I've tried recognize any of the folders other than the inbox. Are there any apps out there that support this? Also, every app I've tried seem to only be able access the most recent 45 emails? Why don't they see everything in the inbox?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI love my Turbo but my email keeps re-downloading even after I've deleted. I just deleted 123 emails dating back to December. Then I heard email notification again and this time 149 emails were DL'ed again duplicating what I deleted plus some. With the Turbo you can't do a select all to delete so it's one at a time or check all and then hit delete. I can't keep doing this. I've checked email settings and I see nothing where I can get this to stop.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have rebooted, contacted Verizon numerous times, been routed to a Level II technician, but nothing seems to solve the only intermittent problem of getting no notification sound when I get an email. The problem started out getting no ringtone sound when I got a call. Verizon finally fixed that by enabling something on advanced calling in their network. That took numerous trips to the Verizon store. Then, two days ago, I went back to Verizon with my wife to look at the iphone6 for her. I casually mentioned the notification problem to the salesperson, who said the problem was probably due to my downloaded sounds, and that I should stick to the sounds on the phone. I promptly went home and removed the downloaded sounds, but the problem persists. Because the problem is intermittent, no one has been able to fix it.

I can go to a browser based client for, say yahoo mail or comcast mail and the attachment is quickly downloaded. Why the default email app is having this problem?

I used the same settings that I did with my RAZR MAXX HD. initially replies were sent correctly but after about a week they became jammed up in the Outbox. I had to delete the account and started again but this time it only worked for 2 days.

Also, there is a report button that doesn't seem to do anything. I am going out of town for work and desperately need to send or reply to corporate emails.

I know some people hate this feature because it seems to wake up the phone unnecessarily, but in terms of impact to battery it's minuscule to none.
I actually like this feature because using the power button to wake up the phone seems rather inconvenient after having gotten used to the approach feature.
The problem is that it suddenly stopped working for me. I know that people are going to ask if I enabled this in the moto actions menu, it's definitely turned on. I rebooted the phone several times with it on and off. None of those measures have worked.
*#*#4636#*#* doesn't work in the dialer like other moto phones I've tried. How do I get this to work? I just want my phone to stay on WCDMA only....
